having a hard time trying to get time in this weekend.. hoped I would have a lot more than I do have. Maybe tonight I will find some time. It is supposed to storm big time for 2 days
Personal total ~ 335-35=300 left to go!!! (Feb goal is 800 minutes)
I tried a new video I got - Indi hip-hop with Veena and Neena (I really like their beginner bellydance series). It was rather challenging, so I just modified everything. I think I just like some general guidance and the idea that someday I will be able to do it. It was 30 minutes, which brings my personal total to 405.
Okay, I did my weights and the treadmill today, for a total of 61 minutes! I am finally caught up with where I need to be goal wise (and am even ahead of where I need to be). So, the new group total...
I can't boast any extras today, but I am still proud that I managed to fit in my goal exercises. I still did 40mins of treadmill in the morning, even though it was hair wash day and I am usually pushed for time on these days. I just made sure I got up a little earlier. I also still did my 30mins on the exercise bike even though it was much later as I just did it after my parent/teacher meeting. So, that isn't too bad really. Before, I would have just done maybe 20mins on the treadmill and I possibly would have skipped the bike altogether as I had a good excuse... kinda... sorta. So all told, not too bad a day.
I can add something to the group total. I hadn't been to the gym in about a year and I really had to talk myself into going today. The embarassment whisper kicked in but I reminded myself that I had gotten over it before and would again AND I DID.
I walked on the treadmill for 47 minutes and completed 1.77 miles .
Group total is now 5829 + 47 = 5876.
Kayley - I love that when you're bored you get in a little bit of exercise; maybe I'll give that a shot.
only 15 minutes for me today. Going to work out tonight when hubby gets home and we finish grocery shopping. I like watching my sitcoms while riding my bike

I went to the gym tonight and tried to get back on the elliptical, however it is still too much for me. I did 5 minutes there and 35 on the treadmill, which brings my personal total to 445.
Well I didn't go to the gym on Thursday OR Friday and I never go on weekends, but yesterday I ended up shoveling for half an hour. I am counting that as exercise because dang it! Shoveling is HARD!
So the group total is: 5931 + 30 = 5961
I also didn't go today, but tomorrow I'll be there for sure. I don't think I'm going to make the 1200 minutes that I set for a goal, but I'm going to get as close as I can. See you all tomorrow.

Congrats to everyone working out! I did an hour of the BodyPump class at the YWCA this evening. My goals is to work out for an hour at least 4 days this week.
I think I first have to add 60 mins for fost40, so that puts the total at 6021. Well dont fost40 for taking us over 6000!!
I added a little to each of my workouts today (thanks to having to report in here) and I did even more on the bike (normally try for 30 mins) because it is WAY too hot and I couldn't face the step.
So I did 45 mins on the treadmill in the morning and 45 mins on the bike in the evening.
