Ladies, I'm stumped for the July Weight loss challenge. I have no idea what to make my goals. As I lose weight it is becoming ever so difficult to keep a 1000 calorie deficit, because I simply don't get out much. I've been working extremely hard to maintain it for June, but I'm not going to do that for July. So other than reaching Onederland and perhaps an 8lb goal, I'm just not sure. I wish there was a way to move my butt. But believe me when I say my house is spotless, I've cleaned out, reorganized and purged my house last month. Not too mention all the bushes trimmed, trees cut and weeds pulled in my yard.

I suppose that could be a goal....to be more active, but how the heck am I supposed to do that stuck in this house? The only days I have a really good calorie burn is the day that I do errands outside of the house. HELP!!!

glutio-
Congratulations! That's IS wonderful news!
Delphi -
Have you ever considered belly dance?
It's great exercise.
I've been at since the 70's and it's what I do when it's too hot to be outdoors or there's 4 ft. of snow pushed up against my door.

I'm convinced it's one of the reasons I still have a semi hourglass figure in spite of my age and weight
Here's a link to a very well known dancer who is in her mid 60's

Glutio- Yay, congrats to you and your husband!

Jacqui- Don't give up, it sounds like water weight and there is a couple days left before this month is over.

Delphi- You are always surrounded by insanity. Congrats on surpassing goal!

I lost weight, .9 this morning. And it is a weekend! I opened my 285 envelope yesterday and we are going to buy me sandals today! I cannot wait. And every time I put them on I will remember my hard work.

Susie ~ Hmm, that sounds interesting and something I'd enjoy. I'll look around for a dvd. Thanks!

Gekster ~ Hmmm, yeah. You would think for a recluse like me, nothing ever would happen. It's all just really weird and sad on the same note. on the loss.

Crystal, congrats on the loss and the sandals!! Woohoo!

Delphi, Like Susie, I was going to suggest that you order videos and learn to dance--belly dancing, hip hop, salsa, etc. I have a belly dancing DVD that I ordered from Ebay, but since our move a year ago, we haven't yet been able to find it or our DVD player, lol! We had two homes completely full of furniture and everything else to live, and two college kids living in apartments with more furniture and stuff, and last summer, we moved EVERYTHING into our one home, so it was completely chaotic, and I am still digging out! The kids took some things when they went back to college, but not enough, and we had two yard sales last summer to try to get rid of some more. I also put boxes upon boxes of stuff out for free out on the sidewalk in front of our house (needless to say, that stopped traffic, lol), but we still have too much, which is why it's imperative that I have a yard sale again this summer, even though I really don't want to. But somewhere, I have a dvd player and a belly dancing dvd!

Okay, wow to the police story, Delphi! You have plenty of adventure for all of us...lucky, lucky, huh?! Thanks for the advice on being less accessible for the crazies. Also, I'm putting some goals around healthy eating things, vitamins, or other health stuff for July, not just weight/calories. I guess you could also do inches, if you want. The options are limitless.

Great news about a weekend loss, Gekster!

I am back to being only .4 away from my June goal. Yay! I have put some thought into July goals. I'll have to think on it one more day before I post them, though, so I'm sure of what I'm doing.

Hello Ladies, Haven't posted since Wed. Had to read 4 pages Just to let ya know I got my computer fixed So if I can't post from work I can post from home. I start my new job tomorrow and I am a little nervous. I am excited and nervous. I keep thinking how I am going to have to change my whole routine. I used to work out on my lunch at home but I won't be leaving the prison for lunch because of time. They have a small gym, I plan to use at lunch. I am nervous and hoping someone isn't using the treadmill on my lunch and O I don't know just working out in a new place. I know it sounds funny maby a little insecure. Anyways I am sooooexcited about all the losses and TUMMY passed me up I need to get with it. Delphie you are doing the thing girl. And everyone els CONGRADS

Jacqui ~ Oooo, I love me some yard sales. Too bad you don't live close enough (anymore) so that I could check it out. Thanks though, I'm definitely gonna see what I can find.

