O.. and thanks for the compliment on Cafe World.. I wanted to tell you the same thing.. yours is gorgeous!

Hey Ladies... I figured something out today that is slightly odd to me.. but k, now it has happened the odd time that I have weighed myself around 11am-1pm and was less then, than in the morning... well I always chalked it up to not having ate much or p'd alot or something.. anyway for the last few days I had decided to test this theory and low and behold.. I am my lowest(actual) weight mid day... 204.6yay!! After it being at lowest point again today, being the third day I figure it is a safe bet to say that yea this is my "actual weight" time.. strange huh? I always thought first thing in the morning was best..
Yay, the 10K I spent on the stupid cafe is worth it! I love buying things for it man. I'm so addicted. I want to get that aquitube thingie with the fishies moving in it? It so won't go with my theme but who cares - it's an aquitube thingie with floating fishies!! It costs 100K and I'm at 96 so I have a little more selling to do before I can buy it and still have money for food.

OMG, I'm obsessed.

moving on... hmmm, your crockpot MnC sounds awesome! I think I'll go to walmart and see if I can get a little one to use. I'm scared to buy any new kitchenware even though I LOVE anything kitchen-related because I don't know if it will fit in our (most-likely) dinky little apartment in Boston. I'm moving there in May/June and the apts are tiny for the area we are looking at. Sigh.

Hey, way to go on the 204.6!! YAY! You're so close to onederland, you must be so excited!! Woohoo! A carrot and a cheerleader for you:

I've noticed that, too, Angela. It's funny cause I always weigh them most in the late evening but I'm always lightest around noon - give or take an hour. It's just weird. But I still use a morning weight for my weigh in. I figure it's more of an average.

Welcome, Grace, Sasha, and Beaka! Join in the party! This is probably one of the most important threads I visit daily. Everyone helps support each other. ^^

So, aside from thieving bits of chicken and tortilla from my charge earlier, I've been right on target today. Weight is down a little bit, but not much. Course it's only been two days since weigh in. I shouldn't let it bother me too much. I've already finished almost 60 ounces of water today. Yay! I'm getting back to where I wanted to be. The last two days, intake has been slower than I would have liked. I found myself finishing off the last of my water goal, literally, as I was headed to bed. Sigh.

Randomly, I need chapstick. I feel pretty good about my workout this morning. Thinking of doing it again tomorrow. ^^
That's really interesting that you two weigh less in the afternoon than in the morning. For me, mornings are my lightest for sure! I seem to gain lbs just by standing throughout the day. I know I lose some of it when I weigh right after exercising because of all my sweating. Then I gain it back 20 minutes later from the bottle of water I inhale, haha.

---
So I just realized today that I know a few (very few) HIGHLY annoying people. Don't you just hate it when some people don't get a clue and just keep bugging and bugging until you want to slap them silly? ARGH! Ok, I feel better now that I got that out.

Confession (I also realized I didn't confess yesterday but then again I didn't overeat and was actually really on plan for once, whoa!)

Breffix - 1 cup skim milk + 1 tbsp cocoa powder. Instant oatmeal with 1/4 cup raisins (yum!) 429

Snack - Tostitos tortilla scoop chips. 120

Lunch - Veggie burger, 4 slices specialty bread, lettuce, tomato, 1 tsp ketchup. Dear God, each slice of bread is 150 cals!! Holy crap! 800

Snack - Chips 400

Dinner - 1/2 cup roasted spiced potatoes, 1/2 cup chicken jalfrezi, 1/2 cup plain NF yogurt, 1 cup cooked white rice. Does the calorie count even matter at this point? I'm SOOO overboard!! 565

Total for today: 2314. Wow. Talk about making up for the day before. I'm glad I got my butt outside and did my walk instead of continuing my nap like I wanted to...

Exercise: 60 minutes 3.5 mile walk

Oh today is really depressing. I just looked up the calories for the bread and I feel like my whole day is shot! Ugh.

Oh, Sunni, I know exactly what you mean. One of my sisters-in-law is like that. I remember apologizing to my husband and telling him that something about her just irritates the **** out of me. He laughed and said not to worry, that's who she is and that same unidentified something drives everybody batty.

And your day is not shot! You did walk for an hour. Granted that's not going to burn off all the calories you consumed in that bread, but it will burn off some. And occasional spikes (or dips) in the calories you consume aren't necessarily a bad thing. It's when then happen consistently that it becomes a problem and you start to pack on the pounds. Now you know how many calories they contain and you can adjust accordingly the next time you decide you want some. Right?

The bread that I use is 100 calories a slice and you know what, I don't care. I eat the whole-grain, all natural pricey stuff, though. Usually the 12-grain variety. Or the oat nut one. It's yummy. The slices are slightly larger than your average loaf of bread, and it feels me up better for longer.

