THE HIP PAIN HAS DISAPPEARED. I AM NOT COMPLAINING THE GOVT IS TRYING TO TELL ME THEY GAVE ME $106.48 TOO MUCH LAST YEAR AND WANTS IT BACK ASAP. WTF! I GAVE THEM MY PAY STUBS LAST YEAR AND THIS YEAR. JUST BECAUSE THEY HAVE STOPPED RECERTIFYING IS NOT MY FAULT. TO TELL THE TRUTH, I THOUGHT THEY DID TAKE IT OUT AND MAKE CHANGES LAST JANUARY WHEN I SENT IT IN. Good morning ladies,

Not much new in my corner of the world. We had a big staff meeting yesterday - all groups that report up to the director. I received an employee recognition award. The boss stood up and said she has recieved a number of emails and phone calls from the people I support saying very complimentary things about my work ethics and the service I give to them. It was totally unexpected and very nice I got a small gift certificate but it's the thought that counts.

I'm supposed to have a meeting with some members of the homeowners association tomorrow. I have a feeling that perhaps only 2 or 3 people out of 12 will actually show. People just don't care anymore - makes me wonder why we don't just give up and cancel the whole thing due to lack of interest. But I will put on a smiley face and clean my house for them anyway. I probably won't get back here until Sunday. Have a good weekend all.

The HUGE, gaping holes in my bathroom walls that have been there ALL of DD’s (5.5 years)life are covered in drywall. It is a major gift and blessing!!!! DH put in a light fixture and an outlet too!!!! IS it possible the room will be completed??????

Enjoyed Dancing with ther Stars too. Drew gets my vote. Loved the cowboy routine.

Did NOT over eat yesterday. I desperately wanted to munch while watching tv last night. I had a small bowl of cereal and stopped at that!!!!!!!! No cheese, no crackers, no chips, no plate of leftovers.............

And we wonder why our young people have their priorities all wrong. Well the answer to that one stems from the top. Too many gimmes at the top and not enough of the performing a public service. Right well, The trip to Italy is off because C is not getting better as quickly as she had hoped and feels that she would not be able to walk the distances required and doesn't feel like spending money to sit in a car or hotel room however old and however grand (hotel not car). Since that particular destination involved a huge amount of walking (no cars in Venice only vaporetto or gondola) she has reluctantly decided against it. I've given a couple of alternate choices and we are thinking about it, but I suspect that wherever it is, I will be going alone and hoping that she is well enough for next year. So I am radically changing plans - lucky we hadn't booked anything.

So, that's about it I think. Time to go paint some doors, wander out into the garden. Hang out the washing and get the day underway.

i finally got the planning permission for my fence and to pull down the old metal washing poles and to put in the new raised beds to block the back of the garden from little {ha ha ha }feet and fingers........................................... .................................................. ..sorry had to give thug his bottle he only takes 5 ounces at a time but he takes 10 or 11 bottles a day hes gonna be a big one he takes all those bottles and solids tonight he had steamed cod with steamed potatoes and garden peas all liquidised sa i was saying the house has no storage space what so ever so we are putting up two very large sheds at the back of the garden one for all andys tools which includes one very large table saw and on for storage i.e bikes and stuff so weve decieded to put a lock box for all the dodgy chemicals and stuff to so well keep thug well away from that area
were all feeling so much better now if theses blooming teeth would just make an appearance???????? oh has anyone any tips on how to stop my little darling from being up every 2 hours for a bottle during the night im knackered?????

Mel-- I know now that the govt can't handle the budget. he he. Glad the hip is better today also. Yes, it is a good feeling to have debt cancellation with my own money and some put away for a rainy day. I'm hoping by the end of 2006 that the Rav4 will be paid for in full also.

Holly--No gaping holes in the DD's bathroom must be a delight. I also like Dancing with the Stars. Drew has done excellent during the whole show. Jerry Rice has really improved.

Shad--Yes, I'm on the mend. Went back to the doctor and this time got the shot and antibotics which were needed. Didn't really know how sick I was that day and out spreading my germs too. Hope the woman city council member didn't catch it. I talked to her for awhile in Walmart.

I am soooooo happy it is Saturday!!!!!!!! I slept til 8. I am doing what I normally do( having coffee reading/posting) but there is no expectation of rushing kids in and out of the house etc!!!!

HUGE wind here this morning but no snow.

DS played a great game last night, won 4-1. He plays today at 1pm.After I will take the kids and go to the city after and run errands and go to my Grandma's for dinner( pick up chicken) and then do here hair.
This morning I will clean the main floor and do laundry.

Yeah !!! It is the weekend!!!!!!!!

Yes it is the week-end. Yippee. I'm thinking about getting outside today to enjoy some fresh air and clean the Rav4. I would also like to have ths house cleaned before I go back to work tomorrow also. But I'm not wonder woman. I feel better but I'm not going to push myself back to where I was at the first of the week.

Guess it's time to get up and get started. The past couple of weeks has my body off of its daily schedule. Just hope I can remember to set the alarm for work in the morning.

We have a new addition to the family. A puppy, we think he is border collie. He has the white feet, face and tail tip, all the rest of him is black. He has a bit of pink showing at the top of his nose and he has freckles. My hands are all scarred up, his teeth are like the thorns of blackberry bushes. We figure he is about two months old. He will have to go to the vets next week and have a proper check up. His name is Bo but I have a feeling he is going to believe his name is Bo-no I haven't gotten much sleep the last few days because I've been staying up with him to make sure he doesn't chew any chords or furniture. We have a cage for him to spend his nights in now till he grows up a bit and stops teething

I have been feeling burned out today. After supper i went down to my friend/neighbour/hairdressers for the chunky copper/brown colour thing!! Feelin at least 38 in stead of my real age of 40 LOL!!

I didn't do the dishes last night. I went to bed to reflect on life.No geat epiphanies but I know I was feeling better about our home when I was following my control journal regularily. I just need to do it.
At my GF's last night I asked why her home was so tidy. She has been at payroll all day, hubby home with 2 kids,she has home day care all week. She said she brought home take out(so didn't cook) and cleaned for an hour before I came. i asked, did you clean just for me? She said(shocked) yes! Also the kids are not allowed to play in the main living areas, just in their rooms.

In the same circumstances I would have come home and cooked supper, done the dishes and sat with a tea til she came over.

I set my alarm this morning to be up before everyone for some alone time.
Before church at 11:30 I will clean the diningroom and wash the pots and pans.

It is a nice day out so far. I will go to the city after church, run errands, pick up supper and go to my Grandma's.

Good Morning Worldly Chicks. I hope your day is starting out as sunny as mine is. Gotta love the rays!! Especially when it's 19* out. Last night was a busy one. spent time in the office with one worker then the rest of the night with the kids and a friend on the phone. Fell into bed and slept like a log. Think I will read today or something equally lazy and do wash tomorrow. Sounds like a plan to me!

PW~ I used to use a friends tape made by Richard simmons called STRETCHING TO THE CLASSICS. Some sitting and some standing stretches are in there. At the time, I found it a great way to start without killing oneself.
