I weighed in yesterday and was down 2 lbs. Woo! 6 more pounds until I can play with my new Kindle, and 11 lbs until I go to stabilization (I've decided to stabilize at 195 instead of 200 to give myself some wiggle room).
I mentioned that I've had issues with bouts of dizziness, nausea, and overall yuckiness, and they told me to record when I feel this way. The consultant said it sounds like a blood sugar issue. She didn't seem to like my suggestion of switching to metabalance, though. She was thinking that we might modify the fruit I eat at lunch, then add the glucose supplement in (supposed to regulate sugars). Then she said she didn't think it was because of my blood pressure being low, because she said it was still in the normal range. Then she took my BP and it was 94/52. Um, I know it's still in "normal," but it's on the really low end of normal, so yeah, I'm pretty sure that's part of it.
I've been really tired all weekend, and had to drag myself to the gym today, and drag myself through my cardio. I just wasn't feeling it, and it was a real struggle to work out at the same level I've been able to do a couple weeks ago. If I don't feel better by the end of next week, I think I might just insist on metabalance.
Anyway, I'm off to do some light cleaning, take a shower, and start dinner! We're trying "broccolette" tonight. I've had it at a restaurant in TX before, but they called it "broccolini." Either way, it was really good. It was described to me as being like a cross between asparagus and broccoli, so we'll see.
I think you should switch to Meta balance. I was working out a lot and the manager is the one that wanted to switch me before I decided and it was due to the issues you mentioned. At first I wasn't liking it because of having to remember a whole new plan and I wasn't losing as fast as I did before. I have had time to think about it and I am glad that I changed because my losses are slower which is way better for my body in the long run. It gives a chance for my mind to catch up with my weight loss. I hope it all works out for you!!!
So I just got done practicing Zumba. I'll say, its nice to be able to lead myself in a great home workout...no video required! :-)
I am practicing because I am teaching my first class Tuesday! To the ladies at my MRC center! haha!
When I got certified, the manager talked to me about doing a miniclass for the counselors. She said they always have people ask about different workout types and they would love to do a Zumba demo so they could describe it to clients. I am excited to pay them back! haha!
I just hope I can deal with this meta-protein fatigue. I'm feeling it today. My body misses its carb energy for sure. But its only for a few more days to a week. I am heading out Thursday afternoon for that wedding and they said Thursday morning we would decide if I can go back to my regular menu (or maybe even meta-quick since I'll be out of town) or if I should stay on meta-protein all weekend for the full 2 weeks. Guess we'll see.
Can you come to my center? That sounds like so much fun.

Yeah, I think you're right. Part of the reason I haven't insisted on switching to MB yet is because I really don't want to slow my loss down any further, since I'm so close to goal. But on the other hand, maybe needing more calories is what has slowed my loss so far.
Could you post or send me a copy of the metabalance menu? I'd like to see how different it is.
Oh I wish I could! Maybe I'll film myself doing a couple songs so you all can try it at home!
I would like that! I was going to buy the Wii Zumba game but wasn't sure if I would like it or not. And Bentonville is so much closer than Florida, maybe you could tour the NWA region. But I would make sure they are paying you with MetaBucks or something.
In the past month, I have been having some leg/feet cramps at night. Anyone else experiencing this while on MRC? I have been on MRC for over five months. I am wondering if I need more potasium. My multi-vitamin has 80 mg of potasium. Those of you on the MRC mult-vitamin, can you tell me how much potasium is in it?
The MRC woman multi-vitamin has 99 mg of potassium (for two tablets) - which you are to take 2 per day. Additionally I take Cal-Mag from the center as well - its a combination of Calcium and Magnesium - I think it was $6 a bottle.

Reason: change in daily intake
Weighed in today and lost 1 lb. I've also acquired my TOM back after 3 years being on an IUD .. sucks!! My doctor seems to think that it's due to the water intake. OH WELL, I'll take it too!
Have had a terrible headache yesterday and today. I think its from the protein overload. I will talk to the center tomorrow. Good thing this meta-protein isn't my permanent plan...I don't like it.

I don't know what I would do if I got my TOM back! I was on Depo-Provera for several years and then 4 years ago switched to Implanon. Implanon lasts for 3 years, then they remove it and put another one in the other arm. But no TOM for over 13 years.. I honestly wouldn't know what to do.

Hi there,
Have you checked the side effects of the new supplement you're taking? I've noticed that you've posted some notes about not feeling yourself since you started taking it. Just concerned it may have side effects that include irregular heartbeat, etc.

I wasn't having irregular heartbeat or anything, but either way I decided to quit taking it since it might be caused by the supplement. It's been about a week since I've taken it last, but I still feel tired and run-down.
I might be battling hayfever, though--I noticed some drainage this morning when I got up, and I started having a cough last night--which usually slows me down quite a bit.
I haven't really had an issue with the nausea since I quit the supplement, but I'm still having dizziness (which happened a lot for me when I was a kid due to my blood pressure).
