Lilly I am sorry you cheated. BUt keep going! Remember how stuck you were at 138 and the same thing was happening? Well you got past it and YOU WILL get PAST this also. Just keep going and have a perfecr day tomorrow.

Annleslie Even though i dont have children, i can relate a bit. I live with my mom and she cookes amazing alll the time everyday lunch and dinner. The smell kills me, and out of four i am the only one not eating Moreover my mom will sometimes make me a plate and shove it in my hands. What i find really helps is drinking diet coke, tea with sweetner, or chewing bubble gum sugar free that is. And alsot my mom and two of my sisters also disapprove of the diet and think i am being unhealthy and obsessive. I really hope that helps.

LETS All have a perfect day tomorrow!

What is it about nighttime???

I had a perfect day until 9PM, then I ate peanut butter and cheese like an animal.

What is it about mistakes that make you give up and go overboard with cheating???

I felt so guilty for having PB and CHZ, so I said WTH and had 2 poptarts. *Sick*

Aaaand I'm definitely paying for the cheat last night...up to 134.8 today. Hopefully I can get back down by tomorrow or Tuesday. Thanks for the encouragement, everyone

Congrats on the loss, Lose25!!

Overstressedmom, do you mean how much does it cost to be on this plan? Well, if you're going to be on the long distance plan, it's $175 for a starter set that will last you nearly a month. Every time after that is $50 per set of beads, which last you a maximum of 9 days. The website www.accuweight.com has all that kind of information, you should check it out!

Let's go for a perfect, cheat-free week this week!! I think we all could really use it, especially with the food monstrosity that is Thanksgiving coming up! I know this is terrible thinking, but I am leaning toward just accepting that it will be a cheat day for me. Oops. I don't know yet though...it all depends on how close I get to goal by then.

Hi everyone!! I was on this forum a few months back doing this diet, then things got a lil crazy in my life so I gave up.

Now I'm ready to re-focus and start over fresh.

I really like this group b/c everyone is so positive and supportive and I definitely need the support.

Oh, I know. I have been thinking about have a mini Accuweight Thanksgiving before going to a big Thanksgiving dinner.

I found these recipes on the site that I think I will make for my mini Thanksgiving:

1) Mashed Cauliflower (Instead of potatoes) OR 1) Baked Butternut Squash with Walden Farm's Pancake Syrup

2) French Green Beans with Mushrooms in Vegetable Broth OR 2) Roasted Brussel Sprouts with Garlic

3) Crust-less Apple Pie OR 3) Cran-Applesauce

AND

4) No Crust Pumpkin Pie OR 4) Pumpkin Cake

I am going to worry less about quantity that day and more about food quality.

prettypink Welcome and second time is the charm i think. I did it back in may also quit and started end of september. You can do it this time. Good luck.

Annleslie
those reciepes are a great idea.

Lilly if you think your going to cheat just do it on healthy food.

Last night was a disaster for me. I binged on THREE bagles and over 1500 in chocolate calories and omre. I COULDNT even stop. I have no idea whats wrong with me. I feel discuted and just gross . The reason for this i think is because i havent had a proper meal in so long and moreover no meat for even longer. WHich i dont miss at all. It seems like the sugar is my biggest and only problem. The rest of the stuff i was binging on was just i dont know a binge. I am so disappointed in myself i feel like a huge failure. i was doing so well in the beginning now its just down hill. i am sure i am up more then 3 lbs but i refuse to weigh myself. i am worried and scared of failing again.

Morning ladies-

I don't know what it is about night.. I wanted to eat a horse last night, but I suspect it was because I had to cook dinner for a friend of mine who was staying over. I ate an entire bowl (4 servings LOL) of sugar free jello... I know we're not supposed to have that much, but I figured it was better than busting into the rosemary blue cheese biscuits and bean soup i made for her. (mmmmm waaaah! it's temporary, it's temporary, it's temporary... )

I DID want to mention a fabulous find.. oh Trader Joe's.. how would I live my life without you!? So, bead diet or not, I live and die by these folks. I love this store, they have so many cool things and they're not insanely expensive.

If you're near one? They had in the fruit/veg section a "Guacamole Kit". No mixes, just 2 Avocados, a small onion, a few cloves of garlic, one jalapeno, a lime, and 2 beautiful tomatoes. I had it yesterday with celery sticks and cucumber "chips" (i just get an english cuke - the long ones with no (little) seeds) and slice it on the diagonal - great for dipping.. for salsa too ), and I swear - it was *so* fabulous...

Can I buy all of those things on their own? Sure.. but as it turns out? I'm lazy, and the kit was less than $4.

Trader Joes? Brang it.

Have a great day ladies! Milk day for me, going to try some milk soup with Molly McButter "cheese sprinkles"..

Christine

Oh and - Annleslie?

The Mashed Cauliflower is *fab*. It's a staple for me, and it's great with a little thyme, black pepper, a pinch of salt, and some Butter Buds (or Molly McButter). Someone mentioned Butter extract. I am looking for it at the store today. I think it'd be a good addition to milk soup.. so I'll report back

Lose25, it's not you. It's deprivation that gets the best of you. The best Accuweight can offer for the physical cravings is the bead massage, and for the emotional cravings, the Chi Gong. In the mornings, we are generally busy and throughout the day, but when evening comes, it is typically time to wind down and that unoccupied state may leave us more susceptible to temptation to accomodate our deprivation. That's my best guess. I know that Accuweight is all-natural, but I wonder if some of us might need that something extra, like a diet aid, at nighttime. The only thing that helped me last night was consuming 2 tablespoons of flaxseed, which is a fulfilling fiber. Yes, it added some calories, but it's quite nutritive, too.

HeldenMommy, Trader Joe's is a regular thing for me. Unfortunately, they also have too many temptations for me.

Now, where do I find this Molly McButter stuff? Is it butter or cheese? Is it calorie free? Is it refrigerated? I looked for it today in the baking aisle, and it wasn't there. Is it a free food on Accuweight?

I found Miracle Noodles today at, of all places, 7-11. Has anyone tried these? I purchased a small package of the noodles and another small package of rice. They're so small that it looks like I could inhale them. And very small for the price...$2.89 each. I am going to try one of them with some eggplant, mushrooms and garlic today. Hmmm.

Lose25 thanks 4 the warm welcome & yea I feel more determined then ever this time!!

HeldenMommy I love avocados too!! I look forward to them every veggie day, I usually make the same dish every veggie day & I love it!! Cauliflower rice, with some "unfried" plantains" & avocado. Its just like a Spanish dish w/o the meat. So yummy!!

& does anyone have the mashed cauliflower recipe?? I read somewhere that you bake Or roast?) them till their crispy then mash em up & add seasonings? That sounds about right but if anyone has a specific recipe can ya please post it?
