thanks lose25, that helped a lot. i never hear back from my consultant so you're advice was very much needed.

you mentioned water being super important; how much water do you drink a day? you guys have lost so much weight, i feel like you're my rolemodels - so any tips or tricks you've learned are highly coveted.

Haha Lilly well yeah maybe thats why!

Yhx9C your welcome. I actually havent lost much. I failed the first time around but now i am back on track. I drink at least 3- 4 1.5 liter bottles on my really good days. But sometimes i just drink two of them The best way is to use the large water bottles. The only trick for me personally is to keep it simple. I havent tried any of the ingredient that people swear on. On milk days i drink plain milk and coffee. On veggie days it a salad or boiled vegetables. Nothing special at all. I feel the better the food is for me the more i crave. Hope that helps. And i also keep in mind that all the food will be there when i am done this. Another thing that helps is writing down why i want to lose weight and read them a few times a week before bed time. I am suppose to be reading it all the time but i dont lol. . And i know what you mean. My consultant is the same and i am all the way in canada and it takes longer. Have you guys reused your points? Because my consultant told me it wouldnt work. But its working perfectly for me. Good luck everyone.

I came across this thread today and spent all day reading every single post! I just ordered my beads and things! I'm super excited. For the people that are doing the distance diet... how long did it take you to get your kit from the time you ordered? I'm so hyped up about it, I hope it doesn't take forever.

Hi all- well I am close to DONE but I think I will go a couple of more. I was 2 lbs. from goal and now I am 1 lb. below but I can see I need a few more for a cushion and to get rid of this d__m muffin top! Trust me it is a WHOLE lot better - no doubt - but I think I need a 3-5 lb. cushion.

I will keep you posted.

My beads should be here on Monday. I'm so excited to be able to lose this weight so quickly.

I just have one question. Can I really have any zero calorie drinks I want - like diet coke???

Ugh, well I super cheated Friday night when I was out with my friends. DO NOT CHEAT!! It set me back like two pounds, and that was only for one night. I still have a net loss for the week, but I'm disappointed because I could be in the 130s by now! It's ok though, I'm determined to make this a perfect week.

Good luck to everyone!

hey. Well that sucks but as long as your back on track your are fine. I have avoided going out with my all of friends so far except for one who supports me 100 %. Last night i also went out with a whole bunch of my friends and took her a long with me. While everyone was eating i drank tea and she kept me in check the whole night. I have four birthday parties coming up and a huge Halloween party that i am thinking of skipping. Oh what to do? and my supporter wont come with me because she doesnt know them. i still dont know if i should or should not....

Good luck everyone.

Update: I am now on day six and havent weighed my self in three days because i was out of town for my weigh in. Anything new with everyone else? Lilly how much do you weigh now?

Lose25

I started at 155 and I am 127. I am 129 with my clothes on which is how I weigh in at Dr. S's office. I HATE that! The goal he set for me was 130 (dressed in his office, mind you).

I have this week and then I will move to transition. Only one more set of beads. I know some talk about the cost of the diet and not cheating but this took me a lot longer than others and I am sure it is because I continued to live my life. I traveled for business and went on vacations etc. etc. That also means I went too long between bead changes and I have been working out religiously. C'est la vie!

I really don't care - I LOVE my new body and this is a whole lot cheaper than lipo. LOL! Also since I continued to lose - I never gained more than 1-2 lbs. back ever - I think I have a new way to approach food and eating.

Try being by yourself stuck in hotels and airports for a week and figure out what you will eat. Talk about wilpower.

BTW I set my scale at home to 5 instead of 0 so it would absolutely match the scale at Dr. S.'s office with an error of margin to the heavier number just in case. I did not want any surprises!

I'm starting with my beads tomorrow. I just have one issue... There are tons of Halloween parties next weekend and I know myself, I won't be able to say no to a few drinks. How has everyone else done with alcohol on this diet? Is there any drink that might be better than others in terms of weight gain or loss?

Sophie - It sounds like you've done really well for yourself, I'm so happy it worked for you. How long ago did you start?

Hey tonimaroni2! Congrats on starting tomorrow! Unfortunately, alcoholic drinks are absolutely not allowed on the diet. You probably know this already, but alcohol is packed with calories, and mixers are usually very sugary, another no-no on this diet. I know it's also going to be a major struggle for me with all the parties coming up. When you start the diet, make sure you join the group mailing list ASAP! They're a great source of motivation and will definitely help you resist the temptation.

Sophie: Thats really great. Where you are now is exactly where i want to be. So how long it did it take you? When did people really start noticing the weight loss? Also another thing you mentioned is that you worked out like crazy? I do too and i was wondering the office say anything against working out a lot? I do about an hour of cardio five times a week.

To everyone whos also worried about parties. I just decided to skip a limo party and a really good friends one. The way i look it is that i can make up for them later and NOTHING will feel as good as losing this weight and getting rid of it for ever. Think about it, after Halloween there will be Christmas parties, and then New years and more birthday parties. Also if i really want to go for Halloween i am just going to be sober. Good luck to everyone!

Lose25, I'm at 141 as of this morning. I'm on a veggie day today, and I have another one tomorrow. I've noticed that I drop way more pounds on milk days than veg. In a week, I've lost 4 pounds. It could have been way more if I hadn't cheated, but that's still not bad!

Sophiesnowangel, I'm not sure if you've answered this already, but how long have you been doing the diet?

Here's to a perfect week, everyone!!
