Delphie you are so funny, Maby the guy was just trying to get you to go to church. If he was a hottie I would jump on it. I am teeling you I didn't figure it out until I was 30 years old. I always picked the bad boys. But let me tell ya a church boy more than likely won't cheat on ya. ( not all though). After 2 marriages and plenty of boyfriends I tryed to change, I relized it wasn't gonna work. God's way is always better.

Maby he could just be a good friend.

Don't mean to preach just a little life experience Girl

Hi...
I am finally here to spend a bit of time with you gals
I am just picking up from yesterday, there is no way I can catch up from last Friday in under 3 hours

FSA: Hi girl! Glad to hear you dad is OK and that you had a really good time on the weekend

Gekster: Ugh! Undetermined stay? I'd be ready to pull out my hair in like 3 days But I see the point in it being your MIL's house. Which TBL workout are you doing? I have the Bootcamp and Weight Loss Yoga and I really like them Bob (but I swear he's trying to kill me when I do the Bootcamp one) on the loss!

Tummy: Sorry you are PMSing again, but honestly...I think I'd have a chuckle watching you trying to push DH off the deck or eating your kid LOL. I guess I missed it from the previous days, but enjoy packing and going wherever it is you're going!

Susie: congrats on hitting goal!!!

Glutio: That haircut is really good. I have been contemplating going shorter for the summer and I might just take the inspiration from you and go for it
Have fun on your trip, it might just be what you needed.

Jacqui: Hi it's good to be back, I missed you all!

econ_nerd: Sorry to hear about your back. Hope your surgery goes well.

Blondie
: Hi girl! Are you excited about the new job?

Delphi: That was totally weird I say. I think I'd be totally uncomfortable by having a random dude come over and come on to me like that. But truth be told, you are looking HOT, so who can blame the poor soul?

Home hunting is going OK, I am getting tired of it though, I just want to have a weekend to do nothing and relax. Tonight I am taking DH to see a place I saw on Monday that I liked. Funny thing is, it's not the prettiest, newest or most loved, but there was something to it that I liked, I can't even explain it (the walls are pink for crying out loud!). I hope it's not hard for DH to see what I saw in it. Our personalities are totally different in that I totally go by my instincts and he needs to see concrete facts and analyze everything (he's the king of spreadsheets ). I will keep you posted.

Now I have to go and do laundry...anyone want to help?

I've been around here a lot today, huh? I just had to share something cool that happened at work today. I had just locked up my office and was walking toward the door to the stairs when a work acquaintance stopped me and said, "So tell me, how much have you lost?"

I can't remember if I'd said anything to her before, but I don't think I did. She's a little blunt, which is why she's just an acquaintance (that and all the women at work have kids or grandkids my age and work in a different department). So yeah, it means things are noticeable to others, even if I've been wearing pants that aren't flattering!

Alright just finished my treadmill, whilst watching The Mummy, the newest one. It was good and I'm all done with exercise today. I feel like I haven't stopped going since I woke up and I hope it shows with my calorie burn for the day. At any rate, let me catch up.

NSM ~ I'll come over and help with laundry. Good luck with the house your gonna show the hubby, I hope he likes it. And yeah, totally uncomfortable for me it was.

blondie ~ I do hope you get the puter working at home. We sure would miss ya around here. Yeah, he seemed genuine enough, but it still kind of freaked me out. I mean what was I supposed to say? I don't know, it was just weird. But I definitely get what you are saying.

Susie ~ Yeah, he is a pastor not a matchmaker and the guy straight up told me his pastor mentioned it...I was floored. I don't even go to that church, I've just lived beside them for four years. So I don't know what he was thinking. The whole thing was just strange.

Jacqui
~ TOM is a pain. I now know, when I stall out, it's because he is coming. Anywho, just wanted to say thanks for the compliment in the sister thread and thanks for keeping track of everything. You're such a peach.

Glutio ~ Your hair looks Great girly. Ooolala!

