Ah I've been MIA, just been so busy lately!! I'm absolutely terrible at this diet--I cheat about once a week. It's really not good. It's really hard to stick to it once you've cheated one time, I think...well anyhow, I'm down to 135.4 as of this morning, but I cheated today Who knows where I'm at now. I haven't weighed this little since maybe my freshman or sophomore year of high school, about 4 years ago. I weighed myself as soon as I got home and it registered at 139, so I'm hoping that goes down a bit before my usual weigh-in time in the morning. I feel like I'm self-sabotaging because I'm so close to my goal. Anyone know how to overcome this??

WE CAN DO THIS!!

to LillyLover I would just say do not cheat for 3 weeks to 1 month straight & you'll be at your goal by 1st week of December. You're lucky your so low!! I have a good 80 more lbs to go But if we can both stop cheating we'll be there in no time!!!

Lose25: Were you asking me?

I started at 155 (dressed no shoes) in Dr.S.'s office. I dropped again this weekend and I am 126 (undressed) this morning. My goal was 130 but I am thinking 124 and I may go for a couple of more. I have a pair of size 4 Gap leather pants that I can get on but not zipped. I saved them all these years and it has been my personal joke to fit in them again. I am working my butt off at the gym as my schedule permits.

I am not the poster child for this diet because I cheated and did my own thing many times. I got my first set of beads the first of August then went on vacation. I sometimes only changed beads 2x a month because of my travel schedule.

However the results are great, I am thrilled, and I no longer have an appetite for high calorie foods. That is what I find the most amazing.

CandyCoated Symphony: Get yourself together you can do this! The first 15 lbs. off and you will be on your way. I wish I were 5'6" then I would be really skinny. Those 15 will really show.

Hey all!

Been super busy, but just wanted to update you guys. I've been on the diet a month (as of last week) and have lost 20lbs so far. Woot! I've had a stressful week, so I haven't been at my best, BUT I'm still trying hard.

hope everyone is doing well!

Tamni Congrats!!! Keep at it.

Sophies now angel. Thanks so much for sharing! I have been avoiding this thread because i cheated big time and was a 143 as of yesterday! And i am not the perfect child poster either which is why your story inspires me so much. Question: Did you resue any of your points? Because i do even though i am told not to. But it works perfectly. Hope to hear from you more!

LIlly: Congrats on your weight loss!

Hello all, checking in again, I started Phase 6 of the program. I must admit I love this program. If you can just get through a cycle without cheating the results are so worth it. I am not endorsing this for anyone, but when I feel like cheating, I do it after every weigh-in - I treat myself to a nice meal - nothing too crazy, but I will have grilled fish, grilled shrimp and a nice veggie or salad and JUMP BACK ON PROGRAM THE NEXT DAY/CYCLE FAITHFUL!! This weekend I received my Phase 5 results, 9lbs and 8 inches. To date since starting 9/3/2010 I am down 29lbs and over 40 inches...I started at 228 and I am now 199...I'm in ONDERLAND...and thrilled..I lost 3 dress sizes. I started this program wearing 18W (and some 20W) I purchased 3 pairs of size 14 jeans, not 14W...Regular size 14 - bc all my other jeans just sag..very unattractive..I am soo overjoyed...when they say DON'T CHEAT...listen!! Because you only cheat yourself. It was said earlier in the thread if you tell yourself THIS IS TEMPORARY you will get through it...I tell myself that time and time again and it works...and drink your water and green tea..Those of you who are close to goal..hang tight..don't sabotage yourself..I would love to see 130s or 140s by March/April 2011..I have about 50lbs to go..and I know I will, but I do know this that at the end of November I will definitely be in a size 12 that is why I am fighting to keep my focus. If you follow the plan the right way you can do a size a month..and I love it!! KEEP IT UP LADIES..YOU ARE WORTH IT AND SO DESERVING!! Wheew that was a long post...HAVE A GREAT CLEAN EATING CYCLE...DON'T CHEAT YOURSELF!! YOU DESERVE TO BE SKINNY!!!

And so at the end of every cycle you have one day of eating meals?? And your still losing? I think thats a great idea but could you please elaborate more. BEcause if so i would also loved to do that if i gets me through phases without any cheating. AGain congrats on your weight loss! HOw is everyone else doing?

Lose 25 - I do the accupressure as you gals, however, it is through a different center. I go to the center in Lakewood/Manasquan area. I love it! I weigh myself all the time, however, this time around I decided to stop weighing daily and to weigh only once a week. My balls are placed and taped right below my ear lobe behind the ear, they do not move until I change phases (and the center moves them) I rotate every 2 hours and at my SET Times..this time 4pm/7pm also...As for cheating...its hard, you have to fight through it...but can be done..you gotta want this!! Sunday I weighed in...then afterwards, (not center approved but I did it anyway) I went out to dinner with my kids..ate Red Lobster..I know some will say SHAME ON YOU!! whatever! I ate grilled shrimp, salad, broccoli and yes, cheddar biscuit. It was yummy! I did not overindulge ... bc our stomachs shrink you can't eat much...I wrapped the rest to go..and haven't touched it since..and I've been faithful since Sunday at 7pm..bc I don't have the desire to cheat now (that doesn't mean I am not surrounded by temptation) I want to drop more weight by my next weigh-in in about 12 days...so between now and then I can lose 5-6 lbs so why eat chips, pizza or any other crap that will derail me. Not worth it. Like I said I have an abundance of outfits available to me now..I am a shopaholic..I have so many wonderful outfits waiting for me..and skinny jeans..etc. I want my size 8 by February/March..so I will not let daily cheats slow me down..I do one cheat (NOT A BIG ONE) on my weigh-in day..and stay clean. I hope this helps...you are where I want to be...STAY FOCUS!! YOU CAN DO IT...YOU DESERVE IT - THIS IS TEMPORARY...

