I started in august then went on vacation #1 then travel 1&2. I would have to pull all of my notes from the drs office to track the loss. I am not the poster child for the diet but I was in this for the long haul and the results!

Re drinking: on vacation protocol you can have 1 glass of white wine. I made my drink of choice white wine spritzers with seltzer and lime and lots of ice. I now think this will be a new fav!

Lily 4 lbs isnt bad at all. I agree you do lose way more on milk days. I am also on milk day today and weighed in at 145 today. Also slow loss. But i am almost done phase one with two more days to go.
Sophie: It doesnt really matter what matters is that you reached goal! Congrats. Have a perfect day everyone!

I'm worried that I didn't place my beads exactly in the right spot. The look like they are in the right spot but when I rub them I feel like they are too close to my ear and not far enough back on my head. The picture they sent me had such a huge gap between the ear and hairline that it wasn't really comparable to my own ear. I'm also really unsure about the pressure and size of the circles to make. I'm probably just being paranoid, but the training wasn't specific enough for me.

hey, yeah you are being paranoid. Its fine it doesnt have to be in that exact spot. But if its too close where you can rub it then maybe you should change it. And your not suppose to pressure it too much because it'll irritate your skin. Good luck.

Holy crap I can't wait for tomorrow - veggie/fruit day!!! I need something solid to chew and swollow very badly! I love the milk and yogurt, but i'm so hungry. All the water I can drink doesn't help.

The good news is I have my menu planned for tomorrow and it looks delicious. I don't feel limited by the requirements on fruit/veggie days.

Hey all,

I'm new to the board, but came across this after starting the bead diet 3 weeks ago. I've been lurking for awhile, but finally sucked it up and joined the board, lol. Figured it'd be good to get some moral support while doing it.

Thanks Toni!

I've lost 16lbs so far. Last week wasn't a great week for me because it was my birthday. I told my Dr. that I was planning to eat/drink so I was aware that I probably wouldn't lose as much. However, I lost 3lbs this week, so I'm pretty pleased with that.

Is anyone working out while doing the diet? I have been about 3x a week, I don't think it helps you lose more weight, I'm just interested in it for toning purposes mostly.

Welcome Tamni! I workout but i think i definitely over do it. I work out about five times a week and sometimes run about 12 km. And your right it doesnt help with the weight loss but definitely with toning.

So quick update. I am on my last day of my first phase and i am already 8 lbs down! Have a perfect day everyone.

Nice job! Do you feel like you can "see" it yet?

I have absolutely no willpower but I'm so proud of myself because I said no to every single thing I was tempted by yesterday. I even made my lunch and dinner for today last night and didn't so much as lick the spoon.

Wow, so many people are posting in this thread now! I love it!

I just started my second set of beads. I lost 5 pounds on the first set, which would definitely have been more if I hadn't cheated. I'm determined to be cheat free for this new set!

Tamnificent, happy late birthday I don't work out now, but I do plan on picking it up again once I go back home at the end of the semester. I should be on maintenance by then, assuming everything goes well!

Lose25, congrats on the major loss!! I sooo wish I had lost that much off my first set.

Tonimaroni, congrats on resisting!

Does anyone know if it's the same 3 points that keep rotating or if there are new ones after the first 3 sets?

I have been working out 3 x a week.

I have heard that you aren't supposed to but I think it made a diffence in how firm I am. And I think I am smaller than my scale says. I believe it is because I am not flabby!

Thanks Everyone!
Toni Personally for me it was the same three sets and he fourth one as just going back to the beginning. Thats why after the fourth point i didnt buy any more points of pressure it was expesive and it stil worked.

And lilly make sure you dont cheat this time!!!Remember only a month of this you'll have reached your goal!

Sophie: Yeah your right it def does make a difference.

Have a perfect day everyone!
