Hi Halloweeners,
Let's keep going. We can do this! We've still got three full weeks till Halloween which means we can each lose three pounds. Yay!!!

Judy, thanks for the encouragement. You are a very positive lady.

Sandra, Judy's right, we can be thinner by Halloween. And if there are three weeks left, you and I can still definitely reach the 180's.

I weighed this morning to find myself still at 192. But that's good given the way I've eaten I suppose. I'm getting ready to do WATP 2 mile, since DH is out jogging. It is a cold dreary day here and I'm trying with all my might to stay op.

okay, melissa and judy, i'm still in. i'm still in the 190's and will just aim at getting to 189. that's a start, isn't it? i guess i'd best go change my tracker.

okay, enough of being down. it's time to be positive. 3 lbs is a good start. we can do this.

Hi Halloweeners,
Patti, great news about your one pound loss!
Sandra and Melissa, thanks for your turnaround messages. This is the way to go!
We're doing it. If it's too tough to think about being OP for a day, let's think about 1/2 a day, or stay OP this hour. This weight business is definitely mind over matter for me. Thanks for keeping this thread going. It's a big help to me. Three pounds in the next three weeks is my goal and I'll be on the treadmill today.

Judy, you are so positive. I like your way of thinking. That's what I am trying to do today, stay op one food choice at a time. I guess I need to be elementary in that way. Have fun on the treadmill.

Patti, Congrats!

Good luck Melissa. One food choice at a time is definitely the weigh to go!
Patti and Sandra, let's keep on going!
I've got a challenge today. I'll be at a birthday party and I'll have to watch my portions because my official WI is tomorrow. Good luck everybody!

I haven't weighed this week Sandra. I don't know if it is helping or what. I guess I have been the same weight for so long that I just don't even think about it any more.

I feel like I am having a better week. I am making better snack choices, like eating carrots with dip instead of whatever is lying around. I'm not doing GREAT, but I am doing BETTER. That's something! I have slacked on exercise, but have been busy. I will try to do WATP or gazelle tonight. I'm really hoping that I can change my ticker at least one pound this week!!!

Vickie, Sandra, and Melissa, keep on keepin' on. Better is a very good word. Let's all take baby steps, think before we eat, drink the water and feel good about our efforts.
I am so happy today. I only lost .6# at WW's (had a couple of birthday celebrations)
but it put me into virgin fat territory and I am so happy! Brief history. In 2000 I joined WW's for the umpteenth time at 234.6#. I lost 25# and thought I had the dieting thing under my belt. 2001 I maintained the 25# weight loss but didnt' lose another pound. 2003-2005 (until late August) I gained, lost, gained , lost and got nothing accomplished. Somehow in late August I found a new attitude and started losing weight. I've lost somewhere around 12# since then and am finally in new weight loss territory. My best goal is to get into onederland by New Year's Eve. Good luck to us all.
