Lose25 You will see it soon enough!

I realized what motivates me today. I usually weigh myself at least twice a day. Everyone says not to do that but personally, it always keeps me in check so I don't get crazy with my meals. However, after not weighing myself for two days - I wanted to so bad I could just scream - the difference in my weight this morning was so much bigger than when I weigh everyday that I got so excited I hopped on the eliptical in my basement before work!

Lose25, I am severely paying for my cheat day, so I know I'm not going to do it again! The weight I'm at now really should have been my weight about four days ago. I'm really hoping to be done by a month, so I can [maybe] enjoy Thanksgiving properly with my family.

Tonimaroni, I really want to break the habit of weighing daily. Maybe the two-day loss will be super motivational for me too.

I'm down to 139 today! My TOM should be coming within a week, so I'm hoping that the weight is coming off kind of slowly because of that.

Lilly- I desperately want to have T-day dinner with my family without it being a cheat day too! If I get to a good weight by then I'll eat for the holiday and then restart the program the following week for my ultimate goal by Christmas.

OKay lilly and Toni LETS MAKE SURE WE REACH OUR GOAL by thanksgiving. NO IF's!! Were not gonna say IF WE DONT CHEAT! We will say we WONT CHEAT! Because you guys motivate me so much and if you two cheat then what will happen? LOL SO NO CHEATING!!! THat way we can have a wonderful thanksgiving dinner without it being a cheat day! So we all are going to reach our goal by thanks giving. Think about it after that month all the food in the world will still be there.

I am starting Phase 2 tomorrow. Good luck everyone. Lets have a perfect end of october. Is anyone worried about Halloween?

OK ladies. It's day 4 and I'm down 3 pounds! I cheated on the first day cuz it was a milk day and I was really hungry so I had a giant sandwich. But none since then and I'm really happy with the loss.

I'm so exhausted... I can hardly function I'm so tired. I've been sticking perfectly to the diet, drinking tons of water. Does anyone else feel this way? Tomorrow I'm going to start taking my vitamins because I don't normally do that and I read that it helps, but I find it hard to believe that those simple supplements are going to pull me out of this.

On the plus side, I've been getting pretty creative with the food. I'm going to try the wise fries and plantain chips on Sunday.

Hi everyone! So I'm down to 138 today! Let's do it ladies, Thanksgiving is only a month away!!

Tonimaroni2, sorry I can't remember, but is this your first week? It is definitely the hardest. I do find that I nap more often, but I've always been quite the napper. I would say take the multivitamin--it does help! Do avoid cheating again though--it really, really messes with the balance of the diet. At least you got it out of your system now, so it won't happen again!

I'm on a veggie day today. I honestly prefer milk days, so I'm dying to get to Saturday when I can have my strawberry milk and yogurt!

Have a lovely, cheat-free day

Lily- Congratulations!! You seem to be losing pretty steadily the last few days. Yes, this is my first week and I haven't cheated since that first day so I'm pretty proud of myself for that. I'm a napper also, but its hard to do when I'm at work from 7 to 6 M-F, so I'm struggling with being so tired.

Thanks, tonimaroni2! I'm really excited that I was able to get back on the wagon after cheating last week. I have really bad self control issues, so I kind of surprised myself by not giving up. I think my self control problem has transferred to my shopping though...I can't stop! I just want to keep buying clothes since my old clothes don't fit quite right anymore...

Thanks to you too, Lose25! I'm also motivated by everyone's loss on 3FC. I feel like I can't stop losing because I don't want to look bad around everyone else who knows about how much I've lost since I started this diet. I have a really hard time with veggie days...for some reason I end up hungrier than on milk days. I always have to have jello on veggie nights.

Welcome back, CandyCoatedSymphony! We can definitely all hit our goals by the holidays if we really stick to the plan.

Have a great weekend, everyone! Let's make it cheat-free, despite Halloween coming up!

Toni,

my first week I was miserable! But now I'm week 4 and I'm getting the hang of it. My biggest problem is meat cravings, lol. I really miss meat, and sometimes sneak a few pieces (shame on me), but I'm working on it. I just have to keep reminding myself that the food will always be there, lol. Since it's getting cold though, I've been having tons of soup on my veggie days which always fill me up.

Hope everyone has a great week!

Candy welcome back! I was in the same boat too. I started then gave up. BUt trust me second time is the charm! I hope so anyways lol.
LILY I know exactly how you feel! I shop sooooo much more now too. My credit card was declined on tuesday!!! There was a huge sale and i just bought and bought. And its not because my clothes firt different they dont. I just think i have replaced my food addiction with that of shopping. Btw how long have you been on the diet for?

Alsi weight myself today and hadn't lost a lb on my veggie day. I am a little disappointed. But oh well.

Good luck everyone and have a perfect day!!

Tamnificent, I miss meat too! I usually crave red meat and salty foods when I'm PMSing (aka right now), so I'm just kind of indulging my salty craving a little more to compensate. Try not to cheat!! That way, you get to your goal sooner, and then you can have meat cheat-free

Lose25, I didn't lose or gain any weight compared to yesterday, either. But this has happened to me before, and someone told me that the diet in the veggie phase works differently from the diet in the milk phase. I wouldn't worry about it--at least it's not a gain, right? I got really discouraged when this first happened to me, but I kept losing afterward so I was happy. I actually lost two pounds the day after. I've only been on the diet since last Monday (the 18th).
