Yesterday was pretty good, especially considering all the temptations I had. We did end up getting pizza - I did pretty good though. The only problem is, we have a lot of left overs I am trying to stay away from today! I never did exercise yesterday but I walked around a bit at the mall and cleaned my fish tank (its a huge one) - so I am kinda sore today. I would like to do a work out dvd today but I am being lazy. Crocheting some dish rags for a dog rescue donation that need to be done soon. So I will see if I can get to a video haha. I have a pretty intense meeting tonight that I am pretty nervous about. This afternoon I think I am going to cook up a huge pot of chicken/veggie soup to keep around for the week.

Hi ladies! Hope you are all having a good weekend!

Last night didn't really go as planned food-wise. I was supposed to meet my friend for dinner at 8:30 and was unfortunately starving by 5:30. My bf came home with 2 large pizzas and cinnamon sticks, and I could not resist. I ended up having 3 slices and 2 cinnamon sticks . But, I didn't eat at the restaurant (except for the margarita) and had only 2 1/2 cranberry and vodkas for the rest of the night. This morning I had a slight loss, but it's prob because I'm a little dehydrated from the alcohol so I'll be drinking lots of water today.

sotypical, good for you for doing well with the pizza, but leftovers are the worst. Luckily, my bf left the pizza out all night (ew right?) so my mom threw all the leftovers away so I don't have any temptations today. Yay!

3/14/2010

Breakfast
none, slept in

Lunch
1 bean burrito (Taco Bell)
1 volcano taco (Taco Bell)
1/2 Dr Pepper

Dinner (my mom had an extra turkey from Christmas that's been in the freezer so she decided we're having a faux thanksgiving dinner tonight...)
4 oz turkey
2 tbsp turkey gravy
1/2 cup cornbread stuffing
2 deviled eggs (made w/ mustard and light mayo)
small spinach salad w/ strawberries, walnuts, and 1 tbsp raspberry vinegarette
1 red fat crescent roll w/ 1 tsp light veggie oil "butter"
H2O

= apprx 1,600 calories

Hi Everyone

I hope you all had good weekends. I had some lows (very very low) and some highs but as per usual way too short.

Here is my 3/15/2010

B - 1 multi grain dinner roll with thin swipe of margarine + 2 egg omlete with spinach and onions + 1 apple + 1 small banana + 1 yoghurt with flax

L - Turkey Salad (3oz roast turkey, 2 cups mixed greens, 1 whole tomato, 2oz light chedder cheese and cal wise dressing) + 1 Kashi Granola Bar

D - Rotissiere chicken (white meat) + 1 small cesar salad + little bit of seasoned rice + 1 multi-grain dinner roll

Drinking: 1 morning coffee + 2L water throughout the day + 1 can diet pepsi

Have a happy, healthy and OP day

I did get off my butt and exercise yesterday. Did a Walk Away the Pounds DVD and tried the Turbo Jam Learn and Burn. Still not really liking the Turbo Jam, too hard to follow.

B- raisin english muffin w/ margarine, coffee w/ cream

S- more coffee, cottage cheese, starberries

L- chicken veggie soup

S- banana

D- brown rice, veggies (carrots, onion, celery, zucchini) and chicken topped with http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recip...?recipe=207239

Total: 1277 calories

I was going to exercise tonight, but thinking about skipping it now. There is a lot going on this week and it is going to be very emotional - tonight might also be my only night I don't have to do anything. So I might just really focus on eating this week and not worry about exercise. I will exercise some mornings though if I can.

I'm back from the weekend, tail between my legs. We had guests who wanted to take us out for EVERY meal Fri-Sun. I made mostly healthy choices, and I didn't make any overeating mistakes (I always stopped when full), but eating out just makes me feel like I've been bad. I'm ready for a new start to the week, but unfortunately I've got leftovers from the weekend staring at me from the fridge. Even though I hate wasting food, I think I'm going to toss some, and finish the rest today and tomorrow so that I'll be back on track.

Well, we got through the hardest day!

Paja Sometimes it is best to get rid of the temptations. Yesterday I threw out the remainder of the Chocolate Wine that I had. There's no sense in me having that stuff around tempting me. Yes it tastes good and I enjoyed it, but I don't need it.

Sotypical I've never done learn and burn. Does she explain the moves? Sometimes it's easier to jump right in and have fun with it, that's how I learned. Turbo Jam may not be for you, though.

Mama How do you like the grilled chicken snack wraps? Did you get the sauce or not? I find them pretty filling for the amount of carlories in them.

SoTypical, I've done the Learn and Burn and I couldn't follow TJ either. {Diana, don't read this!} Charlene goes so fast I feel more like I'm flailing around than kickboxing. Loved the 'Shake and Shed' move however. I hope your week turns out to be better than you expected.

Paja, I read The Beck Diet Solution and one of her techniques was 'if you have a bad week, make some bad choices just say 'oh, well' and start fresh. Don't let all those eaten-out meals get to you.

Lauren, Hopefully your highs and lows work out to a 'good' average.

Diana, I do like the snack wraps. I got the Ranch one but have tried all of them at one point or another. I really like the Mac Wrap but that is a no no for now I'm sure. Yesterday I actually started tracking my calories instead of just "guessing" how much I was taking in. Apparently I wasn't eating as much as I thought I was (I was only eating about 1200 calories).

March 15, 2010

48+ ounces water
30 minute walk (16 city blocks)

Breakfast: 300 calories
Scrambled egg bake (eggs, zuchinni, mushrooms, bell peppers, turkey, cheese)

Lunch: 438 calories
WW Salisbury Steak Meal
Cottage Cheese

Snacks: 306 calories
Yogurt
Apple
Low-Skim Mozzarella cheese stick
Frosted Mini Wheats (dry)

Dinner: 462 calories
Corned beef & cabbage with carrots
Almonds/Walnuts 175
SF Pudding 60

Approximately 1741 calories (still not enough). According to Fit Day I should have closer to 2000 calories.

Thanks for the support on my weekend!

Today was pretty good- all leftovers, like I predicted, but reasonable portions of them, and the rest are going in the trash. I had half of a beer after dinner because I ended up eating very little at dinner- it was a celebratory beer someone bought me a month ago, and I've been waiting for a chance to slip in some empty calories.

Exercise- 30 Day Shred, level 2, plus some random stairs and sprints to make 30 min. A nice workout overall.

Keep up the good work everyone!

What's wrong with flailing around? Chalene says that even the mistakes burn calories. That's the motto I live by.
