Lou and SarahGrace - Good luck with the job interviews! that all goes well.

DH is off again so we took the dogs back to the same woods we went to yesterday and, once again, it was great. We met up with a woman who was walking SIX dogs - 5 labradors and one German Shepherd - and she had them under the most amazing control - she could even give them individual remote commands (very impressive).

I'm quite a bit worried about DH's weight loss - he says he's not bothered by it but it does explain why he hasn't been weighing himself lately. This time I forced him on to the scales because its showing in his face and it doesn't suit him. He looks at his 'George Clooney lookalike' best at 12st, the lower he weighs the older he looks. The problem is that he says he just doesn't feel hungry - and if he doesn't feel hungry then he doesn't eat. I'm worried that he'll slowly drift back down to the eight and a half stone that he weighed when I met him 10 years ago which even the doctor said was too low AND made him look 20 years older than he actually was.

Anyway, on the way back from the woods we called in at the cash 'n' carry and bought loads of yummy goodies to tempt him - OMG theres some lovely stuff in my kitchen now!

I've been to Costco too!

I bought baileys with Creme Caramel oooooer missus! I wanted the ordinary baileys but they didn't have small bottles... and ginger beer and beer from around the world for DH and some photo paper and some Wenslydale with cranberries and spent 60 quid!!!!

Sarah Ann - Lets hope Mr Sarah Ann fills up with Christmas goodies - whoever heard of not eating if you are not hungry!!! (ok skinnies do this all the time- I never could!!).

I hope you have all got your Brussels Sprouts boiling away. If not it is too late for this year but you can start next year's batch off......

This was Batleys in Doncaster (we've still got a card from our chippy days, shhhhh!). I got a case of Muller Amore Honey & Walnut yoghurts (full fat) and case of those Robinsons milk flavourings and a gallon or so of full fat milk to make them up with. I tried to get things that I can add to our normal food to increase the fat content like butter and different flavoured olive oils to jazz up his veg and pasta. I also got a load of Ginsters pastry stuff to freeze which can go in his lunchbox for work and a pillow size sack of brazil nuts. This afternoon I'm making him a passion (carrot) cake with philadelphia frosting and some white chocolate chip oatmeal cookies.

The problem is, that he is a naturally slim person who prefers low fat foods in fairly small quantities so my diet food hasn't been a hardship for him at all. .
