Wishing you all a very successful day!

I'll join in on this challenge. My goal for this challenge is to stick with my plan each and every day through Labor Day,

and to do something nice for myself each day!

I have a hunch that by sticking with it, I'll be back in my favorite clothes by Labor Day.

I'm feeling good right now. I just got back from the gym and I cut 38 seconds off my mile run. I'm wondering though...why do my legs feel bigger in my pants after I finish running??

Misspriss - When I lived in Alaska I loved hiking...now it's just a distant memory, have fun!!!
Silver - this is a great group and very motivating.
Lollapalooza - I'm a calorie counter. I eat about 1200-1600 calories a day. I work a desk job and go to the gym on my lunch break or after work depending on what the day looks like. Start with something small like if you eat chips everyday...skip a day. But if you eat them multiple times a day skip them one time. Do something small and once you conquer that do something else. For me it had to be all of a sudden because doing things gradually didn't work for me. Once you get going you can keep going.
Love2b150 - I trust the scales were good to you this morning!!! Thanks for the compliment. I love them because they don't require much.
Lori - Tell hubby I'm a day late but happy 20 months and congratulations!!!
Susie - The drive will take 7.5 hours. Hopefully we can leave in the weee hours of the morning and get there before heat rises!! Hope the baby is well and you are having time to rest.

for every mile

Well I haven't been able to get to my boot camp program for two days now. The day before yesterday I went to a concert and we just exhausted in the morning so there was no way I'm going. This morning I woke up to leg pain so bad I could hardly walk. Boo.

I'm not going to lie, 180lbs by Labor Day seems a little impossible for me right now.

Oh and I also decided to up my calories in an attempt to stop myself from stalling out. I was eating about 1200 calories a day, and now I'm going to 1400-1600 a day. It makes me feel like I'm always eating lol

Ok so....
I was 222 for a few days and then I binged really bad the day before yesterday (tho I did my 3.5 mile walk TWICE that day to make up for it)

Anyways BAM--yesterday I was 226 (HOLY CRAP!)... I KNOW I couldn't have gained 4lbs in a day... But it still felt pretty bad to see that number.

Then today, I was down to 221... So I guess yesterday's "gain" was salt from my binge, and maybe not hydrating enough after doing double on my workout routine?

Crazy things sometimes, those scales...
(PS--It was definitely not TOM-related)

Did you weigh yourself at a different time of the day? I've found it's best for me to avoid doing that! It could have been the salt though. I'm amazed by how bloated I get when I have something that's higher in salt than I'm currently used to. I definitely need to buy low-sodium soy sauce.

Jiggle - when you use your muscles, they retain water. so right after a work out, your legs would be bigger. So that's why your pants feel tighter. They let go of the water through out the day so they shrink again

WesternSouthern: I've been wondering how the new scales did for you this morning??

Welcom Silver! This is a great group of supporters.

I am not loving doing the strict Calorie thing on the zig-zag. I feel so boxed in! All I'm thinking about is food! I'll finish out the week and see if it did any difference. I like just staying w/in my 1400-1600 range I feel like I have more wiggle room. I reached my max at supper last night, no room for any snack and then my baby boy was eating an ice cream bar and it was about to drip and I licked the drip off and thought, "oh no! now I'm over my calories!!" LOL I didn't really stress, but it does feel too restrictive to me.

I only count what I weigh in the morning. (I do weigh myself other times in the day, but those are for "entertainment purposes only")
