Day 11
- Alcohol in moderation (max 1 glass on weekdays, 3 on weekends): no pauses left
- NO junk food: 1 of 3 pauses left
- 30 min of activity/day: 2 of 3 pauses left

The hubby and I had our last date anniversary yesterday before it gets replaced with a wedding anniversary. So in our celebrations we had a few glasses of wine. The good news is that we were still active and didn't eat any junk food! But it means I still had to take a pause day. Hmmmm... I'm going to have to go the next 10 days being realllly good with my alcohol.

Angeline, April_showers, Miriam, Brown eyed Staccie, WELCOME!!!:D

Unwanted, you're doing great as always! Keep it up

Red, you've almost reached 21 days! congrats! then what happens???

Saramommy, I hear you on the Easter treats. Luckily I've been able to get rid of pretty much everything in my house. Wishing willpower your way!

Angeline, You're off to a good start

Miriam, sorry to hear about the not-too-good news. But we're here for you!

Staccie, ah yes, planning. I'm a compulsive list maker... do you think i could possibly remember bringing them with me though? nope!

April, keep it up!

Miriam, the water would have been a tough one for me about a year ago but now my throat is parched if I don't drink at least 8-10 cups a day. My wedding is at a golf club and we'll have about 110 people. It's fairly casual but in beautiful surroundings. I just confirmed our flowers today and was thrilled to be able to get them for just under $300 vs. the $825 that we were quoted by a couple other places. (just hung up phone so it happened to be on my mind while typing)

Talking I'm done!!!!!!

Heh all, I finished my challenge! Today was Day 21 and I had my apple and yesterday had one too. So, that's it!! Hurrah!

**************

April -- You're looking good! Congrats on a successful Day 2!

unwanted -- Wow, you're two weeks down! Keep it going!

prepping -- Is it already 12 days?!?! My, how time flies when you're....when you're doing all the work! prep, I don't know what I'll do next. I'm doing pretty well all over, well, kind of, but I'd like to hit some new areas, maybe not directly weight or food related, more exercise or even cleaning again. And I may do another round of either apples, or something along those lines, easy to do, yet requiring planning.

miriam -- Welcome back!! Glad to have you with us again. Too bad about the Celiac. I guess that means you'll be cutting out the gluten, right?

angeline -- How are you doing? I see you had two days done already! Way to go!! Those are tough challenges! Power to you.

Staccie -- Welcome! How's it going? Don't be shy!

Apple -- Where are you?!?!?!

Smile hmmm.....what to do next?

unwanted -- Hi there. Thanks for the congrats! You've put the pressure on with your questions! Hmm, I hadn't thought about it, but I guess I'll have to. I really like the apple challenge but I know that I still won't do it without a challenge. You think I would. I guess I could, but then I may as well do it. I don't know. Let me think about it and mull below.
How is your walking going? It is walking, right, the 5K? Heck, it would have to be. I can't imagine anyone jogging or running 5 K every single day! You've really shown resolve. What's your story?

Sara -- Oh, too bad on your exercise challenge. But, heck, nothing is really lost. That's the spirit, getting right back into it. Good for you!! And look at you on the other two, nearly done and they must have been tough ones. Excellent going!

Mulling time here....
I have to admit that I've been smoking recently and, in a way, it's worse than last year, though not in quantity, but in quality or lack thereof. Last year I was out drinking a lot, well, not drinking so much, but out a lot and those times I was smoking a LOT. But, I never smoked, except on rare occasions, when I wasn't drinking. Now, however, that has changed. I'm not going out drinking much but I am smoking here and there, every day. I don't like it. I don't need it, but I do it, and I don't even know why. I guess, like with so much, it's just a skewed, warped way I have of "dealing with" the questions and dilemmas, the lacks in my life.
But, I tell you, last night took the cake. I had a dream in which I was looking for a place to smoke. Now that ticks me off! I quit smoking about 15 years ago and never touched one and the reason I could stop back then is because, as a chain smoker, I was angry that the cigarettes were controlling me. When they start infiltrating my dreams, it's time we parted ways.
And so, I am going to bite the bullet and declare no smoking, NO pauses, this is it. I have a lot of cigs and I'm going to throw them away or give them away. I am angry!
So, that's one of the challenges and I'm starting it right now, Sunday, April 19.

NO Smoking Challenge -- Day 0 completed, NO pauses allowed

lol my story .... i just enjoy walking and running/jogging. I just love the feeling of my legs' muscels. I dont know its like a drug to me lol... I decided i want to learn to run. My goal is to jog 5K. So i found this web site on line that teaches you to do it. It takes 9 weeks.
Week 1 was when i walked 1 1/2 mins then ran for 1 min entire distance.
I am on week 2 - its when walk for 2 mins and jog for 1 1/2 mins.
On monday it will be different type of mins for me. More jogging then walking. I hope i can do it
I am very motivated
I normally walk 3.7 mph and jog 5mph

Day 4 complete,
Breakfast, B12, Vit D

HEY RED!!!
Congrats on finishing the challenge! Love the picture you added, LOL
Good luck on the smoking challenge! That sounds tough - but I can relate to doing it with no pauses - I myself need just a leeeeetle bit of whatever to get sucked into it again fully,
And CELIAC SUCKS! LOL Pardon the language, I guess for weight loss it might be a little bit of a boost, but passing a specialty bakery after work and realizing... never again... is a bit much for me. I like to make the choice to have something or not have something, and I know this sounds like some spoiled brat comment - but I don't like being told "Never again."

Prepping (do you have an easier name? LOL) - how are you doing towards your april 25th goal? I should really reevaluate and make mini-goals again. Been off the wagon for awhile. Only good thing about that is the "beginning-of-weight-loss-whoosh-from-water-weight". Wedding plans sound lovely! What's your flower of choice? What are you doing for your bouquet?

Sara - only 1 day left for the fast food challenge! woohoo! What type of exercise are you doing?

April - how goes it? Hope you're doing well!

Unwanted - can I just call you 37?? unwanted sounds so unfriendly! WTG on your jogging! I did a little bit of running last night - I went out for a walk last night and came to a spooky street and then ran the whole street! LOL
