Hi Everyone

I hope you all had great weekends, mine was good. Did our Sping cleaning of the house yesterday so my back is kinda sore today but the house looks great! I even gave the dog a bath (which she really enjoyed, she loves water). Next weekend we will be tackling the garage .... *gulp*

Nicole - I am sorry to hear about you and your BF, stay strong, and just like the girls said everything happens for a reason

fashin - well done on that mini goal! you are doing great!

Kris - you did very well for such a busy Sunday! Well done!

Diana - bummer with that dinner, sometimes experiments just don't work out, you'll get it next time!

Here is my 3/22/2010

B - 2 egg omlete with spinach and red onions + 1 slice whole wheat bread + 1 yoghurt with flax + 1 apple

L - 1 veggie burger with cheese, tomato and lettuce on a WW whole wheat bun + small salad of spinach, tomato, cheese and cal wise dressing

D - 4oz salmon with miso glaze + 1/3 cup brown rice + green beans in soy sauce + 12o cal skinny cow ice cream

Drinking: 1 morning coffee + 2L water througout the day (some with green tea) + 1/2 can diet pepsi

Exercise: 15mins on the elliptical + 15mins weights

Have a happy, healthy and OP day

Nicole, As an emotional eater myself, I know how you feel. Just remember the food won't make you feel better. I got a lot of help for my emotional/boredom eating out of Judith Beck's The Beck Diet Solution {pink cover}. Beck is a psychiatrist, her book has little to do with the actual food we eat and more to do with why we eat it. You might check the library for it , although I found mine at TJ Maxx for about $4.
I'll definitely check that out :-) Thanks for the advice! I'll go to the library today - I actually just finished a Meg Cabot book so I wanted to return it anyway.

And everyone, thank you so much for the support. I don't get enough of it around here, just because I don't really know anyone yet. I really appreciate it.

patchworkpenguin thanks for referring that book, I too will check it out. I know my issue has been emotional eating, and over the last few years I have read alot about it. However, getting a handle on it is another 'work in progress'. My main problem is not eating - which is from the emotions and stress of the day. So, hopefully this book will help.

Thanks again.

This weekend was just bad, no planning what so ever and way too many french fries and hamburgers. Add me to the emotional eating list. This weekend was for sure an emotional roller coaster. I am working from home today too becasue of it, but hopefully I can be good. Don't really have a plan though. Have a bit of a plan, but haven't don't calories or anything. Just thought I better check it before I start eating, lol.

Hi Everyone!

Lauren I'm glad your weekend went well. I actually cleaned out some of my clothes this weekend. I ended up 2 large garbage bags (not kitchen bags) to donate. Most of what I got rid of was shirts that are worn or are too big. I will not get rid of my pants that are too big. I have always had problems getting pants, so I will keep them, just in case. Most people say just get rid of them, but I know my history.

Fashin How did your weigh-in go today?

Diana - my plan went pretty well! I had 3 mini eggs and a few nuts - that probably added a fair amount of calories, but overall I am happy with how the day turned out. I am thinking about doing a video here in a few mintues.

I baked my carrots in the oven with some cooking spray and seasoning salt and they turned out awsome!

ped~ 2,380 Pretty low for a Monday.

We have been going to the church gym on Monday's to use the weight machines. I have a lot of equipment at home and have viewed this as a way to get Hubby to exercise but today I felt like I had gotten a good workout, and more comfortable about using the machines. So I'm looking forward to next Monday.

Sotypical, Great workout on the bike.
