Morning all,
Today I find myself with a mouse which works and doesn't keep scrolling up and down the page constantly. Ever tried catching up with the page as it goes up and down. There's the bit I want - just down there oh oh up there, oh oh over there. Such fun.

Carla - Bruce funnily enough is one of the brothers names. When we first came over here, there weren't too many Bruce's or David's and every time I met one he was a Kiwi. Someone asked me once if everyone male in NZ was called Bruce or David. I said no, but my brothers were Bruce and David. That sort of cracked the party up.
They tell me that if you remember the sixties you weren't really THERE. Well I was there all right, let me tell you, and I (cringe, cringe) remember it very well.

Ceejay - sorry to hear that you are still not well. Hurry up and get back into the swing of it.

Meadow, hope you had a wonderful birthday and are still celebrating it. We need a list of pressies as well.

Happy - doubt whether you would have found Wollongong on any spell check, but I'm sure the good people will forgive you since most of them can't spell it anyway. I do my Body Balance class from memory mostly and add in a whole raft of abs exercises to round out the 35-40 minutes. I should really walk in the mornings as well since there are too many people around doing the daily exercise after 5.00pm. Next week I might try the Rockpool on the foreshore. It seems very popular in the afternoons. It may need to warm up maybe??? I'll see if I can get some photos next week for you all. I didn't bring the camera down this week. Too many other things to think of.

Mel - Uniforms??? No - all you'll see around here are coal black miners mostly. Actually the place is full of Kiwis. This office I am sitting in today has 3 others. We're thinking of calling it Kiwi Corner. I see NZ tee shirts being worn all around the place. Still haven't tried to see if Kiwi Annie is in town or not. Thanks for yesterday's hug. I needed that.

Right - off before I get into trouble here. There is a North Island, South Island argument going on. Since I am the lone Southerner, I must defend the mainland.

I'm back. Today I think we should ALL be called Bruce!!

Shad ~ you are working with people who are sane?? What's that like? Good work on keeping up your exercise in a new environment. I think I like happy's spelling better. It's more vowels that a person should have in a word - sort of like anti-Welsh.

Happy ~ whoohoo, it might be Meadow's B-day, but that is a nice gift to us all. Shad is right you can't really expect spell check to work on a town name (especially that town name). On an odd note, I found out the Gretzky is in the Microsoft Word spell check. What does that say about the world?

Ceejay ~ Glad you are back. There is a town called Santa Claus? I love weird named places. Hope you feel better soon. Stress is never good for the immune system. Be kind to yourself.

Mel ~ Why are people so illogical? Did the silly woman think your neck only hurt when you answered the door?

Carla ~ There is something odd that happens when you put on a dress and it just starts to humm away to you. I think that is what happened to me. I don't think I'm going to keep the dress afterwards though. There is a charity here in town that takes dresses and resells them to raise money to send kids with cancer to camp. I'm going to ask them if they would like to have mine when I am done with it. BTW, does anyone know if there is a way to turn up a formal hem without having to cut off the excess material? I'm short and the dress would have a better "resale" if I could leave it longer.

And Mel, yeah what Carla said… How did you get that note?

Took the day off work and did a bunch of wedding stuff. We have the place, the officiant, the dread dress, and, now, the wedding rings. Met with the caterers. Looked at paper for the invites. I am almost at the point where I can put this baby on cruise control – EXCEPT TB can't find his Final Divorce Decree and without that we can't get the license. I jokingly asked him if he was sure he really was divorced… He was NOT amused. No big deal. Is he really going to freak out like this every time anything minor goes wrong? . Geez they say Brides get uptight before the wedding. He just has to apply to get a certified copy from the court. Why are men such babies?

At least he found out now that he has lost the durned thing. Think what it would be like 5 weeks out from the wedding.

As for hems, take it to a specialist hemming place and explain the problem. I think there is a way of invisible hemming (as long as you aren't taking it up a foot or more) Why did I always think you were quite tall???

Hi gang
I can honestly say that I am feeling better. I was both mentally and physically exhausted.

MadCat--Yes there is a town/city called Santa Claus. I want to say it was in Indiana. Hope TB does find that divorce decree soon.

Mel--Thanks for the "bug hug" yesterday. I was still contagious then so wash your hands.

Hello to Holly, Carla and Shad and Meadow.

Today I'm awake and am feeling like I can go a few more miles than yesterday. I'm a little disappointed in my doc and am thinking very seriously about not using him at all anymore. My white blood count was up yesterday and he did not give me any antibotics. So today I'm going to call the ear nose and throat doc to see if he'll give me something for this sinus infection and ask him about taking allegraD.

