Hey girls,
Helen, we all have the occasional 'days off' but as long as you get back on track, you are on the right path....and I wouldn't worry so much about the holiday.....it's there to be enjoyed, don't deprive yourself.

SWC, maybe a massage or facial? That's usually nice......I would certainly apreciate it.

Just had a big bowl of pasta with chili tomato sauce...my mouth is still burning lol. It's my TOM and I'm peeing like it's going out of fashion....which is usually a good sign, and hopefully the scales will be nice to me on Thursday.
Had an absolute feast last night for dinner. Was on red day, so had a beef olive and a beef kebap from our butcher, who has a special section for SW, mashed swede, some new potatoes and gravy.....the great thing is, the gravy was the only thing with syns....was absolutely stuffed afterwards.

Going to make the pasta and rice pie tonight with some chips....yummy.....

I'm back, such a busy day, just had a meeting with my Boss, we have a planning meeting 3 times a year for the future term, it went really well, which I am pleased about as I was really nervous about it, and he said he was really pleased with the work I'd been doing.

Mel, which book is it that you use for when you eat out to count the syns on different meals? I'm thinking of getting one, and I want to know which one is good, and has a nice variety of types of food in it.

I'm off to aerobics tonight, hmm might have told you that already in an earlier post lol, and then a night of chilling with Chris, he's started exercising when I'm out which is good, he's working on cardio and on his muscles

Feeling a bit spaced out today, I think I've been working too hard lol, and I just want to switch off and chill out. We watched a couple of movies at the weekend which was nice, Rocky Balboa (really good), Nacho Libra (not great) and New Police Story (very good), I love movie watching.

Right, time to do some more work.....

Wow Crazy helen. Keep it up!!I just saw how much weight you have lost well done to you.

Melgettingthin..ner do your thing, and try and hold back on the holiday temptations it will all be worth it, i'm sure there are some good healthy alternatives in the States too!!I think the pedicure sounds good too. She absolutely loves that sort of stuff i forgot about that. My friend owns a beauty salon maybe i can get a discount. Also thanks for the massage and facial idea too Moonchild.

My mum is making spare ribs with her own adapted SW low syn BBQ sauce. That woman can cook!!She's gonna go visit some relatives soon in Africa, and i thought a good survival pack would be for her to

a)join this site and this board and THIS thread!!!
b)I've seen a full SW pack on ebay for like £3 for her to take with her, she's been using all my old stuff and my book is so torn and tattered.
c)I'm also gonna make her a chart for her loses with stars and everything as she doesnt go to meetings i think this will be good incentive.

Can i know the syns for Go ahead Apple and Sultana Crispy slices(low fat 56 kcals per slice)? BTW where can i find out how much syns something is, cos the're not all in the book.

Hi everyone...hope you're all ok - Well I'm back from France -weather not too fantastic but a good break away!

You lot have been extremely busy ...mice..sky...recipees on blogs... I'm put to shame - i've read Harry Potter - partaken in copious bottles of wine and hit the croissants for 2 weeks - weigh in is tomorrow -oh how we'll chortle!!!

But I am getting back on plan which is good and after the initial shock tomorrow i'll be more determined - the holiday was great for just chillin and forgetting (not completely - which surpised me ) SW.

It feels like I'm going back to school as well as the kids. So i'll shall update you with the dreaded figures and take it like the determined new term girl I am.

Welcome back Bubbly, sounds like you had fun in France. Thanks SWG, my weight loss has been slow but steady, and I'm finally beginning to see it in myself.

Ok girls, time to give me some advice, I'm off to Pizza Express tonight with my hubby and parents to celebrate our wedding anniversay (which is tomorrow), any suggestions for something nice and tasty for me to eat? I'm thinking I'll go down the pasta route and have a green day.

Went to do aerobics last night, and got chatting to two girls there which was cool, there weren't many people at the class, and we did loads of exercises with weights which I enjoyed.

How is everyone today?

Happy anniversary to you and your hubby Helen! Hope you have a nice night! I also would go green - probably your best bet. I don't actually have a book of syns other than the one that came when I joined SW, I am just very adept at using syns online on the website! That said last week when I was at group I was thumbing through a book that had lots of syn counts for a variety of restaurant food.

Hi bubbly! Wine and croissants... mmm it sounds heavenly! Through some cheese in and I WOULD be in heaven LOL! Good attitude on the return to plan, though.

