I read that the other day and had a good laugh.

I'm in a good mood. I went to buy a new replica shirt for the rugby and ended up getting a junior one (£10 cheaper!) because it fit better than the adults ones

No snow day here. just a smattering.. but icy as buggery...I have to get out and salt the steps by the doors and prob the driveway, as when I let Pen and Lew out first thing, they were like Bambi on the ice...

Sarah.. that's lovely the old gent and his Mrs. And your hubs does sound so sweet... Dave did leave me a card, but I've not opened it yet...and he bought Hannah a HUGE Hershey kiss...it's in the fridge...glad he didn't buy me one, I don't like hershey chololate apart from mint flavour...and I don't need it anyway

I'll have th read the article, but will do so later as I must get on with a few bits.

Jen, watch the knee and toe.

Helen, I'd be glad to be in a boy size... well done luvey, and you should feel good about buying junior...no tax either

RSG, Hope you don't have to strike tomorrow in the aftermath of this non storm and ice. Enjoy your night tonight

Morning .

We had a forced fun day in Nashville yesterday so I didn't get to a computer. Bowling then a grilled lunch served by KFC corporate, our franchise had won a customer appreciation contest and got a day out at corp's expense. It was a good laugh, my bowling of course was sheer brilliance one minute (got a strike on my first bowl), utter crap the next.

I got a lovely Valentine's gift from DH, another set of japanese pearls. These are black and quite gorgeous. I've got my powder blue cashmere sweater on to compliment them . We're going out to eat tonight, which will be fun seeing as most places in this stupid bloody town don't take reservations.

I don't want to work today it's cold out. Oh and our goats have become parents again, two new twins. I didn't get to look at them this morning as I left before hubbie. He found out when he went to feed them, Hazel didn't even look pregnant this time! I'm calling the vet today to arrange for our billy goat, Horatio, to get the *snip*, six goats is more than enough.

Oooooooo I love baby goats.. from a distance though, they actually quite scare me close up... childhood experience :embarrassed:

Have a lovely date evening with your DH Lynne... pearls eh? Very nice indeed....

It is horrible out, I took H to school for a little while and picked her up, didn't want her driving. It's an icy rain and the wind is howling...I'm going to get the fire lit and sit in front of it and veg for a while...

Oh yes, I want hot stodgy food... and I want someone else to make it and serve me and do dishes...

Hello everyone

Glad you are all well and enjoying your St Valentines Day.

I got a MUG well I had seen it it in ASDA it said Love is Sharing and had two choccie hearts in it and I had said it was cute since I needed a mug for work, but I had also said I may go back to wearing Beautiful instead of Dolce Vita. This morning I gives himself his For my Chunky Hunk Yorkie and there was my mug no Beautiful though. Last night I wrote a post it and put it in between his sarnies for lunch. It said I love you and then I wrote something very saucy the F word being involved.
Anyways today I thinks to myself jesus he hasn't texted me about his message so I phones him and I says did you enjoy your sarnies. He says enjoy my sarnies I put one in my mouth and almost choked there was a big lump of paper in there. I had accidently put the note inside the sarnie instead of in between. So I say could you not read what it said and he says well once I had kind of scraped off the mayo he says I saw love and can you something or other!!!! What a waste of time that was eh girlies.

He is out working this evening. However when I got in the he had tidied up.

So here I am not on the Eurostar and I don't even have any choccy I might go and see if I can find his Yorkie but he will have that stashed away somewhere.

Oh and I have eaten tons today and didn't gym either.

Enjoy the rest of your evening everyone

Michele

Never mind Michele, the mug was a very nice thought and you can always use your notes in his sandwiches another day! Maybe the hint about the perfume was a bit too subtle for a man to pick up...you can never be too blunt

I have decided, after reading these posts about the lovely valentines day gifts that my priority when (not if!) I lose my weight has to be to find myself a man! I hope if you're doing anything special tonight that you all have a great time!

I have a craving for chocolate right now. None in the house though.

I've just been out for a 7.5 mile run. Far better for me than chocolates and wine

Hope you're all having fun.

Bad day for me.....hardly any kids at school and sleet all day. Went to the bar after school of course...oh well, the whole day is shot, now I'm off for dinner with the gals. Will try and not drink tonight after a bunch of pints this afternoon.

I have to go pick up a dessert, it is so nasty out.

Have a great day all, hopefully I'll be back on the track tomorrow because clearly right now I'm way off.

Hoping I don't have too many typos....