MsP ~ Yeah, I did figure it out. I had an old boyfriend that apparently was in town, and although he didn't say he called the cops, the hateful email I received today, pretty much let me know it was him. How childish. He is an ex marine, who happens to work for Nascar. Good to know they let mentally unstable people work with those cars. I hope you, like me, can figure out our goals for next month. Though it shows just how far we have come. We are trying to constantly challenge ourselves and that my dear, is an excellent and rewarding thing indeed.

Blondie ~ Don't you fret luv, you just keep your confidence..or as they say around here, fake to make it girly. You will do just fine.

girls!

I hope you all had a good weekend. I was off so you know mines was fantastic!

I did lots of walking yesterday....around the mall. That was a moment in history folks! I despise the mall. Crowds of people surrounding me.....most of them teenagers....*shudders* This was actually my second time going to the mall since I've moved to Texas.....the second time in almost two years! If it wasn't for Sunshine's wedding, I wouldn't have put myself through it. But I was looking for bra, shaper, something to help my tatas fit more comfortably in that dress. I browsed around DebPlus, Torrid, and Lane Bryant. Tried on some things and remembered why I hate clothes shopping. I hope that gets easier as I lose the weight.

Speaking of weight, I decided to move my WIs to Sunday and today was the first. It was horrible but I accept it. Though I have slowly amped up my movement, I still need to rein in the eating. Today was a good day, my cal intake was too low but at least I didn't binge. I really want a bike so I can hop on at night when it's not killer outside. I have to pay rent, then I'll see what I have left.

Work tomorrow, feeling ill already.

Peace, loves.

We are back to our current home now, up too late again. With my sleeping issues, I've been surprised every day how well I've been doing. I was even more surprised that the GoWear Fit said I slept 5 hours and 20 minutes SOLID on Friday night. I was only in bed maybe 6 hours (we stayed up WAY too late with friends). Plus, I just uploaded for the first time since yesterday morning, and it said I slept 9 hours 29 minutes last night out of 10 hours 26 minutes in bed!! My sleep efficiency was actually over 90%!!!

I'm nervous about weigh in tomorrow, at home and WW what with going out of town. There was a LOT of moving around, and GWF said I burned more than 3000 calories every day. I only tracked my points, though, so I don't know how many calories I actually ate yet. I may try to update tomorrow to find out. The only day I used flex points was today, and that was only 1 point. I'm hoping to be the same or lower, but I'll be ok if I'm not.

Looking forward to attempting normalcy these next few weeks while trying to pack up half my life and ship my husband off to live with other people.

Hi girls, sorry I haven't posted - last week was craziness and even this weekend I made an unexpected trip to Germany (just to Duisburg, 1 hour away) and I just have had enough time to focus on my program at the minimum.

I seem to have inherited Delphi's water retention so I definitely won't make my June goal. I'm ok with that though, I have still lost weight this month and am making progress, albeit slow, with C25K and other exercise. I fit into my bathing suit I bought last year to work towards and I'm getting a few comments now from people noticing changes, so I do feel I've been successful this month

I just wanted to chime in about bellydancing as well. I just finished a 6 week course and I loved it! Am planning also on getting a DVD to keep it up. I have a better appreciation now of my body and curves so I want to continue what makes me feel good, sexy, and feminine!

Congrats Delphi on making goal!!

Congrats Tummy for making it back into "onederland"

Gekster, congrats on the loss! I love the idea of a mini goal envelope! I need to lose 12 lbs yet and I can't believe how flippin hard it is to lose these last pounds. I think I might do this for every 3lb loss. It might sound lame but I have been struggling to get off of 153 for the last year. It seems like this is the weight my body likes to be at.

Hi to everyone else!!!

As for me the scale, said I was down 1lb. Will not be making my 5lb goal for the month but just got a little closer at least.

Take care!

Good Morning Ladies

Just checking in this morning before my workout. It has been one weird weekend for me and honestly, I'm glad it's over. My oldest is "supposed" to start basketball camp today so I need to get my butt moving with my strength training so I can get him ready as well. I know July doesn't officially start for a few more days, but I'm ready to get a bit hardcore this month and buckle down. So you ladies have an excellent day and I'll come back in a few to do my personals.