I need to run some errands today also. While I was in Kentucky, my 401k money came in the mail. I'm going to pay off the credit cards and put the rest into an IRA. I was counting the Rav4, which is a debit, but I don't mind making a monthly payment on that.

Tonight is my night to call my oldest sister who lost her son this pas week end.

Good news is that during my sick spell I'l lost down to 181. I don't want to go back uphill so I'm starting my ediets menu's again today.

woohoooo.....
Morning!!
Feeling good so far. DS and I are having a nice morning. DD is in bed with DH cuddling so no chaos down here!!!

6 kids all day. I may get out for a bit cause DH is home and I have a VAN!!! Hit the open road. Drive into town and buy milk. Oh the madness of it all!!!!

I had the scoots all day yesterday. Darn kids sharing again.

I have been feeling tired of people, like it is just too hard to try and communicate and deal with their stuff, my stuff etc.
I would love to have 2 days to myself in my home.I want to refinish a steamer trunk.
MY kids are going to my folks for 2 days during March break. I may take a holiday from daycare. In fact I will.
Oh, I am relaxing already.

Avon calls to make. Shower to be had.

Naw, Shad, I'm just wee - by driver's licence has me listed at 160cm. But funny, people say that to me all the time. Maybe I just sound bigger than I am???

Holly you should take that time off and have a couple of days to do what you want to do. The silence would be golden and everyone needs a vaca now and again. People can be tiring.

Ceejay ~ hang onto those lost pounds.

Later Chicks. Love to everyone else...

I think a cold is trying to catch me. That Ceejay can really sneeze far
I received some great presents. An easel and new paints, canvases, tshirts, shorts, cinammon foot creams, two puzzles, new slippers and lots of magazines to curl up with. My mother in law made me a cake (from a mix) so I only had one piece but it was very kind of her to make the effort. Some people like mix cakes, I can taste the preservatives, I've always make stuff from scratch. Just one of my quirks

Mel-you are lovely to have remembered my birthday. Thank you for all the lovely animated pictures and colourful wishes. I think you need to get an electric forcefield to ward off these people who don't respect your boundaries. It scares me to think these people are scratching at your door and not making any effort to make other arrangements when you are under the weather. They have been relying on you for too long, time for them to refocus. Did you let this lady's person in? I can't wait to see the Easter crafts. I adore bunnies

Happy-It was wonderful of you to post a pic of AB here for me, thank you! He does brighten up the place We has a foot of snow today. Can I send you down some more white stuff

Shad-congratulations on everything going so well, knock wood *I knocked on a picture frame, the only wood close by Terrific to hear you have some old buddies in the mix and the cranky people haven't crawled out from their cubicles to mess with the good vibes. Wollongong sounds like a very nice part of Australia, I hope you have some nice excursions checking out the new work city. You never know who, what, where you might meet, see, go!

Madcat-Hooray! The dress has found you! My sisters made my dress, yellow eyelet with purple and yellow crinolens. I looked like a big candy. I hope all the other details fall into place and that elusive document flutters down off of the top of the closet or top shelf it is hiding on

Holly-Nothing wrong with going internal for awhile and not wanting to deal with the vibrations other people radiate at us. You take some "me" time. I had many lovely things from Avon for my birthday. The slippers I am now wearing are the yellow ones with the blue embroidered kitty on them. The foot cream is the cinammon stuff from Avon Good products

Carla-are you smiling? How was the Monty Python? Was it as funny as you remembered? I still can't hear horses running without seeing coconut shells. And whenever someone says a bird is dead in a cage, I hear, "no he's not, he's just asleep" Love those guys.

Ceejay-glad to hear you are feeling more energetic and that you are taking charge and seeking out some proper medical advise. If you don't trust your doctor, well hey, yeah, you got to find someone better.

Hello chicks of the World! What did you do today?

an afternoon update:

Hi Nae

Holly--You deserved those 3 days off. Enjoy them.

Mel-- eDiets gave me an option of uping my calories this morning when I weighed. 1400--1500 I like this range.

This afternoon has been filled with errands but they have all been completed.
The best part about it is that 2 credit cards have been paid in full. YIPPEE.

I haven't been of sound mind this week in making judgment calls so disregard that about the dr.

I haven't even had a nap this afternoon.

Morning all,

Quick and dirty this morning. I'm trying to get another course outline finished before I go home for the weekend, and I'll be able to post a long one on Saturday morning (my time)

Italian holiday for later in year is cancelled! Now thinking of other places to go and things to do.

Nae, good to see you back.

Gotta run. Meetings - you gotta love 'em
