It was just one day, Echo. One day can't ruin all the rest. I'm sure a little bit of of extra exercise tomorrow and jumping right back on the wagon calorie wise will help curb the damage. ^^

Echo: Yes, I do love Jillian. I'm gonna start back with the 30 Day Shred... any day now. And don't beat yourself up. Just do better tomorrow.

Angela: No lunch? Is 1000 cals your usual?

I ate pretty randomly today
breakfast- breakfast lean pocket ~300cals
Snack- chewy granola bar and tea ~90 cals
lunch- lean pocket, salad, veggies ~ 600 cals
snack- string cheese, 5 crackers, 2 chocolate squares ~ 250cals
when I got home- lean pocket ~300 cals
late dinner- 2 slices multigran bread, egg, 4 slices turkey bacon, 1 slice cheese ~ 350 cals

So... lean pockets were on a really good sale this week. Not usually big on the packaged stuff. I'm randomly still a little hungry. I'm about to eat my other 2 chocolate squares and drink some water and go to bed.

Didn't work out today, but I did walk to work.

They just got done filming a movie next to my apartment complex and I have been busy gawking. Sadly, I couldn't tell who the star was from my balcony, but it was pretty interesting nonetheless!

B: 1 mini cinnamon raison bagel with 1/2 tbsp ICBINB, 1 banana

L: 1 piece homemade pumpkin bread, 1 apple, 1 piece cheddar cheese

S: 1 small soy au lait, 1/2 piece pumpkin bread

D: 1.5 cups whole wheat spaghetti with homemade tomato sauce

S: 1 100 calorie bag of popcorn

No exercise today - I ended up preoccupied with the filming and didn't make it before Top Chef. Whoops.

Here I am! Lots of convo happened in the last 24 hours, holy moly! But I'm all caught up, hee hee.

Echo - I HATE those bad days, really. All I keep thinking about is how much I ate and how I could've prevented it and how I shouldn't have reached for cake/chips and instead has some raisins, blah blah blah. There should be a guilt-trippers anonymous thread so I can be president of it.

Your aunt is awesome, send her to the states! I would love to receive chocky cakes even if they're 6 months after the fact. Hehehehe. I forced my parents to buy me flowers and a bear for my graduation only because I didn't receive ANYTHING for my college graduation. I was jealous of everybody else with flowers and a bear. Hahaha. I still have my cutie patootie bears. They make me happy, remind me of a good day. Are you attending your graduation ceremony? Do they even have one in the UK for PhDs or do they just send you your degree in the mail? I feel that in the US, a bigger deal is made of graduations than elsewhere in the world (which is good for me).

I feel you on the whole procrastination thing. Yesterday, I finished my paper but that was just the content. I need to format everything all over again because I changed the figures and stuff so now I need to go back and check for consistency. I thought this was the easiest part, but it's turning out to be the biggest pain in the butt. Blerg.

Also, my paper that I submitted almost 2 weeks ago? It hasn't even made it to the reviewers. You know why? 'Cause they sit on it for days and then send us an email asking us to clarify funding which we did. Then they sat on it for a few more days and asked us to add more funding info, which we did AGAIN. Now they're still sitting on it and it hasn't even been sent to the editor, forget the reviewers. The ironic thing is this journal advertises its speed of peer review. Um.

Angela - mmm Mac n' Cheese! How do you manage to stay within 1200 calories like that? I think I'm mentally put off by anything under 1600. I'm always scrounging for snacks. Haha. No worries about the exercise. Just don't be like me and let one day turn into lumpification. Sigh. Although I'm proud to say that I dragged myself away from my beloved cafe world long enough to go walk. I walked fast too so I could come back and see to my chicken salad. Haha. BTW, love your cafe decor!

Beaka - welcome!!

Garnet - you're so with it on the exercising, maybe you could take yesterday as a rest day? I remember your posts on taking rest days because of your work schedule.

Emily - oooooh, I love celebrity gossip! When you do find out who it was, let us know!!

TXMary - Great job on the 7 lb loss!! Woohoo!!

Aw, thanks guys. I was worried that, given my mindset yesterday morning, that I wouldn't be able to stick with any workout that early.

I pleasantly surprised to find that I was wrong. I just finished my first day of 30DS. Yay. I like it. Level one, at least, isn't the terror that I was building it up to be. It worked me hard, yeah, but it's totally doable. The only thing I don't like? All the jumping stuff in cardio. I'm a DDD, so even with my best bras, I still bounce around a lot. And it's not often that you can find a sports bra that actually holds them in like it's supposed to when they're so big. XD

Ah well.

Yesterday's calories came in under where I would have liked them to be. Sigh. Like it or not, I need to get my intake back up to 1700-1800 a day to keep my body fueled properly.

It's not so much the boobs jumping around for me as it is the floor I'm jumping on. Not to be self-deprecating, but I live on the third floor and I don't want people below me going "what's going on up there???" when I do jumping jacks. Sigh.

Hey ladies..popping in for a second on my lunch break... Sunni, the homemade mac n cheese was made in the crockpot, and wasn't bad on calories at all.. each cup was like 272.2 calories and believe me you do not need more then a cup with the way the pasta expands..all that was in it was onions, skim milk, shredded marble cheese and gluten free pasta...all thrown in together on low for 4 hours..mmm lol
O.. and thanks for the compliment on Cafe World.. I wanted to tell you the same thing.. yours is gorgeous!

Hey Ladies... I figured something out today that is slightly odd to me.. but k, now it has happened the odd time that I have weighed myself around 11am-1pm and was less then, than in the morning... well I always chalked it up to not having ate much or p'd alot or something.. anyway for the last few days I had decided to test this theory and low and behold.. I am my lowest(actual) weight mid day... 204.6yay!! After it being at lowest point again today, being the third day I figure it is a safe bet to say that yea this is my "actual weight" time.. strange huh? I always thought first thing in the morning was best..

oooh I would like to join. Do we just post whatever we ate for the day? So far I have eaten
B- whole wheat english muffin w/ some butter, half a banana
Snack- South Beach bar and 1 TBSP of peanut butter
Lunch- I'm going to eat a piece of Hoki fish (very similar to cod) and some tomatoes.

Not sure what I am doing for dinner. No plans yet, but I am craving something hearty like turkey chili. My boyfriend and I are trying to do South Beach and we did Phase 1 pretty good. Now we are incorporating certain things back into our meals. Its going to get a little tricky because the holidays are approaching so that means temptations are around every corner.

Dinner will go something like this: Veggie burger, corn on the cob, squash, and maybe a salad.

Ooooh, Yooive. You'll have to stay focused. Stay determined. Don't let it become a habit. Like me and Starbucks hot chocolates when my husband's home. XD

I've noticed that, too, Angela. It's funny cause I always weigh them most in the late evening but I'm always lightest around noon - give or take an hour. It's just weird. But I still use a morning weight for my weigh in. I figure it's more of an average.

Welcome, Grace, Sasha, and Beaka! Join in the party! This is probably one of the most important threads I visit daily. Everyone helps support each other. ^^

So, aside from thieving bits of chicken and tortilla from my charge earlier, I've been right on target today. Weight is down a little bit, but not much. Course it's only been two days since weigh in. I shouldn't let it bother me too much. I've already finished almost 60 ounces of water today. Yay! I'm getting back to where I wanted to be. The last two days, intake has been slower than I would have liked. I found myself finishing off the last of my water goal, literally, as I was headed to bed. Sigh.

Randomly, I need chapstick. I feel pretty good about my workout this morning. Thinking of doing it again tomorrow. ^^