FSA ~ Did you get my message with my email? Let me know and have a great day.

Sandye
~ I MISS YOU ALREADY! I hope you are having a great time.

Dat's it for me my peeps. I'm gonna take a shower, cool down and watch a movie with my boys and then off to bed. You ladies have a good one.

Hi Gals! On program for me again today. I've been wearing my heart monitor this past week when I work out. Last week when I did my 20 min HIIT I burned so many more calories then today. I'm in TOM and I was pushing myself just like last week but my efforts didn't seem to make the same impact today. I can't help but think it's because of TOM. I mean everything seems like more of an effort, so of course the exercise would too. I just didn't realize I wasn't hitting the same intensity until I was wearing the monitor.

Delphi~ Funny situation with the "helpful" man. He might end of having some unforeseen incredible impact on your life in the future. Who knows???

NSM~ Good luck with the house! I hope dh gets the same feeling you did. We're on the fence right now about possibly selling our home and upgrading. Selling our home seems like such an overwhelming step, I just don't know what to do.

Blondie~ Good luck with the new job on Monday! I hope you find someway to keep up with the board.

Glutio~ It's a wonderful feeling when others start recognizing the weight loss. That would have made my day! BTW, really cute haircut.

FSA~ Did you make it to the store? I had to go out and replenish the fridge too.

Econ~ I hope your back feels better and your surgery goes smoothly.

Jacqui~ Hope that water weight leaves you soon. I'm right in the middle of TOM and I can't wait for a true read on the scale.

I'm heading off to bed. I hope everyone has a great night!

Good evening ladies,

Delphi - They won't even ship it to Canada, it's just a little border but they do say on the site that they will sometime in the future, maybe possibly, so I'll have it just when you have your elliptical, when we don't need it anymore! I'm with you on the ripped arms though, I can see tricep muscle now when I flex it, but there's all the flubber in the way...soon Must have been all the bending over to blow up the pool, it's always nice when someone notices your supreme hotness, good for you, enjoy it, it's a small taste of things to come (you might want to put up a taller fence!)

Crystal - Hope you manage your house guests well, that's kinda of a nice opportunity with the house too, have fun!

Glutio - That's awesome hair chickie, you're gonna knock that guys socks off! In a good professional way of course. Awesomeness! Loving the compliments or rather the remake, those blunt ones are funny that way, no you look nice or anything but how much?

Susie - so you're the person who buys the mistints! I knew someone had to be. Actually I have a friend who only buys them and mixes them all together and she has the most fabulous place, there might be something too that.

Lene - that's an interesting point about the heart rate, I'm going to be picking one up on Friday whe we drive through the big city so I'm interested to see that too. I remember last month that if felt like exercising in water. Thanks for the handy info!

Jacqui - I wish men could just spend a moment in our bodies to see what it's like and be more empathetic and then maybe they won't say crazy things like, "I'll do that in a bit" or "Hun, that seems a bit unreasonable" Oh who am I kidding if he could spend time in my body he'd just walk around naked staring!

Econ nerd- Glad you're back and 2lbs down is great and in the right direction. Good luck with the surgery.

FSA - I know I can make anything sound sexy it's a gift Yes we are heading out for a mini vacay on Friday and we'll be back on July 2. Just going to Northwestern Ontario but it is 19 hours there, ugh. But it's family we like so it's worth it.

NSM - I was just going to ask anyone to help me with the laundry too, I guess we better get going ourselves And the funny part of my PMS is that whenever a commercial comes on talking about it, dh says something like, "Wow that sounds horrible, I'm so glad you don't get that" Then in my head I say "You have no idea how many times you've almost been set on fire." Good luck with that house!

Well I better hit the sack soon too, just gotta plan tomorrow's breakfast and lunch then off to slumberland. I have week 2 of HIIT tomorrow and I am super excited to see how I do. Talk to you all in the morning!

