Judy that is so great. It is good to hear your story, too. I have never tried to lose weight before now and I regret it. My weight just jumped up at a pace that I just ignored it. I don't know, but I wish that I had tried to combat it as I was gaining, not waiting until I got to my peak. But anyway, you are a real encouragement and doing great. I would love to see you post your menus on our menu thread, too. We need clues into what the successful are doing!

Oh, almost forgot to post that I w/i this morning and I'm STILL 192!! I did walk last night plus eat popcorn, so I think there was some retention happening. I will probably weigh again in the morning and see if it is still the same. Last week I w/i on Saturday anyway.

Hey, has anybody tried the microwave popcorn maker that looks like a bowl with a plastic cover?
I have one and make my popcorn in the microwave with it. I buy plain popcorn kernals, pour some in the popcorn maker and nuke it. Then I add a spritz of Pam butter or something like that. It controls the salt that way. Otherwise I retain lots of water because all the microwave popcorns are too salty for me. It also is great for me because I can make a little bit, eat it and always make more if I want it. That's a different approach than making a big bag and trying not to eat it all. I also like the mini snack individual bags you can nuke, but they are very salty too.
Congrats Melissa on getting out there and walking!!!! (Are you affected by Chinese food too? I love it, but have problems with the amt. of salt.)

Good luck everyone.

Melissa, that's GREAT!! I'm down too! It's not official until tomorrow morning, but this morning I was 151.2. That's a little over 3 since last Sunday -- and probably because I drank all my water for the last few days. I was SO excited to see it!
