OK you guys are setting reasonable goals, so I guess that I will too. I am going to aim for 175 instead.

Count me in!

I plan on being 149.8 on Halloween. That's about 10 or 11 pounds. I plan on doing this by walking 3 miles per day Mon - Fri and going back to WW meetings. I just checked. There is a meeting on Tues morning and Wed. morning, so if I plan on going Tues., then if I miss, I can go Wed. Starting this week!!!!

Default Halloween Goals

HEY ALL!!!! I have more than just Halloween as an October deadline; I am getting married October 15th. I have around 45 days/6 weeks to take off some reasonable weight. I am a homemaker and live out in the country. I have ALL day to exercise but my willpower just won't get out of the bed or off the pc.
I am wearing a very tight sz 18 jeans, weigh 245 lbs. I have a lot of muscle which I know will help to burn the calories. I have a lot of fat to lose and muscle to tone. My goal weight is 160 but for now my October goal is shooting for 225. I know that sounds unreasonable, but my weight fluxs so much that I could take off 10 lbs of water weight in a week if I could only get the willpower up when I get up in the morning...lol.
I am shooting for the following:
1. WATCH PORTION SIZES!
2. WATCH MY CARBS, as I am a carbaholic.
3. DRINK MORE WATER, the clear stuff before you add the tea bad and
sugar.
4. GET OFF MY BUTT AND MOVE!!!!
5. WALK WALK WALK WALK WALK
6. Play with my son more, meaning get outside and chase him around.
7. Weed eat the flower beds!!! We have 6 acres of cleared land and lots
weed pulling to do....lol.
8. Find a buddy to give me that extra push and check-ins that I need!
9. Have to have my size 18 wedding dress suit suit altered to a comfy size
16 or maybe unrealistically a 14. Hey I can dream....lol.
10. Walk down the aisle and have my friends and family whisper how
awesome I look and to make my dream man have to wipe away the
tears.

OKAY....I know that some of my goals are dreamy, but I need something I can push myself to. I would like to try some of the low-fat, low-carb recipes that some of you post on this website. You are all sweet people and deserve a pat on the back for your progress and successes. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!

Love,
Leah

Love a stranger as you never know if they might be your next best friend.

Leah, are you doing core? We would love for you to join us.

Well my eating has not been stellar, but DH and I have walked the past two nights (nearly 2 miles each). I would love to do this daily!

This is a great idea! I want to join in too! I don't know what would be a realistic weight to lose by then so I am going to throw a number and see how close I get to that. I will say that I would like to lose 10 lbs by then. I don't know my current weight since I weigh in on wed. nights, so, I will say, 115 lbs.

Hi PaperStars, on your amazing loss this week! The crazy thing with core is that some weeks you have a huge loss and other weeks it is small. But if you work the program, it is fairly consistent. Anyway, we would love for you to join us. You can also join in our "conversation" on core board #27. We also have a profile thread where we get to know each other.
10 pounds is a reasonable goal. Good luck!

Hi! I'm on track for Halloween and have successfully taken off 4 pounds for my Labor DAy Challenge. This feels good. For Halloween I have promised myself to take off 7 pounds and have a good start! Good luck to all of us. Eating when hungry, not emotional, makes a lot of sense. The trick is finding things to do as a response to an emotion rather than eat.

Patti, that is a very reasonable goal that I'm sure you can reach. You are doing great!

OK I am adding something else to my goal. I want to be comfortable in size 14 pants. If I don't reach my weight goal, but reach this one, I will be a very happy camper.

Hi, I'm on target for my Halloween goal. This morning WI found me down 2.4# and I'm thrilled! A week of only going out for pizza once, and finding the time to exercise has had great results.

: to all during this Halloween challenge.
