I'm down 2.7lbs this week. I don't think I'm going to make my 4th of July goal of 275lbs. But I'm still working towards it. I'll be home in the USA in 9 days! CRAZY!!!!

UGH! My laptop died yesterday afternoon. I dropped it of to see what's wrong with it and get it fixed. The girl at the repair counter said it would be 2-3 WEEKS! At least my computer isn't the only one in the house, but now I have to share with the kids and hubby.
I have been OP and walked 2 miles today.
I know a lot of people are traveling or getting ready to; I hope you all have fun ad safe travels.

Sorry, been kinda MIA lately. We had bad cell signal in Wisconsin (where we were the past few days for the family get-together), so haven't been able to keep up lately! Back home for a few days now, so I will try to start reading some of the "back" threads and see what's up with everyone.

I ate WAY too much last week. Between the college workshop and the family get-together, there was just too much food. Thankfully I was very active, but there's no way it's going to balance out in my favor. Going to weigh in Wednesday morning (before we leave for another camping trip) and hope a couple of days back strictly OP will make the WI a little more bearable! Way too scared to WI today.

I don't see myself making my goal by the 4th, but I will still keep trying to get as close as I can! Looking ahead to July, it's going to be a challenge...we have our annual 4-day music/camping fest we attend each year. Lots of alcohol involoved with that one...then I'm gonig to Vegas at the end of the month. Realistically, if I don't GAIN between now and August, I think I will be pretty happy.

Hope everyone is having a good 1st day of summer

Hello.
Been working long hours and jumping on when I can. Today is my off day and I got up went to the gym. Did two miles, one I jogged and the other I walked/jogged. I've been eating 1300-1400 calories and feeling good.

I'm wearing a size 14 today. I think it's on the large end of 14 but they feel good on me. I also have a pair of 14s that I couldn't get above my hips before the challenge started but I got in them and buttoned and zipped them. They are too tight to wear out of the house but I'm feeling good about that.
Shylah - You sound like you are ready for the TSPs. Are you??? I'm ready to put them in the mail!!!
Northern - I was thinking about the family reunion coming up in three weeks wondering how I will avoid overeating. My sister can COOK and her husband fries a turkey that is OMG!!!
Shan - Congrats on the loss!! Keep up the good work. 9 more days and you will be STATESIDE!!! NICE
Lori - Glad you are feeling better.
KDM - Go head Girl!! My plan is to work out while I'm away for the family reunion...MY PLAN!!

I got a very unexpected check in the mail on Friday from the estate of my godmother in England. She passed away in December at the age of 100, but I wasn't expecting anything from her will as she had spent several years in a very costly nursing facility and I assumed all her money had gone to taking care of her. However, she had remembered me in her will and I was very touched and grateful! Hubby and I have a rule that gifts (in all forms - birthday, work bonus, etc) are not to be "household" funds, but are instead to be used for indulgences you may not otherwise enjoy. So I have decided to spend at least half of it on new workout gear - there are some running tights and shorts I've been dying to try but at $80 or so per piece, that is definitely an indulgence. Now I shall get a pair or two! Also some more running socks and bras - you can NOT run in 90 degree heat without excellent wicking underwear! The remaining funds will go to some other kind of splurge - possibly a massage while on our cruise, which we leave for on Sunday! I cannot WAIT for this trip - so freakin' excited!!

Lori: Glad to hear you're feeling better. I had the stomach crud a couple months back...NOT fun!

Jiggle: Size 14's! How exciting!! Hopefully that will motivate you not to eat too much at the family reunion...I do hope you will do better than I did, yikes!

Jules: Sorry to hear about your godmother's passing, but how nice of her to remember you. 100 years, wow!

Shylah: excited for you getting the TSP's! I hope to be ready for them one of these days

I feel good being back OP today. Did my 40 minute weights DVD and hopped on the elliptical for 15. Going to hit the cardio a little harder tomorrow, and maybe some yoga.

Going to try to do at least a 30 minute walk everyday when we're camping later this week. We do keep active fishing and stuff, but I need to keep the "formal" exercise routine going throughout the summer. Planning healthy camping food is a little bit of a challenge, but unlike last week, at least I will have some control over what's put on my plate, lol.

Later!

Northern, are you sure you don't want the TSP first? my body isn't really cooperating, I'd totally use them as goal pants. I have nothing under an 18 to see.

Let me know Otherwise, I'm looking forward to the package!!

Thanks y'all~Back The storm passed I hate storms that come with wind & lightening! My grandmother use to babysit me when I was a kid alot (she is passed away when I was 15) Anyways when even a simple storm would come she would grab out the bible & read aloud outta psalms ~the verses of though I walk through the valley of shadow of death I shall fear no evil & so on! She sacred the sh*T Outta me! I have been terrified ever since of them.
I thought if wise grandma (then in her late 70's) thinks were gonna die then were gonna die from this storm LOL!~Anyways I know it's kinda silly but Scard the crap outta me & My hubby went on a nature walk & I was crying like a maniac when he got back home~but he was in the woods & it was lightening badly & I was worried a tree would fall on him or he would get struck!(that was truly a bad thing to do be in a bad storm in the woodsa round trees!)~He has figured out that the more painful exercise he does of a day the better his body handles the rheumatoid arthritis.~Anywas my kids was laughing at me~The 9 year old was scared though ~I am usually braver when the hubby is home ~but The older 2 think I am funny about it~(there 12 & 17) But I hope the little one doesn't take after me & be scared of them all his life ~I mean I am terrifed of them! whew had to get that off my chest LOL!

Good evening ladies. I'm falling asleep but I thought I'd check in. I'm at work- the overnight never showed so I have to do part of the overnight. Ah well, extra hours.

I had a bad weekend, heehee, but it was "planned", so I'm not going to beat myself up over it. I don't want to know how many calories I had, haha.

I went over calories today but on healthy things- I needed to eat a little while ago to try to get some energy for this partial overnight. Thankfully, I only have an hour to go.

Tomorrow I'm going to be very disciplined. I didn't get my exercise in today (besides the normal running around, but that doesn't count) but will do extra tomorrow.
