Shachi in earlier years. Still doesn't look any different though in a face shot. Sorry, people, you know how it is.... Shachi means "killer whale" in Japanese...because of his coloring.

Apple is cut and packed!

Day 13 Completed !!
Stayed within my points, used a few bonus points on a small bag of cheesies and some chocolate, I had the points for it but I feel guilty for eating it when I havent eaten any junk in 16 days But tomorrow is another day and I will use my points wiser, better to just get it out of my system now than waiting and binging later.

Exercised 30 mins on treadmill and 30 mins weight training

I MISSED THE GYM sniff sniff...

I made it through my 1st easter dinner perfectly good! I treated it like a normal dinner and ignored any not-so-appropriate foods. The only treat i had was the tiniest little bite of a Reese chocolate bunny. And then i gave the rest of it to my fiance *willingly*!

Day 9 and still going!
- Alcohol in moderation (max 1 glass on weekdays, 3 on weekends): 2 of 3 pauses left
- NO junk food: 2 of 3 pauses left
- 30 min of activity/day: 3 of 3 pauses left

red, killer whale is a very appropriate description! I love names that you don't normally come across. My siamese is Khao (pronounced "K-O") because i opened up an atlas to Thailand, where siamese originated. Of course i find out years later that it's pronounced "cow". oops!

Caleighsmommy, you're doing great! WTG on resisting temptation and working out!

Unwanted37, wowza fitness woman! you are certainly an inspiration! keep it up

Day 9 of 3 miles complete.... i did my 5K today (3.1 miles) with 39:27 time normally when i practice 3 miles it takes me 44 min so i KNOW i did all i could this time.
When i ran/walked, i was so tired at times, my brain was telling me to just walk, while my muslels could still go. So i started consentrating on my muscels and then those were telling me to quit running but my brain kept telling me to go... it was very confusing lol

Cool going strong....

Let's see. Sorry to have not been posting. Just got away from it. But, I HAVE been eating my apples. Hurrah!

I'm finishing up Sunday here...Happy Easter! to all who celebrate it. Oh, and belated Passover greetings to those who celebrate Passover.
I hope you all didn't indulge in too much Easter candy! That's pretty tempting to all! Eggs are OK though! This is one holiday that has not caught on in any way here, so I have escaped the you know what!

Day 15 on Apple Challenge completed!!

**************

unwanted -- You're looking good! Don't let that brain confuse you! Your muscles are doing fine, I'm sure.

Sara -- Wow, Sara, great save on the Easter dinner. No dessert and your own dressing. Now that is awesome. Dressing is such a waste of calories. I mean, who doesn't pour a lot on and that can be 400-500 calories easily! You even got your exercise in despite going to a dinner? Good for you!

prepping -- You too! Excellent work on the Easter dinner. I read that Khao means "mountain." Is that so? Why did you call your cat Khao though, was it the name of the town you opened the atlas to? Thanks for the compliment on Shachi. He has been an absolute dear cat. A really special cat and I have had a great many cats. But Shachi is super intelligent and affection loving. In fact, he and another (Nozomi) are more like dogs I think. My other one now, Momo, is very catlike, i.e. she ignores me mostly.

Caleigh -- Wow, what is all this resistance?! Amazing stuff going on over there on Easter Sunday. Keep it up people!! Shachi is still hanging on, Caleigh. Thanks for mentioning him.

Today (Easter celebrations again) I was naughty I ate some chocolate and didn't exercise. I'm halfway through my exercise challenge with no more pauses...YIKES!!! I will be working hard this week to make up for my "food mistakes" this weekend. I hope the rest of you had a more successful weekend than I.

Challenge:

Exercise everyday: Day 12 no pauses left

No desserts: Day 13 - 1 pause left

No bad fast food: Day 14 - completed - 2 pauses left

Thumbs up 5 more to go...

Cleared Day 16 on the Apple Challenge!

**************

Sara -- If that's all you did or didn't do on Easter, then you're still good in the game! Don't let your 12 hard days of work (and 13 and 14) go to waste and have to start over (though they really aren't going to waste). It helps to form new habits to continue on. I know. The apple thing is getting easier! Good luck!

Still on Day 9... :s
- Alcohol in moderation (max 1 glass on weekdays, 3 on weekends): 1 of 3 pauses left
- NO junk food: 1 of 3 pauses left
- 30 min of activity/day: 2 of 3 pauses left

So it was a fun weekend that has affected all aspects of this challenge. I now am down by 1 pause for every part. oops! It was good though and I'm ready for the new week!

red, just opened up an atlas and that was the name that popped out as appropriate. I believe a couple different places had Khao in the name.

Have a wonderful day everyone! And good luck on your challenges
