Hello everyone,
One of our cats died last night. She was the only cat that ever adopted us. She hung around outside, crying at the windows, sitting on the car roof and peering at us, till we invited her in. We have had her for over 10 years, though I have no sense of time, I thought it was only 6 years, till my husband and I started reminising about her... don't know how old she was. Her name was Brownie, she was a beautiful tortoise shell tabby. She was a lovely, friendly cat. I knew when she stopped eating that she was fading. I've had a few cats who died of old age. She had a seizure. I was patting her when she let out her last little gasps of air. We are all in tears and are going to bury her out under the rosebush in my garden.
I am so sorry to hear that
Teel is in the hospital! I hope they can assist her in her recovery from this "ginae" unknown ailment, hopefully all the tests have shown them the way and she will be home soon.
Thank you
Linus for being our ears on this, it isn't nice to be in the dark. What does good enough mean? Adequate? Feeling content? Ready to punch a wall if one more person asks a dumb question?
Hey
Mel! You little Christmas angel you. How fabulous. Making Christmas ornaments... I used to love making porcupine star balls and gluing glitter all over them. I should get some of those make your own ornament kits, I could make them with the kids and we could make a tradition out of it. Glue and glitter... Whee!
Rose, spray painting a dead tree... what is that about? What kind of group does that? Tree recycling? I hope you get lessons on the gun if you get one, they are dangerous and if you have one in your hand leveled at an intruder you had better know how and be prepared to pull that trigger because if they get it away from you... well, be careful.
Shad that getting only half the keychains in the right design sucks, I hope the vendor was understanding and allowed the exchange with no trouble. I think markets are a wonderful place to stroll and enjoy the different displays, I usually buy something I don't need just because it is pretty or whimsical, just can't resist. Watch out for the fried food vendors though, I remember being at a market in Florida once and they had these doughnut type things called "funnel cakes" dusted with cinnamon and sugar... slurp!
