First: thank you to everyone who wrote me such nice stuff the other day.

Now, I gotta get back on track and keep my stuff together... Depression or not, I have a job to do.

I played with fire for a few days, and today the scale told me I got burned.

Time to quit messing around.

awwww man...my coffee is out! booooooo

Hello to everyone.
No workout yesterday, i got dressed TWICE in my workout clothes and would get interrupted, i KNEW i should have worked out in the morning when I had a chance. Today i plan on doing some step aerobics then some upper body weights. I'm walking the dog this evening too.

I took yesterday off on counting...it was SO NICE, I really needed that. Made me appreciate how good i feel when i eat healthy. My stomach was hurting by the end of the day and i kept this 'buzz' all day from all the bad foods. I ended the day at about maintenance(calories) for me so im not worried about it It was a nice break!

A few personals...

SHAN-LOVE YOUR NEW AVATAR...i agree, your melting away girlfriend!!!

westernsoutherngirl- I love when butterflies pay me a visit on my walks. There so uplifting and beautiful! We have a lot of the monarch butterflies around here.

Jiggle-love your new hair style...its so adorable on you!!! And i agree with your trainer on increasing your calories on run days (not that im an expert or anything, just going by experience). I will be ravenous after a long run, protein seems to help me a lot.

Susie-I will have to go look at what Freedieting says about calorie zig zagging..i kinda do it loosely right now too. Would love to do it on some kind of schedule. Oh..and I'm getting that mushy/jiggly feeling in my stomach fat...maybe its getting ready to fall off..fingers crossed

Farn-Love your avatar too...nice to see you back!

ok,thats it for me today...gotta be getting off the computer. I will check back in tomorrow. Have a good day guys!

LETS GO

ETA- GOT MY WORKOUT in...did some step aerobic then some upper body work. I burned 630 calories..yay! k.later gators.

Good morning all!

I'm feeling pretty good today. SPAIN WON THE WORLD CUP!! I celebrated with a few drinks that night...and a cookie- and I weighed myself a little while later and the scale said 132!! So, at night, with a full belly- I haven't gained anything. That put me in a good mood!

I've been very on plan the past few days, except for exercise- my schedule has been hectic and I haven't had time. But I plan on hopping on the treadmill and doing some resistance work later. I've also been wearing my new FitFlops the past few days- they're wonderful!

Next week I'm on vacation- woo-hoo!!

Alright, just thought I'd do a quick update- catch you gals later!

Just a quick check in. The scale said 205 this morning, whoohoo! I've been staying on plan and am well on my way of going 1000 minutes of cardio this month.

Keep up the great work and progress, all!

Good Afternoon,
I'm back from the run and I feel great. I ate my lunch and I should be over 2 liters of water today. I've been doing well on that front also. Okay, so I've been having a great time these last couple weeks. Four more mile til I make goal. I will be trying on the small size14 jeans this weekend, well actually Thursday to see how close I am. I will be in NO for the family reunion this weekend. I will keep in touch because I will update you all on how I do via my blackberrry...yes I have a crackberry and yes I'm addicted!!!
Misspriss - protein is good for me too. I try to keep in on hand so I can refuel.
Kaelah - Keep that scale moving...you'll be in ONEderland in no time.
Corinne - When I heard Spain won I thought about you. I was wondering if you were celebrating. I think it's great that you were able to celebrate and not gain. That's pretty awesome. Enjoy your vacation!!!
M3 - Glad you're back on track. Happy to see you aren't going to stay in the rut. Get up dust yourself off and get moving...we all have our moments.

for every mile I run...gotta get to 10...willing to go beyond!!

I've missed a few days... been a bit crazy here with DH home for his school break, but he went back to LA on Sunday so things are getting back to normal. I was down 4.8lbs for the week but I'm betting at least 3lbs of that is water weight from the cruise (and a ridiculously high sodium intake the entire week on the ship). Anyway - good start. I made an appointment with a nutritionist - actually I believe she's a registered dietician, though I don't know what the difference is - so I'll be going there in a couple of weeks. I have to keep a food journal for five days before my appointment, which should be easy as I already track what I eat. I just want someone to give me guidance on what to eat and how much to eat - I know many people use the online calorie calculators and have great success but I don't seem to be able to find that magic balance where I can lose weight and yet not be hungry. I also have an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon tomorrow to get my useless knee checked out - since I stopped running a week ago, it hurts MORE - I am constantly aware of the pain, and at times it "zings" me and literally takes my breath away. Sick of it!

In other news - it is hotter than heck here. 110 today and humid (for us - around 20%). We're in the worst months now (July and August are rarely below 110 daytime and 90 overnight) and August will probably bring the rains, so it's not a whole bundle of fun. Just means all workouts must be indoors (for safety as well as practicality - heat stroke is very real here!). Oh well - I can't run anyway so I don't really care about being outside.

Jiggle: your hair is cute! How long a drive is it for y'all to NOLA?

Lori: Congrats to your hubby! That's awesome for him and your family!

Kaelah! You're so close to OneDerland!! You'll be there in no time!

I'm Op today on my calories (1525 goal) today via the zig-zag. I didn't exercise today, I hurt my heel yesterday and it's painful! I'll get back to it tomorrow, though. I may do an every other day thing for a while and see how that works out.

Default CC Diets

Hi All,

Finally managed to get time to get back to the website. I work on the computer all day and sometimes I just can't look at one more thing! I am trying to find a diet and exercise plan I can stick with. Can any of you tell me what you are currently doing right now? I have trouble with chips and pop as well as not working out since I sit in a chair to work. Sometimes portion control can be an issue as well.

I love reading the back posts trying to catch up. I have really seen some amazing weight loss for some people. I hope I can be a part of the group and keep up.

charmtime- My original goal was 125lbs , when I got there I just continued to lose weight so fast that i just kept going. Once I hit 104lbs. , I felt it was too thin. So I gained a pound and I just feel so good at 105 I decided that's where I want to stay. I guess you could say it's my feel good weight, you'll find yours too. For 5'3 my range is supposed to be between 104 and 141lbs. , I have a small frame though, so 105 looks fine on me.

Well I completely blew it yesterday. My husbands day off as usual, I never can control myself when he's home all day eating whatever he pleases in front of me. Or we end up going out to eat which is even worse, yesterday was a japanese buffet. I didn't touch the hot food, no way! I stuck with the salad and fruit bar, then I did something very stupid. I tried some desserts, it was so good I kept going up for more. Then later I had this huge craving for peanut butter and chocolate, I didn't have p.b, so we went to the market and I bought chocolate everything, skipped the p.b because we now had reese's cups (his favorite). I ended up having 5700 cal yesterday, then today I finished off the chocolate frozen yogurt we got( 10 servings) and I had 2460 cal today. It's all gone now thank goodness! I already gained 3lbs, with more to come I'm sure!

Hello Everybody

Lori congratulations to your hubby! That's wonderful for him and your family

Jiggle love the braids

Hi Lollapalooza

Wish me luck on the scales tomorrow, I ate way too many calories today. The funny thing is I don't feel like I over ate. But still it was much more than I typically eat and not as much walking as normal. Have a great evening
