Oooh scary!

I know a 94 year old ballet dancer who was too short to dance professionally so I think she taught. Anyways, so she stood on point for her 94th birthday, and DID THE SPLITS! MY EYES! Total respect to her! I think ballerinas nowadays are more aware of good food and nutrition but there is still a huge pressure on them to be thin so that they have the "look"

I saw that programme and thought it was pretty interesting. It also gave me a bit of a reality check in terms of what I'd have to do to get down any further from where I am now. I keep thinking I'd like to hit the nice round 8 stone mark, but my starting point isn't far from where she started (a bit taller and a bit heavier), and I'm certainly not going to do what she did.

It started snowing at about 10 here, stopped and seems to have just started again. It's not lying in the city centre, but I guess it might be further out.

Jen does NOT like ITUNES! It's taken me all morning to download the thing on DIAL UP and now I'm trying to put songs on my shuffle and I can't see what's on there and what's not and WHERE IT'S GONE and

Its still snowing here but only very gently and its now melting as it hits the ground - theres only a few white patches left where it drifted earlier in the really heavy first fall that I got caught out in.

I'm making a beef and Guinness stew for dinner (its in the slow cooker already) - real comfort food - so I'm just having some of my veg soup and a yoghurt for lunch.

I thought YP meant she wanted to be 8 stone for a minute.

I think the Louise Redknapp one is on ITV1, yes there's an article about it here.

I use itunes daily I just drag songs into the library then onto the ipod... I'm sure there's a simpler way but I like to complicate matters.

Why is Frus on dial up? Why would you do that? WHY? WHY?

I have snow but it's not settling thank god.

I just read that and I also thought Helen wanted to be 8st!

You didn't mean that, Helen.... did you? You look wonderful as you are.

I'm fairly sure she meant to have lost 8 stone in total. She's already thin, imagine her at 8 stone!

Yeah I thought the 8 stone thing too, but I presume Helen's not quite that bonkers! Running 2 10ks in a day is one thing, but 8 stone is another!

I've figured out itunes. I'm not sure what I was doing before but it seems to be ok now, and I've filled up my shuffle already. I presume I should take the quality of the files down to 128mbps but I'll see how it goes!

Frus has dial-up because she's never at home!!!! I'm only here now because of the snow! So I generally do all the internetty stuff at work.

I'm watching a really lame film that actually has Uma Thurman in it as a supporting actress and she is the best thing in it. I might watch a different film after this and a shower.

I did mean losing 8 stone, not being 8 stone, honest I'm less than half a stone away from it, and I'd like to get there, but equally I've been bouncing around between 152 - 154 for months and months and months, I'm perfectly happy here and I don't want to have to reduce what I eat to hit an artificial milestone just so I can say I've done it. Even if I do pray every time I step on the scales that I'll miraculously have dropped 4lb overnight...

(And 2 x 10k is less than a half marathon...)

I'm not sure what I'm meant to be doing tonight. My parents are meant to be coming back, but I don't know whether I'm cooking for them, whether we're eating out, whether I'm cooking for me and they're eating meat. Plus even if I am cooking, I don't know what because it depends what veggies are behind the door. The stress of it all, I like to have a plan and I clearly don't tonight!

I had beef and guinness stew - and (I'm SUCH a good girl) I divided it an hour before the end and cooked some old fashioned dumplings for DH in his half. Very tummy warming and very vegetably.

They had their stuff and I had pasta with broccoli pesto.

Does anyone have any ideas for something to do with horseradish? Or at least I think it's horseradish...

I have a hummus with horseradish in the fridge, I bought it at Trader Joes so I have no advice about to actually make such a thing, but it tastes good.

I miss running, I'm going to have to attempt it tomorrow afternoon, I'll just wear tons of clothes.

Sarah that stew sounds amazing. My brother made something similar last year for Christmas dinner it was awesome. Perfect for cold weather.
