Oh I have got into cooking so much these past few months. I make wonderful veggie meatballs which I normally make up in a big batch and then can freeze them. Stole my Dad’s recipe for Beef & Chicken Casseroles which I also freeze!

Today I did a little experimenting with sweet things for Christmas. I made some big diabetic fairy cakes! Lol Actually they turned out really good… and some Gingerbread men which I am going to hang on the tree!

This kind of came about when I pick up some Delia Smith cookbooks cheap on eBay some months back!

Only three more days to work this week then I am off till 3rd January! Wooohooo, tomorrow night it’s my works night out which should be fun but I am not drinking… no chance when I have to get up at 6am for work the next day. End of week though proper works Christmas party which should be so good considering it’s cost us £45 a ticket!

I placed my order for some Christmas food on Tesco online today also… I’ve been using it a bit recently as saves me a trip up there and I find if I shop online I don’t get the chance to buy junk food!

Now if only I could pull my a$$ into gear and do some housework….

Oh and the Continental Christmas Fair is coming to town tomorrow… which = two cute Swedes selling Swedish Cider… = me totally sorted for Christmas!

Whose looking forward to 2007!

Moo- I forgot to ask you - did you enjoy the Buzzcocks?

I too was mugged by chocolate -well - Smith's were selling those big bars for half price. I put it inthe downstairs fridge at my Aunt's on Saturday and it kept jumping out at me. All gone now!

They were alright ... actually I was very disappointed in them, they've not got better with age, the new stuff is dire and the old stuff lacks enthusism. A case of in it for the Money?

Oh Dear. Well none of us are getting any younger....

I guess first time around they (most bands) spend all the money on drugs, now they are doing a 'pension' tour.

Sarah did you enjoy the green bean casserole?

It's a great side to have with turkey so easy to make.

It was REALLY nice - very easy to make. I think next time I might add a touch of garlic - but it really was very nice just as it was. Thank you VERY much for sending me the onions, I don't think there's anything like them over here.

Oooh I got mugged by those Roses last night! I gave them to Lee to give out to the little ones on Saturday morning and he already had a tin of his own to dish out! So I am taking them to my class tonight and to the general one tomorrow and Thursday if there's any left! I think I ate less than 10 choccies but STILL! Never mind!

I'm off to the gym at lunch, I've been reasonably restrained over the weekend apart from during our Scrabble game yesterday! DH takes so long to play I get bored and start eating!

Roses Would much rather have had a SMALL (ie LESS THAN 2.2kg!!!!!) box of fancy choccies than a HUGE tub of boring choccies. I am giving them away
