also guys....are the spritzers free? my friend worked for herbal magic and kind of gave me a plan so i don't really have all the info unless i am constantly calling her. also my scale is being mean...showed that i'd lost ten pounds this week (my first by the way) and then 2 min later said i was up by two...very frustrating. so any info would be so appreciated..i've been reading these threads for a week now and just signed up..hope to chat with you all!!

Default Free exchanges and other business

Hello b4its2l8.... it took me awhile to get that LOL!!! Nothing on this plan is exactly free... am i correct on this ladies?? I believe you can use your free exchange as a treat per se. I know alot of people have a hard time giving up their salad dressings so fat free dressing counts as a free exchange. I don't like to use my free exchange on salsa, mayo, or dressing etc. So I use my fats to make my salad dressing. I use HM snack bars..for my free exchange and I take that to work for coffee break. they are expensive but they are really good. My centre told me and wrote right on the box what they can be used for. You can have wine, or a light beer if you want. Ask at your centre and they will guide you. If this is your first week it is hard to organize everything but it becomes easier. I was told at my centre it takes a couple of weeks for the products to " kick in".

I went in when I woke up in the afternoon to go weigh in and I was down .8 for a total of 7.6 pounds in 2 weeks, I am going into my 3rd week on Monday. This is my first weekend off and we will see what the scale says on Monday. About the weight fluctuation... not to sure what to say there. I was told at my center if you move your scale just a little bit you need to calibrate it again. I know my centres scale is 2 pounds heavier than mine at home.

Hope everybody is doing ok...its been quiet here.

Angry Can't find spritzers!!

Ok I have looked in my 2 local grocery stores... Sobeys and NO frills and both of those stores do not carry them!!! Does Zehrs/superstore have them??? Walmart??? My hunt will continue because I believe you are allowed 5 sprays to a maximum of 10/day I believe but I don't think they count for anything. Correct me if I am wrong experienced HM users.

Wow...feels like I haven't been here in like forever!!!

Yes, I'm having a hard week (Seems like when we sneak away...it's for a reason right?). I had a poutine on Weds... I know... It's the week before my periods, I'm tired, moody, cranky...and I gave in.

I went to the center right after...and the lady was nice to me...she said "Girl, you're doing so awesome! I mean you lost 14.8 pounds in 4 weeks. That's amazing!"... I was simply afraid of me going downhill from there...and giving in at every occasions ya know?? I have to TALK to myself a lot.

So at my WI on Weds, I was up 0.6 pounds... (I knew!) and I was down 2 inches.

Yesterday was a good day, today will be as well. I need to plan, I need to prepare...that's what was missing this week... BIG TIME! Lesson learned!

And the poutine wasn't so great anyways...the day after, my stomach was SO upset... I felt like I was on a hangover...I had heartburn...WHICH I NEVER GOT in 4 weeks!!!!! The crap we eat... or that we crave...

Hey there ladies, welcome B4its2L8. The only "sauce" that I use is Tabasco right now, and a wee bit of light mayo on a sandwich. Hang in there Chantal, temptation is a b**ch isn't it? Again, planning is SO key for me, if I was left to choose my lunch everyday at a food court or restaurant, I'd be eatin' poutines and cheese burgers. So, I completely avoid eating out, and plan all of my meals in advance. I totally feel your pain with the heart burn, I used to suffer major heart burn before I started HM, I am so glad its gone. Weigh in today, will post the results later this afternoon. Wish me luck!

Welcome B4its2l8! You are right about the spritzers being "free" up to a max of 10 sprays. I had a really hard time finding them here too. Only managed to find one bottle at Zellers, but at least it was Italian! They still have the stickers up for all of the other types but they are never in stock. Found more at Fine Foods, but unfortunately the manager there doesn't pay attention to his stock and it was all expired . My scale is also 2 pounds heavier than HM... weird.

Good luck at the weigh in witchie! And good luck getting back on track Chantal!

Where is everyone, anyways? Are we all having a bad week and avoiding each other?? haha
Go for my weigh in tomorrow, followed by a dentist appointment and a bridal shower and social... yikes. Only made it to the gym twice this week so far but am going to go after school today... 3 days definitely isn't 4, but better than nothing!!

Down 1 & 1/4 lbs, and 19 1/4 inches. Slowly but surely.

Good job Witchie! Your inch loss is amazing! I'm sure even the seemingly smaller losses make a big difference on how you look, keep up the good work!

I am not hiding... I just don't have much to say... for once.

Welcome b4its2l8! And Chantal, we all mess up from time to time... but it is the overall big scheme picture that matters. Witchie, great job! You'll be there in no time! Michele, you sound like a busy bee. Hopefully even when you are on the go you can still keep up all of your good work!

I don't have anything to report. I go in for WI tomorrow. It has been a good week from the discipline perspective. I know I will see positive results. I can feel the difference in my body, the way clothes fit and what my home scale has to say. Fingers crossed that I have regained the ground I lost last week...

Great links Chantal! I do love trying new things.

I am curious... what is your average weightloss/week? I am just trying to figure out what is typical for those on HM.

Well... I lost 14.8 pounds in 4 weeks... which is an average of 3.7 per week.
I've had a screwed up week...nothing was moving cause I had less bowel movement (close to none)...and the week after I had this BIG number... but I'm sure I lost weight the week before...it just wasn't showing because of my "back-up" LOL

This week won't be an ordinary week...I ate 4 FE's on Monday... and a poutine on Weds...and I haven't been eating all my stuff from Monday to Weds...but I'm back on track!
