Frouf! You can do this! Do you have any core comfort foods? Maybe you could make a big batch of some type of tasty something that you can snack on when you are feeling down? We believe in you!!!

How about Core mashed potatoes and meatloaf? Core corncakes? I love my recipe. Very comforting. Farina with smart balance and splenda? Hang in there Frouf. We can do this together.

hi, judy. it's good to have you with us.

frouf, i've had a bump in the road, too. yesterday i don't know what my problem was but i couldn't focus on anything thing but depression. this morning i got up and reread what i'd written for my halloween goal/challenge and am back on track. we are like geese. we need to take turns leading and return to the middle of the flock every now and then for help.

i think the main thing about these goals is it gives us some direction. how far we get on that course doesn't matter as much as the fact that we're heading that way. (am i making sense?)

Yes! Sandra, I think that's a great point. I always come back to that. No matter how many times I mess up, or how much weight I DON'T lose, I am still implementing healthy changes to my lifestyle. I think that matters more than what the scale says!

Thanks for the encouragement. Vickie, do you have your Core corncake recipe posted anywhere? I'd love to have it. Frou Frou, look at what you've accomplished! You're great. Take a deep breath and say, "I can do this." Good luck to us all.

I'd love to hang out with you guys. I also post under the Slow Turtles club in the WW forum section. This has been a good week but I didn't get to exercise as much as I'd like. Tonight we're going out to dinner and tomorrow is WI, so I've got my fingers crossed. I'll let you know what happens. Glad to have this group here and am actively working toward my Halloween goal.

This sounds like an awesome idea
I am the slow turtle here on this board; so nice to get involved and give myself a challenge.

My goal is to lose 12 pounds by Halloween.
I plan to do that by:
1/ food journalling consistently; and really watching points
2/ maintaining my workouts at 4x per week, but changing the routine (have an appt today with my trainer)
3/ Not cheating !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Halloweeners,
Today was my WI and I lost .4#. I am actually happy with that because I ate out last night and the food was salty, so I really feel I lost more than that. Today has been really good, so it's onward and downward. Take care. So far my Halloween Challenge has helped me lose 2.8# in two weeks.
Yay!

HI Halloweeners,
Things are looking up. Seems like I may have lost a pound and I'll get it confirmed at my WI on Wednesday. Good luck to all of us.
