Today was good so far, but no breakfast.

Lunch: 2 thin sauteed chicken breasts topped with crab meat, 1.5 cups mixed vegetables (Best guess - 750 max?)

Snack: See's scotchmallow (chocolate, but only 75 calories)

Dinner: Salad with ham, cheese, turkey, light ranch dressing (270)
Bunch of baby carrots with about 2 tbsp hummus

I'll most likely have a piece of fruit tonight, and maybe another bite of chocolate (TOM - chocolate cravings gone mad :-) )

Had a bigger breakfast and a bigger dinner, but nothing too intense, so I think I'm good as long as I don't snack anytime between now and when I go to bed (about five hours- I had an early dinner). I'm going roller-skating tonight, which will burn calories, but I need motivation to avoid the snack bar. Maybe I'll have a Diet Coke as a treat.

Excercise: Biggest Loser Cardio Max Level 1. I was a little disappointed in myself for not doing level 2, but it was still a good workout.

Hope everyone else's days finish successfully!

Thanks Patchwork penguin! I had another Scotchmallow, and I'm about to eat a pear, but I took apart and carried a bookcase tonight so I feel I deserved it! ;-) Kettleball sounds interesting but intense! I need more strength training in my life :-) My exercise has been on hold while I get over this silly cold I have!

I had to Google ScotchMallows, I hadn't heard of those. Dangerous.

I bought the kbells several months ago, but didn't really like them very much until today. I bought them for strength training but the workouts I had tried them with previously focused more on how fast you could do the moves to up the cardio effect. Kbell Way 1 focuses more on strength. I really need a DVD to follow to have 'someone to workout with me'.

yay! this is exactly what i was looking for!

so dinner today was 336.5

i did not meet my exercise or water goals =( but, something is better than nothing. i was just too tired to do the 30 day thread when i came home, and i only did an hour at the gym. booo

exercise:
62 minutes 5.17 miles calories burned 566

water- i finished my first little bottle of water and got a little over half on the second fill so... at least 3 liters- still shy of the 4 i'm aiming for

my goal for tomorrow is to wake up early- get my butt into a cold shower to wake me up and then get some exercise before i go to work, that way it doesnt seem so daunting

Hehe, scotchmallows are brilliant. 75 calories of goodness - and to me, far more satisfying than a single oreo or 3 hershey kisses!!

Still feeling slightly icky today...can anyone recommend me a workout so I'm not just in bed that wouldn't be too strenuous while sick? I'm thinking maybe just 30 minutes on the bikes would be decent.

Nicole - what about a brisk 30min walk?? You know what I like to do sometimes when I REALLY don't feel like working out?? I put on some music and just dance and sing for 30 mins or so - it's fun, not too strenuous and def. puts you in a good mood
