I'm still motorbikey shopping! keep selling them all out from underneath me!

Had a nice kickbox last night, came home and Mr Tesco came and brought me food. Unfortunately it seems I didn't order that much fruit or veg but I have apples, bananas and a bag of salad and some tinned pineapples. I'll cope! He missed one item off my list too Good job I checked the list this morning!

Me needs more sleepies.

Hello from binge central. I don't know what's up with me at the moment, but there's some sort of fatal attraction going on between me and chocolate. Or indeed me and anything else I can stick in my mouth. Not good.

Last night I had to lock myself upstairs away from the fridge after demolishing an obscene amount of Spanish marzipan based treats, but tonight I'm out at running club so might be a bit safer.

I'm trying to resist as best as I can, or otherwise just hope that it's a phase that will pass shortly... Or if not, at least I can call it carb loading for Sunday and I've signed up for two more half marathons over the next few months to help burn it all off! I'm also considering a 20 miler in March, and I've just found a 5 miler in Cardiff for the weekend I'm down there anyway, so that should make me run and not be totally lazy while I'm away. Oh, the joys of marathon training.

I hope to have lost tomorrow, mostly as I have had hardly any money for food for a week. I had 4 leftover soggy Xmas bics yesterday I was so hungry.

That's not all I had, it's not that bad!

Yay, I had a really good run tonight. I ran with the FAST group

kind of.

We usually split into three groups but tonight not many people turned up because of the weather, so we split into two - and I went with the faster half of the middle group and the fast group - and I kept up! Well, kind of. I kept up to half way, then the faster ones decided to do a longer route but I'm trying to save myself for my half on Sunday so I went back the shorter route with the others, and was first back. My speed suddenly seems to be returning!

Yes I completely agree - it's the chocolate that made you run fast, not the speed sessions on the treadmill!

I've put a deposit down on Mr Bikey (must think of a good name for it...). I rode all the way to this little place out in the sticks West of Reading and that took just over 2 hours, so cue numb bum! Then I took one look at the bike and it was so clean and un-rusted you could eat your dinner off it! (It's 8 years old!) It's got full service history, is spanking clean and only about as many miles as the clock as I've managed to put on mine in 18 months! Plus I got £700 for my bike, which was less than I wanted, but come to think about it I actually got a great deal since my bike is less than mint condition now and looking a little rusted and worn in places.

So I didn't get to the gym yesterday because I was replacing the indicator on my current bike at lunch, then after work I rode to this guy's house and back - didn't get home till 10pm, so not really much time for any cardio! I suppose I should've dragged DH to do a dance video My legs are aching today though - oh it's painful riding that silly little bike for so long!

Well if I feel up to it today I will go to the gym at lunch, then I have 2 hours of kickboxing, but no lesson on Saturday, so I will be able to take it relatively easy at the weekend