SW Chick - speaking of being adept at looking up syns I looked up both of those things but couldn't find the syns! Gaah! If you go to the SW website you can calculate the syns based on the nutritional info.

Moonchild just had a look at your recipe blog the other day. Can I just say, YUM?!?? Lots of delicious things on there to try! And out of curiosity, does anyone know a good recipe for SW tiramisu?

Hehe thanks for the congratulations, the last 4 years of being married have flown by. I'll check out the website, and see what I can find, they're selling a book on the slimming world site that I'll get to prepare for our holiday, and sneak it in my case without my hubby seeing it hehe.

Moonchild seems to be the chef amongst us, she has so many good ideas

Right, lots of work to do, time to get to it.

Wow girls, all back!!!! Lets see where to start...

Bubbly.... back. I can see that you enjoyed your holiday...mmmmmhhh sounds lovely. Read HP as well, nearly cried when it was finish (yes, i know its pathetic). Keeping my fingers crossed for you WI tomorrow, hope it won't be too bad. But the shock might be good to kick u back into gear lol.

Helen, well done on your aerobics...I have been lazy the last couple of days and didnt go to the boxing....TOM didn't really help the matter either lol.
Happy anniversary!!!! Advise on pizza express....hmmm thats a tough one...I would probably eat whatever I like and stay synfree the rest of the week....or at least try....but a tomato based pasta dish would probably be the safer bet lol.

SWC, just checked the synvalue on the website, couldn't find it, do u know who produces go ahead stuff?

Mel, thanks, I'm continuing to put them up....I tried the Pasta& Rice pie last night and it was absolutely delicious....brought the other half to work with me today. Yumm!

It's really busy here today, took me 30 mins to write this post....Still no news from the job but I know they are very busy so I'll be patient.

Oh and Sky sent me an email yesterday, with completely useless information, seems that they haven't read my complaint at all...so I replied with a bit more to the point words lol....if I don't hear anything today, I'll call them tonight.

Hey Bubbly, no havent made this particular recipe yet, but I think it will be lovely, let me know how it went.....maybe if you want to save time you could use WW Chips instead...they are 10 syns for the whole bag....

Right ladies, im off home now, I've PMS'd enough today for my colleagues to start hating me lol....will lay on the sofa with the cats, watch afternoon telly and figure out what to eat.....and I WILL NOT have any chocolate (well I try, made the Rochers last night)

Hi all,
Long time no see, Moonchild
I haven't been around 3FC for a while - since June I think!! Work has been mad and my mum hasn't been well, ended up having major op, but she's much better now and work, although still busy, is less manic. My weight loss is still going well as you can see from my ticker and I can see that you are all making excellent progress. Married life is grrrrrreat I'll try and pop in more regularly but I can only check the site in the evenings as this kind of site is banned at work Good job really, or I'd just be messing around on the internet all day instead of working! Anyway - just thought I'd say hi. Hope you all have a good rest of the week. Love FF x

Fantasic tea ...felt very indulgent!! And best of all - and no small amount of praise Moonchild I can assure you -my ten year old said next time I should make more of it!!!

Yipee...so anyone fancying cheesy chips with bacon and salsa - go for it. I used dreid chillies instead of jalpenos and added some courgetttes in with the mushrooms and bacon - scumptious!!

good job really as I need some inspiration - put on 3lb over the holiday period but as thats nearly 3 weeks - i don't think its that bad...and i really know what i've eaten ...lol

Back on the wagon again and good luck everyone with WIs this week.

Morning ladies,
FF, wow youve been gone for ages....glad to see you're losing the weight...you're nearly there!!! Glad your mom is ok and things are looking up .

Bubbly, oh thats great to hear!!!! I'm flattered, eventho it's not my recipe, I've just found it somewhere and collected it. Did you make it from scratch or did you use WW chips? And 3lb in 3 weeks? Thats not bad at all! I would have probably gained more than that....you'll have that off again in no time!

I couldn't be bothered cooking last night, so I made some cheesy toast for me and some beans on toast for Mr. Beaver....also made the SW potato scones, which were yummy surprisingly!!!! Had two of my Rochers last night, wich isnt too bad, only 2 syns and my choc craving was satisfied.....

WI day, I really hope I lost something again this week, but I feel really bloaty cause of TOM. But you just never know. So how did everyones WI go?
