The piano arrived this morning at 10. I have been playing from the books I used when I was 6 years old.34 years later and it all came back to me tickety boo.The kids were mighty impressed! LOL!

Storm here today. Did a lot of shovelling.

Just a quickie today. I'm on a plane tonight to go home for the weekend. They tell me it is and has been raining hard up there. Pick up the cat tomorrow and DS2 comes to stay on Monday. Guess I better get some food in for him.

Ceejay, glad the biopsy is over for you. They aren't the most pleasant things but then again neither is the boob squish that Tig had. The things we have to do!!!!

Holly, play something soothing to the soul! I need a bit of a let up here. Some people seem to think I am bright. Yikes. Little do they know!!!

Okay. More rivetting posts tomorrow. Should have an orchid out when I get home if the rain and wind has sent them to the next block, next parish or the next world.

Holly--I knew you would not forget how to play. Play a song for me.

Shad Have a good week end. Yep, I've had that dreaded boob squish also.
Physical should now be completed. Just checked my thyroid meds and I'll have to have it refilled next week. Always something.

Happy--Where are you? Have I been missing you posts.

PW-- where are you?

Hello to Mel, tig, meadow and the rest

I'm getting ready to go to Paraguld this week end to visit with the aunt and uncle.

Did something different today!!!!! I decided that I didn't like all this gray/white hair. Got rid of it today by having my hair high lighted. Also got my hair trimmed. It looks so much better. Also saw three ex co-workers today. I knew who they were but had to be told their names.

Gotta run.

Strewth, we are a quiet lot at the moment aren't we?

Still it happens from time to time and we never seem to lose touch completely. It's probably a touch of winter hibernation up there in the frozen north. We are sitting here in the wet south glorying in the sight of water on this dry land.

Came home last night on a very noisy , bumpy flight. The young lad in the window seat barfed in the bag from about halfway. The guy in front drunk himself to oblivion and the flight got in late. Just the normal Friday flight.

So here I am, just got out of bed, made the coffee and there is literally nothing to eat for breakfast in this house. Better do some shopping today when I go to do the errands (new contact lenses, pick up the cat, find the brother). The weight is still down at 71.5 this morning despite the pizza (so not worth the fat or the money) for lunch yesterday. So maybe this is the new 72!??? I'll do a gym routine this afternoon and tomorrow as well. Of course tomorrow I have to ring Mel to sort out the doings for the next month or so. In between there is painting to be done and a list of things for the electrician - if I can find one to do the work. Domestic tradies are few and far between right now thanks to the govt handling of new apprenticeships and trainees or should I say lack of handling.

Ceejay - the hair sounds good. Glad you've got all the personal maintenance out of the way for the next year or so. Is'nt it hard to remember the names of people you haven't seen in years but you know that you know them.

Okay, things to do, places to go. I'd better get on with it.

I am very snotty, I have a cold and a cough. My lips and nose are red, dry and sore. The puppy keeps me busy cleaning up accidents which make my head go woozie because of the congestion I bought "Harvey" the Jimmy Stewart/Pooka movie, always makes me laugh and feel great affection for those with imagination enough to believe.

Shad-glad you got home safe. Hugs to Sunday. I hope your son cuddles her lots while you are off earning her food money. Did your orchid survive the weather?

Mel-I do adore the library. I think I am single handedly upping their stats I picked up five videos, three books and cassette collection of Debbie Ford's "The secret of the shadow" She likens life to a cake mix and some of us have lumps my kind of therapy.

Holly-are you playing some Scott Joplin ragtime, funky music? come on, let us know what you tinkle on those keys. I hope you are feeling joyful and letting yourself flow.

Ceejay-sounds like very nice hair pampering. I don't trust hairdressers, shh, don't tell Holly...but with natural curly hair I am just as capable of chopping it up as they are

Where is the rest of the chicks? Come out and fill us in on how it is going. Venting and kvetching totally okay.

Meadow, I apologize for giving you my cough and cold. I should have used antibacterial soap on my mouse and keyboard. Drat. Hope you are better soon.

Thank you Tig, I should have washed my hands more and sprayed disinfectant around when the kids came home with the sniffles. I always seem to be the last to get the bug.

I'm glad you are feeling better. Now we don't have to worry about you falling off the bike during those trips out for breakfast this weekend

Cool A Sinfully Sunny Saturday

Meadow I certainly hope the splatttt wasn't a sneeze Hope you ferel better soon!! Jen and I tried to help our library bring up it's numbers when they were under renno. It really worked. We borrowed 80 items a piece a month! Get well soon!!

Shad~ ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ hope they are sweet dreams

Tig~ was that you I heard coughing last night??? Hope you are feeling better also! How goes the job??

Red....as they said...pull up a chair and set a spell. Tell us a little about yourself if you care to share. Shad usually puts our bio's up when someone new wanders in. Nice to meet you.

I must get going. I promised myself that I would take all the cooking time I am saving and actually DO something constructive with it other than watch DVDs!!!
Happy Saturday everyone!!!!
Saying hello to our loved but missing Chicklettes!!

Love to the chickies!!!

Trying to be positive.
I just took the first bath in my lovely new soaker tub in the bathroom upstairs. It was devine!!!!
My sinuses have cleared!!yippee.

Hubby's cousin was in the area so stopped( with her kids) by last night while i was in the city. I was really wanting to come home and be alone and relax but they were up have a few beers. So I had a glass of wine and went to bed.
So kids are running everywhere by 7am, hubby's dear cousin NEVER stops talking. By 9 am I thought me head would explode  . Anyhow, My very tidy house is messy. I will finish the church news letter this morning.
1 load in washer.

Time for a coffee!

The bath was PERFECT!!! The tub has been in with no running water for 2 years!! I had to dust it regularly.LOL! I am thankful and happy.