...

I do believe that I am going to do 30DS again tomorrow morning. I liked it. It was actually, dare I say it, kind of fun. Sure, there was some burn, but still... Rawr!

Calories. Um... a little high. Well, higher than the last few days anyway. But that's okay. Because I drank more water today than I have in weeks. Yay me!

Day two of 30DS. Completed. Yay. I did notice that my shoulders were a bit sore yesterday afternoon and still a little tender this morning. I think it's a combination of circumstances and not just the workout, though. Namely, trying to wrangle my puppies long enough to get their leads of when we come inside. Especially since my left arm is more sore and it's the one that actually holds on to them. XD Decided I'd leave the weights off today so I could give my arms a little rest and still get my workout in.

As of this morning, I dropped below 226. Three more days until my official weigh-in on Tuesday, though. Let's see if I can keep it up. I'm going for another pound of loss between now and then. So we'll see.^^

Um, why has nobody posted (except Garnet)? Where is everyone??? Today was a bad chip day. I did exercise and watched everything else I ate. This morning I weighed the same as yesterday so I guess my chip attack wasn't as severe as I imagined?

Breffix - 1 cup skim milk + 1 tbsp cocoa powder, instant oatmeal + raisins

Lunch - chips + 2 tortillas (160, MUCH better than that bread), veggie patty, 1 tbsp hummus and lettuce

Snack - chips

Dinner - mexican. Chicken with mole sauce, saffron rice, lettuce tomatoes. Was served with tortillas, had 2. Guessing today was around 2000 - 2100 calories.

Exercise - 35 minutes tennis.

Sunni! I wondered where everybody was. Hehehehe. See. You didn't do as bad as you thought, now did you. Tennis... meh. I've never had the hand-eye coordination for tennis. XD

As of right now, I'm about 100 calories shy of 1800. Which means I can treat myself to a yummy chocolate pudding tonight. Yay! I've gone through almost half my weight in water today! I know! I know! I'm so excited!

omg i was just listening to one of the podcasts from 2007 (jillians) and she mentioned 3fat chicks.com!

so cool ! someone did mention to me that she did mention this site in her podcasts and before she had her site she used to visit this site. how cool is that! she said that this is one of the coolest websites.

she also recommended fitday and calories per hour. i already use fitday. and i'm just about to check out calories per hour.com. just made an account.

ooh i love how i can track my water i love new shiny things haha

i use my excel to track my calories. as most of my calories i work out by the labels of the foods i eat. and then check numerous websites for things that i dont know. like fitday and now this site and other sites like calorie king, which Sunni mentioned to me also which jillian is a massive fan of also

Morning, Echo. I was both surprised and sad to find that after a week of no real sweets that the pudding was really rich. I got through about half of it before I decided it was too rich for me to finish. Sigh. But it's a good thing. I remember when I dropped the 20 lbs back in 2007 that the same thing happened sweeter stuff became too sweet. I'm not really a big fan of the sweeter chocolates as it is (dark chocolate FTW) and my taste buds prefer it even less when I'm watching what I eat.

Day 3 of 30DS. Now all I have to do is get off my butt and do it. Off today so I didn't get up at 530 and workout. Oh well. Yeah, I generally find myself only doing the lower half of a jumping jack because I'm too busy keeping the girls from bouncing with my hands to wave my arms about for that exact reason. As if their sheer weight doesn't lead to enough stretching and sagging. XD

And I do love this thread. It helps me hold myself accountable. And I need to be accountable. ^^

thats great Garnet! i also find that sometimes you just a little of something sweet to satisfy yourself

i'm also going to ride my exercise bike for about 1 hour to burn 600 calories. gonna take it easy though cause of TOM. but i want to burn some calories to get a good calorie deficient today!

also have to really plan my dinner meticulously so i dont go over my calorie budget. since im exercising today. going to aim to eat 1500-1600 calories today.

so gonna stock up on low calorie high volume foods like steamed brocoli and salads. along with rice and chicken.

glad you love this thread!

I love chicken. I've had chicken every night for ... well ... weeks. I make about 4 meals worth and then change it up every few days when I have to cook more. And I bought baby spinach the other day to put on my sandwiches. Hoping it'll add just enough to make me feel full for a little while longer.

Just finished my workout. I actually did the jumping jacks today! Yay! It took some adjusting on my bra and wearing a tank top that's pretty skin-tight and supportive itself, but I worked it out. They still bounce... but that's to be expected. XD

Oh wow - I just looked at their website and I think I definitely need to get me one of those. XD It would go a long way to keeping the girls controlled while I'm working out. (Late response, I know. Hehehe.)