FSA, thanks lady! Yes, getting TOM out of the way for the start of the new month is a positive! Now if he would just get here already!

Glutio, I hope you have a great time on your trip and DH has an awesome interview!!! And don't forget to pack some workout clothes in case the place you're staying at has a gym! If not, maybe you can get DH to walk with you as you discuss the goings-on of your trip! And congrats on the unexpected compliment from that blunt woman at work! It really IS nice when others notice!

Blondie, good luck with your new job!!

Delphi, you and your men! Lol!! I'm going to start saying what I say about all the guys interested in my daughter--take a number! You know, the pastor may not have brought the topic of you up first. It could be that the hottie asked him if you were single and the pastor said yes! But hey, I know you're holding out for a policeman...in uniform...with handcuffs, lol!

NSM, I do hope you are closer to finding a home. I've owned 6 homes over the years and four I absolutely fell in love with and nothing else compared, and two I knew would "work." But in every case, I was like you and it was based on instinct. I don't think a woman's intuition can be easily discounted in situations like that. We know what we find to be a harmonious setting for our family! In any event, good luck!

Joci, now, you know the novel is just going to be even longer tomorrow! Have a great night!

Lene, yes, I'm sure the intensity has been affected by TOM. That dude can really zap our energy! But it's great that you are OP and are doing your HIIT, despite TOM! Good for you!

T_Girl, you're preaching to the choir!! Men would NEVER survive this every month! And you're so right about the naked part, lol!!!

Good morning you sexy ladies!

Sooooo, I'm down a FULL POUND this morning. and ! Quite excited! Only one more to go to hit goal. That's just awesome. Losing another pound in five days should be relatively easy..eh? Though I'm shooting for whatever gets me to Onderland in twenty days.

So the boys and I watched our movies last night, and guess who shows up at my door? Yup, the weird, let me blow your pool up, church guy. Now come on. It's one thing to see me outside and say hi, it's entirely another to knock on my door at seven in the evening. Needless to say, I didn't answer the door, and that REALLY, freaked me out. So yeah, if I haven't mentioned this before, men are not for me, and just to put it out there, neither are women. Sooooo, yeah, weird day but it was a high calorie burner. Today, I don't know. I will tell ya this much. We will be outside today so the boys can try out that new pool and I'll have my trusty Louisville Slugger by my side just in case. Of course I've talked to my oldest about this and what happened, so now we have practiced some dialog. If I give him the sign, he is supposed to say, "Mom, when does daddy get out of prison?"....hopefully, that will work.

Well let me catch up real quick...

Tummy ~ That's the truth we wont need them come December, we both should be sitting at or damn near goal. But we will need that exercise to maintain. Oh my that seems so surreal to even say that...maintenance. Wow, just wow! Honestly, when I set that goal, I did so thinking that would be a healthy weight for me. But I'm not so sure I will stop at 150. I think I'm gonna keep going until my body settles on a weight. So perhaps ten to fifteen past my goal. I guess we shall see.

Jacqui ~ I wish. I'm so jealous that you got that elliptical...and so cheap. That is so exciting. I know it always is when I get something new. That should switch up your routine and perhaps those stubborn pounds will start dropping off again after TOM.

Alright ladies, I'm off to do something. Today is core & strength training, but I'm still sore from my longer session Tuesday. So I'll probably do a little core work this morning and perhaps some laps outside. At any rate, you ladies have a freakin' awesome day and I'll check in later.

