You must look so youthful! I've never ever ever been asked for ID in my life - even when I was 15! Great when you're young, not so great now that everybody thinks I'm as old as the hills!

Hello everyone

Veggie I'd be thrilled if that happened to me. When I was young I was constantly asked for ID, but not these days. Although the girls at work say I don't look my age but I'd say they are humouring me.

Blimey what has the weather been like today. I was blown along the road this morning. Rang hubby at lunchtime he was in the back garden the fences are down and broke. One blew up in the air crashed down and broke. The rabbits are still in the garden and havent made any attempt to start a new life anywhere. I cannot get hold of them to put them in the hutch. I have just been out to see them and they are just sat on the grass eating away for themselves.

Take care everyone

Michele

OMG it's been like doomsday; HORRIBLE. The schoolrun was horrendous this morning, kids were all soaked thru bless. Then the nursery run, the wee boy I look after nearly blew away! Then I had to go out to fetch him and as soon as I walked out the front door the sun left and the rain started.......Then another schoolrun at 3 AAAAHHHHH. Mind you at least we were all ok unlike loads of people on the roads who were caught up in accidents/traffic...

It's put me in a really bad mood today this weather! hehe

Hello!

Helen - did you go to the party? I probably would've stayed at home, but then I'm miserable!

Well I got home and did my New York City Ballet workout rather than 2 hours of sweat blood and tears. No comparison really! I'm still itching to workout, so I shall run around on the dreadmill today. Actually I might go for a proper run on the pavement then go to the gym for weights and a shower That's cunning!

Food and scales are annoying me! Well it's interesting - I went up to 2000kcals for a zig-zag day and I woke up hungry for the first time in ages! Unfortunately the food I've brought for today seems to be stupidly high in calories - but I think it might've been breakfast that was higher than usual and it's a 1650 day today!

Wow they just showed the wind in London on the news over here, be careful folks it looks awful.

It's sleeting here and I have to be at work 20 minutes early for a picket, we may go on strike

I have an alochol free, cleansing weekend planned with lots of moving, time to drop the last few holiday pounds and get on track. Tonight I have dinner plans with a friend who is pregnant but were going to a healthy place and she is pregnant so there shouldn't be issues there.

Today after school a nice long run, it's going to be about 40 degrees which is my perfect running temp.

Yeah it was pretty bad out there but all my family are ok (actually I haven't checked on both brothers yet!). Wouldn't that be the dad my Dad's car was being serviced so he had to push mum in her wheelchair to the haridressers! Luckily he could collect the car before collecting mum or her 'bouffant' wuld have been a mess (she does not really have a bouffant, we just pretend she has).

I just checked my aunt as there are a load of trees in the garden at the end of her garden. The fence is down. The local authority won't deal with this and my aunt paid for a fence last time but they refused to remove any of the trees. She is glad she is moving. Last time there were big winds one of the trees in the front of her garden was right across the road!

I am off for a meal on Saturday in our local veggie Indian - (yum!) and on to the theatre to see Cymbeline. Sunday is book club day. DId not enjoy the book one bit (Twilight of the Super Heroes). Yes fab title but very boring short stories.

Jen - yes, I did go but I was very restrained and didn't drink alcohol, and only had one course while the rest had a three course meal. I was going to have the three course set menu, but there weren't any veggie options I liked on it so I just had the one course. It was a lot cheaper too just having what I ate, which meant I had the excuse to go and spend the extra I'd put aside for the meal on running stuff this lunchtime The good side of it is that I felt like I was eating less because I wanted to, not because I couldn't afford it or didn't like stuff on the menu (because the veggie stuff was cheaper I could have had three courses from the a la carte for roughly the same price as the set menu but I just didn't fancy eating that much).

Even better, I was in a fit state to run this morning, about 4 miles on the treadmill. I feel so much better than if I'd stuffed myself and drunk too much.

I'll be having quiet ones tonight and tomorrow, I need to clean/tidy the house before my parents arrive, and I've got a half on Sunday so I don't want to do too much tomorrow evening. Then I'm probably going for lunch with some running people on Sunday after the race. Hopefully it won't be too windy or cold...

Ooh Stratford, I must get round to going back there at some point.

I made myself eat broccoli and cabbage tonight in a stir fry, without even blending them into a soup I'm getting there with the few remaining veg that used to be a stumbling block.

I'm now just working out what carbs I'm going to eat. if it's a half marathon on Sunday, it must be bread and cake day on Saturday I'm not going to drink anything until after the race though, I'm determined I'm going to have a good race and I'm taking it far more seriously than normal! (Nothing to do with wanting to beat someone from running club, honestly...)

Hi girls Hope you're all safe and sound with the horrid weather over there. We're forecast high winds for tomorrow and a nasty wind chill to go with it, but not anything like 99mph gusts that have been back home. Hope you're all faring ok with it and are staying in doors.

Broccoli and cabbage hey Helen, two of my favs Well done for getting over that stumbling block.

Nice looking bike Jen... when do you get it?

Not to much going on here with me really...the weekend is approaching and we have nothing planned....just staying put in front of the telly I suppose....what an exciting life eh?