Mom2

Who is the office you are referencing?

I love the diet and my success but have a bit of an issue with my office. Wouldn't mind an alternative and I am in NJ too.

BTW good going - don't buy too many items of clothing yet.

MOM2 thank you so much for your words. There is an accubead thread and 'support group' that i sometimes post to but their so harsh and make it seem like once you cheat you may as well quit. Thats why i ask so many questions. Also you talk about your phases. How long are your phases? For example for me the phases last nine days and after that you change your point. BUt i cant afford to buy any more points so i am going on transition until i can afford it again. I actually started at 172.
lbs and got to 150 and coulndt afford it. Stopped and started again. Thanks for the encouragment i appreciate it. I think the way you do it is so much better. Because you at least have something to look forward to at the end of your phase.

Sophiesnowangel Question: Did you resue any of your points? Also you said you only changed your beads twice a month and i am assuming it still worked? Also did you do transition and then maintenance?

Thanks to both for answering my quetions and the encouragment! Good luck to everyone! I also have decided to weigh once a week. My next weigh in is friday ill keep you guys updated.

CandyCoatedSymphony, thanks for the support We CAN and WILL do this!!

Lose25, I'm really glad you voiced your concerns about the email group. I feel the same way, but couldn't figure out if I was just being too sensitive. I know that I work better with encouragement, not tough love. Which is why I turn to 3FC instead!

I've been so AWOL lately...probably because I've been cheating and I would rather not share my failures on this diet. I've plateaued at the mid-130s because of the cheating. I really do think it's because I'm so close to my goal that I'm getting too relaxed. I do read all of your posts though, and it's great to see everyone's progress!!

Mom2gbsb, I do like your idea of a planned cheat day...I may go that route but I'm not sure yet. I really only cheat in social situations, so I don't know if that's the best way for me. Hunger is not an issue for me! It's all about being around others and wanting to be "normal," I think. This diet is really eye-opening to me, showing me what my triggers. Now I can really focus on those triggers and work on overcoming them.

well well well - the email gorup is a turn off to others too? Go figure.

I have been researching thie mechaincs of the diet on my own because I knew I wasn't on it 100%. I traveled so much that going to the office to change beads was hard to work in my schedule so I went longer than you should.

BUT I still kept losing even with varying from the diet per se and using common sense. I do believe in the acupressure so I put the beads on myself just to see what that did and will let you know. (I am at goal remember.) Anyway I found this link and this may answer part of the chemistry of milk days. I do not have enough posts to add a link so add in the h and w's in front. It is about eating yogurt and is very interesting.

Hi all...

Sophie: I attend the program directed by Infinite Possibilities now in Manasquan on Route 35, previously in Lakewood on Route 70. I personally enjoy doing the program there because they emphasize cleansing the body of preservatives and eating organic. But you know, I find this program to be pretty simple and easy to follow, but definitely take WILLPOWER.

Lose25: Yes, this can be expensive. Funds are tight in this crazy economy. However, I see no problem in re-using your beads. The key is knowing where to place them. I did research and you must be extremely careful where you place them so it says. But then again, how do we know if the bead place even know what they are doing. LOL. Hey, if you are not sure where to put them, I say follow the eating plan as clean as possible, do not eat before 11am and certainly do not eat at 7pm and you should still have success. My best friend's husband did the plan without the beads. Faithful as a lamb, no cheating or deviating, he lost 28 lbs in 30 days...that is men for you. However, my only concern is I do believe the bead definitely massages the hypothalmus gland and sends the signal to our brain that we are not hungry so we dont go into starvation mode bc this is an extremely low caloric eating plan. That is my only concern whether without beads if you would be in starvation mode. But I think you can still have success if you follow the plan and perhaps eat a minimal of 800-1000 calories thats low, but not as low as it could be on the beads...you follow me?

LilyLover...I do my planned cheats for sure, like I said it is not Center endorsed and I am sure those on the other forum would scream abusive words at me. I don't care..it keeps me focused!! Its working for me...maybe that cheat set me back 1 day..and my body has to kick back on to burn fat, but its better than cheating a little everyday and my body not doing anything right? I say try it. I know social events are hard. But work through it .. you deserve it. Sometimes we are so busy looking for others to sabotage us and we sabotage ourselves. I went out to dinner and movie with friends on Friday night...a little planned cheat...I had a Cobb Salad at TGIF...talk about little..OMG...they gave me about 1oz chicken, 1oz bacon, cheese, olives, and a few slices of avocado and italian dressing, i took my fork and dabbed the dressing on the lettuce leaves...just for taste..and enjoyed the salad, now again not Center approved but I enjoyed it...and my friends brought popcorn at the theater...I was not tempted at all..bc I had my cheat and I was not about to go down the slippery slope of artificial butter with the popcorn. You know what? I hopped on scale the next morning and was still down a pound. Does it always work, don't know...but I know it didn't hurt me. I was happy that I enjoyed an evening out. I hope this works for you, I know it helps me..I got 50lbs to go and I can't see staying on this 90 days straight eating strictly clean (no cheats)..even if the center promised me 50lb would be gone by the 90th day ..I don't care..if it takes me 100-120 days so be it..I am having my plan cheats after weigh-ins.
