Well, only down a .5 pound....but my favorite counselor at the center said she was happy with that. That the meta-protein isn't so much for losing bunches of weight, but kickstarting my fat loss again...and she thinks it will do that.
She also talked to me about the possibility of not hitting my goal. She was saying that not everyone can make it to that low of a BMI....and (like her) I may have to stabilize where my body wants me to...not necessarily where I want to. Like I would like to get to 140...but she was saying 155-160 might be better as it may be where I stop losing at. We will see.
And my Zumba class went well this morning. We had lots of fun.
A loss of 0.5 is still a loss! Hopefully this will jumpstart things for you once again. You seem to be very fit and muscular and 140 might be too light . . . Do you have a size of clothing you wuold like to fit in? I really don't know what my final goal is yet. I've been overweight since junior high. I would rather be a little heavier and have the muscle mass than lighter without the muscle. I think a size 8 would be awesome.
Well - I went to the PiYo class that my center last night. The lady who teaches it is from World's Gym - she does a Spinning class, Yoga, Pilates, the Boot Camp and if you're familiar with World's Gym .. she does the "R.I.P.P.E.D" class! Her husband did the MRC program and lost over 80lbs. and that's how she started teaching there.
This sounds so cool and I'm so glad you went. Our center is very new and has very few classes, but I would love to have some type of exercise class there.
Well, I stayed OP (save eating about 4 crackers on Sunday afternoon) since Saturday, even increased my exercise on Monday evening to add a 20 min walk before yoga, and I gained 1 lb today. I kind of expected it--it's been pretty par for the course lately, losing 3 lbs, then gaining 1.5, losing 2 lbs, then gaining 1, etc. etc.).
I had a different consultant today (I've had the same one for about the last 5 WI), and she was really encouraging. We discussed my exercise, and she suggested the metabalance plan (which I've been asking about for a while with the other consultant). Her only hesitation was that it might take a couple weeks to see a difference with a different plan, then more time to get used to my old plan if the new one didn't seem to work--and time is $$ on this program. We decided that I would try up to 10 days of phentatrim, and if that doesn't increase my losses or make them more consistent, then we would definitely switch me to metabalance.
I've been pretty skeptical of the supplements (partly because of the cost), but I'm so ready to just hurry up and lose these last few pounds and be done, I guess I'm a little more willing to give them a try. I'm really hoping this works, but relieved that my consultant today agreed that metabalance should be the next step if my losses don't increase.
WI tonight.. after only a 1lb. loss last week - I lost 3!! Hoping to sign the 20lb board by next week.
I'm thinking it's the veggie drink vs. eating raw/cooked veggies. Because I really only eat Cucumbers, Celery, Squash and Green Beans. We'll see. The consultant suggested I try to eat regular veggies a few times a week, which I do, so I won't become dependent on the veggie drink.
hey everyone! I have taken the last 3 months to just maintained and take a break from the constant protein drinks and supplements. My husbands job has a very slow time that lasts from Jan-April so I knew I would have to go without the supplements during that time. So I did, I maintained and now things are back to normal as usual and I am ready to tackle my last 30lbs!!!!! Excited to finally meet my goal especial since I know it is possible for me to maintain this time around by just making great healthy choices 95% of the time leaving some room for those special occasions! Look forward to getting to know the new ones and catching back up with those of you that have been around. This is my second time doin MRC so I am a veteran! The first time was about 5 years ago I lost 72lbs exactly in my 24 weeks by following to a T with no deviation and moderate exercise. Had some huge life changing events and fell back into my comfort eating. It took about a year to gain it all back, but I watched every lb come back on the scale. This time I vowed that I will never gain the weight back because it is such a journey to get it off so the 3 months of maintaining is a big thing for me. I am finally leaning others ways to cope with stress (which I have right now, I am in Nursing school with a family and a part time hairstylist). I have watched so many peers in my nursing class pack on the pounds while I have managed to lose about 65 even being a stress eater in my past. So anyway, thats about me!

Teacher lady..
May I ask how they advised you to take Phentatrim?By that I mean, how many times a day, with meals or just when hungry?
Thanks

Great... That is such a good weight loss. Good job.

Welcome Back April,
I'm new here. I'm on the 72lbs in 24weeks program for now.. but I will have to sign up for more weeks to reach my goal. I'm on day 18 of the MetaSlim Plus Level 3 plan. So that's a little about me
Teacher lady..

They told me to do it 3x a day--about 30 mins before each meal. I went ahead and started it this evening, as I had an early dinner (about 4:30pm), so I actually took my first pill at about 4pm.
We'll see how it goes. I talked about it with my sister, and she is thinking along the same lines as me--that it sounds like I might not be getting enough calories. But, we'll see. If it doesn't change anything in the next week or so, I'll definitely switch plans.

Well I don't know what I'd like to be. And the problem is...I don't feel like a size 8 (which I have been buying in pants). I still see myself as the 14/16 I started out as sometimes. And its funny, I know my mother in law is an 8 (granted a bit taller than me) and I think of her as thin...but I dunno.
I think I would like to be a solid 6-8. Like I'm still buying 10-12 dresses and such. I think I for sure want to be in the 150s....which means getting out of the 160s. I might be ok if I settled out in the 150s instead of 140...but we will see.
I do know from my Tanita readings that I have quite a bit more muscle mass than most my size...they told me 10-15 pounds more muscle. Which is why we settled on 140 because "average normal" weight for my height is 125-130..so we thought 140 would be good. But we will see. I won't fight my body.
Thanks for the feedback everybody.

Don't be surprised it it takes you a year or more to 'see' yourself as you really are. Look at yourself in the mirror every morning (naked :-)) and take lots of pictures. Then, MOST important, KEEP doing it. I quit looking
As for sizes, I found out that when I got smaller than my size 4 ladies (around 135 lbs) nothing fit anymore as junior sizes just won't work for a real woman's body shape.