OhHHH Delphi, you can't blame the poor guy, look at ya! Does he totally gross you out? If not, I think you should get to know him...... you don't have to marry the guy, but he would be good practice, and you never know he may be the man of your dreams (or not). Heck, finding a guy that is willing to help do something without being asked.....HMMM that sounds like a good and rare quality to me. Maybe you could just exchange #'s or emails, and get to know him a little if you are still uncomfortable, then tell him your husband is getting out of prison soon.LOL As far as not needing a man, You are definately an incredible, and strong woman, but you have boys...... and just like girls really need a womans guidance, boys need GOOD influential men in their life to show them how to be good men. Now I am not saying this dude is "The One", but it might be worth giving him a second chance. Just be honest and tell him, you are not sure about the whole situation. Make him work a little, any man worth his salt will prove himself to you. I think any REAL man would love to find a hot looking, smart, witty woman like you. Especially one who is such a kid at heart!! ** The preceding novel is Just my opinion, and meant with a lot of love (the friendship kind LOL). Girl you deserve the best!! Let us know how it goes today.

Jacque ~ What can I say, I'm a morning person. When I did work before Canaan, I think my co workers wanted to throw their coffee on me in the mornings I was so darn cheerful. Thanks though!

Le ~ 's I'm just uncomfortable period. It's just me at this stage in my life. I made so many bad choices, including the men in my life and for so long, I've taken care of my family and those bad men. I just need some time to focus on me and who I am and what I want in my life before I even ponder on adding a man to the, already complicated equation. Plus, once they get a look at Canaan, they take off running to the hills anyways..jerks!

Hey girls!!! Oh my gosh I miss you all SOOOOO much! I haven't been able to check posts or anything and I'm feeling so out of the loop!

I would love to do personals but, I can't right now. But I HAD to come say hi and let you know that, although I've been POP all week and doing all my workouts, I'm just not feelin' it 110%. I'm chalking that up to not being able to read your posts daily and be inspired by you wonderful girls and stuff. So see, I'm only gone a few days and lost without you all! What on earth am I going to do when I got to TX?!?

Okay, deep breath...it'll be okay...I'll survive...I won't like it, but I'll make it through that week...I have to!

Anyway, nothing new to report--stuck at 162.6 and not budging. I chalk that up to relaxing. I told my mom that I'm going to have to break down and do some yard work or something to make that scale move! It's been crazy hot and humid here though (and they're not used to it) so we've been spending our time inside in the AC.

Okay, well, gotta run! I miss you all TONS! I'm so proud of all of you for staying OP! I'm thrilled and so excited about all the losses!! and I hope that in my absence that you're all consuming mass quantities of high quality H2O!!

Have a great day and send me some scale budgin' vibes would ya? I'm starting to get a bit peeved! Grrr!

NSM- I am doing The Workout vol. 1. It has workouts for alternating cardio and strength for weeks 1-3 and then more intense for weeks 4-6. I think it is people from seasons 1 and 2, but yeah, sometimes I think Bpb wants to kill me as well haha.

Delphi- First off, congrats on the pound!! And about this guy, didn't you say he asked if he could stop by later and you said sure? He was just sticking by what he said and stopping by. I don't think it is so creepy. But I completely understand you feeling like you don't need men in your life right now. Men complicate things and it is obvious right now you are trying to look out for you and your boys and you don't want stress and drama. I don't see anything wrong with getting to know the guy as a friend though if you put out there that that is as much as you are interested in. And it would probably be better if you got to know each other outside of your house to get rid of some of the creepy factor.

CMo4- I'm glad you are having fun with your family. Maybe you could take them to a park and everyone can do active stuff together so you still get that moving, but everyone is involved?

As for me, down .2 this morning. I didn't expect anything, MIL dragged me out yesterday before my second workout and when we went to this place to grab something to eat is was this greasy spoon type place and nothing was decent. I ordered a breakfast burrito because I knew BF would have it for breakfast today. I didn't want to eat out, I tried explaining this, but she didn't care. She would not take no for an answer and I gave in and went. I eat a little bit of the burrito but I was so sick from it. We got home like 3 hours later and I made some nice chicken with straight from the farm green beans and corn on the cob, but I ate way too much since I hadn't eaten lunch. Just not a good day. And this morning TOM is killing me. I would rather do nothing than workout, especially since it is a strength training day, but I know I need to. I think I need a little today. I just want to crawl back into bed and stay there.
