I'm back in training. I jogged for 3 miles non-stop yesterday and today I was able to grind out 4 miles non-stop. I've updated my ticker. My first ever race will be on May 16th (Colfax Marathon). I'm part of a relay team so I don't have to do all 26 miles. I was kind of worried that 6 miles would kill me. But after today, I have new found confidence and look forward to more training.
My kids left for college, then my beloved MIL got sick and she passed. I completely lost focus and am still trying to get it back. I finally ordered the Garmin 305 that Jo had told me she used, way back when I was on track and I am back. Older, wiser, fatter, but back. Just gonna have to juggle it all with taking care of FIL, whom I also adore.
Anyway, started jogging again Saturday have approx 7 miles this week & will be able to keep track on he Garmin now, hoping that will entice me to up it!
gonna round it from what I had at the beginning of the year and call it
35/1000!
Took the mutts out for 2.5 after work again today...we should go more tomorrow....I have to watch the miles with one of my dogs, she has arthritis in one leg and we try to not over do it with her.
Wish I had my camera with me, saw a big old momma turtle this morning~
I hope you were passing the turtle and it not passing you MOTHERMAVIS

Angie and I went over to the park where we will be family camping, about 20 of us next month, to check our spots for shade. Got in 2.5 to 3 around the trails with the mutts.
