Thanks.... I just got my haircut and colored again today and its now brown instead of red, and a different cut. I was wondering does anyone know how to make the photo private??? My husband gets upset when I put pictures on, I meant to put a cropped picture of me on but the other picture turned up instead and now I don't know how to delete it from my blog!!! I don't want millions of people seeing pictures of my children, if you know what I mean.

Hey Lee:

I controlled the amount of what I ate, but not so much what I ate. It wasn't that I was eating garbage all day... but not the healthiest choices! I think what caught up to me was that I was eating too few calories in a day and my body decided to store it as fat for use on a later day (I think?!)

I'm a firm believer that HM will work... I'm just amazed at the amount of food I'm eating in a day now... even though they switched me to QLP I a while ago. I usually end up with a bunch of food to eat in the evening.. which probably isn't the best, but my clinic didn't really have a firm answer on whether I should just cut my leftover foods out or eat them almost immediately before going to bed.

I haven't lost a phenomenal amount of weight like some people on here (I'm really jealous of a few of you!), but I am ahead of my goal by 3 lbs and am about 7 weeks in. People are telling me I look like I've lost weight (especially in my face) and that makes me feel better. Just wish I wasn't my own worst critic - don't we all!

Anyways, my screwups before obviously didn't help me out, but HM has helped me turn the corner... sorry for the misunderstanding! I think the program is awesome!

Also I want you to list your favorite features of your body...
1 - I joined cause it was close and I needed accountability...and it was on special too! I couldn't resist. I knew I couldn't do this by myself... I needed a structure. I wanted to join "Mincavi" (a WL program) but the centers closed in our area... so my last resource was either WW or HM... I chose HM.
No regrets!

2 - My breasts, waist, hips...my curves I should say. My smile, my eyes, my hands... yep, that's it for me lol

What do you mean by "switched up my food"...? You simply changed your "regular" meal plan? Is that what you mean? Where you eating the same food over & over again?

See what's odd for me...is that on Mondays... I have this huge WL.
The people at HM are amazed cause I guess people aren't losing much on Mondays. I think it's because your body goes into this shock...cause you don't eat at the same time and don't eat the same things. (I believe).
I probably move more too on the weekend (I work at a desk).

Update:

I had a WI last night... I lost another pound since Monday and I'm down 6.5 inches for this week for a total of 19 inches!! VERY happy!!!
This is like the best diet ever... I'm so pumped.

I can actually SEE myself thin... I see it and it's just right there!! I visualize a lot and I know it's helping!

You should all be doing some visualization... feel the feeling of being thin... of feeling great...of feelign ALIVE & FREE again... and then it makes you wonder if those fries over the weekend are worth it in the end?

Ok, what I meant when I said I "switched up" my food was that I regularly eat fruit, 1/2 pro, starch, 1/2 dairy in the a.m. starch, veg, fruit, 1/2 dairy in the afternoon, and almost always have a big dinner: pro, and veg in the p.m. Which usually is 5oz chicken & 2 1/2 - 3 veg, it just became a routine. So instead I ate my bigger protein & veg for lunch, starches in the a.m, and kept it super light at supper: smoothie - 1/2 banana, 6 ice cubes, 1 tsp vanilla, 1/2 cup yogurt. yum! So we'll see. My body may have become used to the "routine".

Yes I agree! I really believe that for me...this is the key this time.
I looked at my diary...and I haven't eaten the same "recipes" every week.
I modify LOTS. I never eat the same things.. ok yes, I eat chicken, beef, pork, eggs...but I mean, the recipes aren't the same. I think it's a key to my WL.

Let me know Witchie how it goes!! You should switch it up every day if you can... it'll be a surprise every day for your system

Chantal: Thanks, and yes I'm beginning to see that switching it up a little might work. I tend to eat the same things over and over, and I think that may be the slow down. Well, I must get my lazy butt on the treadmill, then off for a hair appointment that I have been putting off for a couple of months, just don't feel like sitting in the chair for 3 hours. Oh well beauty is pain, or so they say. Cheers!

Default Yipee!!!

I love to see all the enthusiasm here!!!!! I went in today and I was down the weight I gained with that TOM and plus .4 so I think that makes it 11.2 pounds. We will see how tomorrow goes at weigh in before the mothers day weekend. I have to work and my daughter has a soccer tournament go figure!!!

I took the kiddies out for supper to Kelseys... what a hard choice!!! The little choices I had from the dining out guide I couldn't have because I would be over my allotment for the day so here is what I ordered... Salmon on salad. The salad had spinach, lettuce, little bit of onions, peppers, broccoli, and mandarin oranges, the clincher was that it also contained crispy noodles and sunflower seeds with a sesame ginger dressing or something like that. I asked for dressing on the side which I didn't use I used lemon. Told the waiter no crispy noodles, and no sunflowers seeds. I ate the salmon which was very good, gave some to the kids, and ate half of the greens. I did well, no appetizers, no alcohol, no bites off the kids plate, and the hardest part NO DESSERT. I am proud.

I also went on the treadmill for 30 minutes tonight. We will see what tomorrow brings.

Take care...
