I think wyllenn meant to say 6121 Plus my 45 mins=6166 mins!!!! Keep it up!
I am on my way out the door to the pool and had some time while waiting for my drive. Thought I would add the time first ( cause I am going! although I had to have my butt kicked there tonight *L*)
Personal total ~ 245-60 = 185 minutes to go! ( goal 800 minutes for Feb.)
Once again, I am VERY proud of myself. I have been feeling ROTTEN today. Nobody warned me about all of the 'wonderful' things that come with TOM. I don't suppose anyone thought they would need to say anything, but I have never had regular periods and for much of my life didn't even have a period at all because of my weight. So I am really not used to the little things that decide to accompany this event. Today I have had the most awful backache almost all day. Spent most of the time at school with a heat pack against it. Even pain killers didn't really do anything. I didn't connect the pain to my period until a number of people said that they got back pain with their periods. I learn something new every day!
Anyway, even with the pain, I decided I was not going to give up on the exercise. I just worked for longer on the treadmill at a lower speed (around 4.5mph) then this afternoon I worked longer on the bike at a pretty good speed to make up for the bread I have been devouring during the day. I am NOT used to these cravings either. For the past year I have hardly had any cravings at all, so this is quite frustrating.
So... 50 mins on treadmill in morning and 50 mins on bike in evening.
I was also really proud of myself yesterday. I started out by getting back on the ellipitcal for 5 minutes. I think I really need to be keeping at it since I really feel it in the upper thighs, which should help me with my stairs issues (still having knee pains on stairs). I then did 30 mintues + 5 cool down on the treadmill.
The thing was, that after 10 minutes I felt ready to call it a night. I have an agreement with myself that all I need to do is a minumum of 10 minutes and if I want to stop after that I can. However, I decided to keep going, as a Valentine's gift to myself. So not only did I keep going, but at the end I upped the speed to 2.5 (I am currently at about 2.2 keeping my heartrate around 140) for the last 5 minutes and worked extra hard. Now I just need to figure out how to add in some more strength training into my routine. So my personal total is now 485.
I did 5 minutes on the ellipitcal and 35 minutes on the treadmill again today. Today I stepped it up at the end by adding an incline for the last 5 minutes. That brings my total to 525.
I did 60 mins (4 miles walking with DVD workout) and a few odd mins of dumbells but I'm not counting them because I didn't take the time on them. That brings my personal total to 675...I think I'm going to miss my goal...sighs.
