Half Marathon prep week...
+3.1 at the park, 3/15
+3.1 on the treadmill, 3/17
+3.1 on the treadmill, 3/19
+13.1 at the ING Georgia Half Marathon! 2:29:20! Woo hoo!
And as of right now I'm ahead of the bunny. We'll see if that momentum continues, I just registered for the Peachtree Road Race... A historic 10k run in HOTlanta on July 4th. What the heck am I thinking?

I'd love to join in...I'm new to running and about to do my first 5k in a few weeks, this will help keep me motivated! I am going to start with what I've done the past week.
another 2.5 today. I realized I'm starting kinda late and will need 4 miles a day to make the goal.. I'm JUST starting to exercise again... I guess I'm gonna be real sore.
gettnfit. Dont think of it that way, there is still a long time to go. 4 miles a day may be really hard now, but by October you could be tossing in a few longer efforts that space it all out.
I think it's been 2 weeks since I checked in. 28.1 2 weeks ago - I got stressed out with pre vacation stuff and then 53.5 this week. This was supposed to be my big week for the marathon but I just didnt have a long run in me this weekend. This is the most scattered and sporadic training I've ever done.
I'm at 197.3 for the month so I should make the 200 goal easily but wont make much catchup on the deficit from February. 559.8 for the year
I've now registered for the Peachtree Road Race (10k) in July & the Georgia Marathon in March 2011, going to register for the Locomotive Half Marathon in September once registration opens on 4/1, likely to do a 5k in May, looking for a 10k in December or January, maybe another half in there, too, if I think I'll make marathon in March and haven't stepped down to half by then. Hoping the Atlanta Track Club does the Resolution Run (10k) on 1/1/2011 again, it was convenient. I still find it somewhat surreal that I have an entire year of races scheduled.
