My second weigh in was yesterday and I'm down 2.5lbs. Wooohoo! They started me on the green menu starting on Monday. Doesn't seem to bad, I just need to learn how to plan it out before I go to the store.
I just got home from WI, I had been bumming all week because my scale hadn't been moving and I had gained a pound last time, I was feeling really discouraged and caved and ate a hot dog Wednesday. It has been a bad week, I had the best counsler today and she gave me some great tips, think I'm going to try the phentraine (sp?) next week when I get paid. Has anyone tried that? Do they suppress appetite? I was feeling better after talking to her and then she weighed me and lo and behold...DOWN 2 POUNDS! I totally did not expect it. I'm one pound away from hitting ten pounds...hoping to hit that monday when I weigh in. Hopefully I can be down 15 pounds total by my brothers wedding thanksgiving weekend!
This is the one I use and I love it. It has hoodia in it and it really keeps me from getting too hungry and it does not make me jittery like the all day and the other one does.
I just got home from a weekend trip to visit my dad in Denton, TX. I managed to stick to my program food. We don't get to visit all that often and he was amazed at how much my appearance has changed in the last two months. I am looking forward to going to WI tomorrow to see if anything has changed in the scale department. I bought some Ketostix last Friday, and this weekend was the first time I've ever had a reading of "trace" in all these months. Perhaps it is because I had been using sticks that were expired - I threw them away - but perhaps not. I just never thought ketosis was that big of a deal, but maybe it is. I am curious about everyone else's experience with this.
So thankful on a chilly night like this that I have creamy hot cocoa for a treat I am a big fan of this HNS...it's worth the money. Weighing in tomorrow...hoping for a positive post weekend (on plan of course) result!
Hi to all the newbies (since I was last here) and to all the oldie but goodies from when I was around before. I lost almost 50 lbs back in 2008 and kept it off for almost 2 years. I have since gained about 25 lbs back in the last year (pretty depressing). I went in to the center yesterday b/c they called to tell me about an Open House they were having. I LOVE the girls there! They are just SO awesome..Anyway, in going over my old chart I saw that I was 128 lbs last year around this time! I'm up to 151 now. Needless to say I was pretty upset. It's not that I didn't KNOW I had gained that weight back, but to see all my charts and Tanita printouts in black and white (from 20+ lbs and 5% BMI ago), well...that was depressing.
Anyway..I've been up and and down and tried a bunch of different diets (one being the drops we can't talk about here)..I just can't stick to anything lately. SO..I'm going to try and stick to MRC again. I KNOW it works and I have all the information as well as a bunch of products still. I'm not sure if I'm going to sign up (they have a $79 special for 10 weeks going right now), or if I'm gonna try it on my own.
I bought some internal cleanser that I had wanted to buy. Does anyone have experience with that?
I wanted to come in and say HI and I'll try to stick around and post more and stay motivated.

Rocki - When you said how great your center was I thought, wow, I wonder if she goes to mine and wow, you do. I live in Brandon, I love these girls, Casey, Stephanie, Cathy and Natasha and Mallory. We have got to meet at the center for a WI if you decide to to back!!!! These girls are the absolute best. Looking forward to meeting you.
Yes, Sherral! I go to the Brandon center! Kasey & Mallory are just the best! I'm not sure if I know Stephanie, Cathy & Natasha b/c it's been a while (I know the Stephanie who was the manager before and she is great too). I *might* call over there today but I'm not sure if I'm going to re-sign. I have all the stuff here and the only thing I need them for is support (which, yes, is HUGE..BUT I can't keep spending my money over there..) I have tons of product and all my herbs and vitamins as well. I really think I'm going to tough it out on my own and post here for accountability! I would love to stay in touch with you though!

Sorry to hog the board, but I'm excited to be back. I WILL stick to it this time! ( I think that's what Debi would say) I have to get that positive self talk going again. That REALLY did help before. I took all my pills this AM and ate my oatmeal and cheese. I'm drinking my grapefruit supplement and my water. I'm @ 151 today. I want to be down to 115 at the end of this journey. That's 36 lbs. From what Kasey @ my center told me, I was losing 2.8-3.3 lbs per week before, so I could actually get to my goal within 12 weeks. That would be awesome, but I know that Thanksgiving and Christmas and New Years (going to NYC for New Years Eve) are around the corner. I want to be positive, but realistic as well. I plan on starting an exercise routine again and am just trying to figure out how to work it all in. I will be working closer to full-time in the next 6 weeks than I have in the last 8 months and I'll be out at restaurants all the time (I'm selling Medicare Advantage plans and we do seminars at restaurants). That's going to be hard, but I plan on taking all my "stuff" with me.
I KNOW this plan works. I looked at tons of pictures of me from my lowest weights and I want to get back there again. I was so thin and toned looking. There's a huge difference between then and now.
Ok, I'll confess, I stayed the same at weigh in on Saturday and threw away my entire weekend. I won't go in to details, but lets just say it was NOT a plan type weekend. But this morning I'm committed. I didn't like the way all of that food made me feel, and I didn't like all of the unnecessary money that I spent. This Tuesday's weigh in will be tough, but I know I have to hold myself accountable for my actions! (slap on the wrist! BAD GIRL!!)
My center is having a class on Tuesday called "Addictions" and I"m definitely going to it

Here's hoping for an awesome week for all of us!
Rocki, you are gonna do so well -- I know it. Wishing you much SUCCESS so that you see your goal as fast as possible.

You're not hogging the board, we're glad you're posting! And if you're talking about me, Debi, you're right - that's EXACTLY what I would say! Yay you!

Stephanie is their new District Mgr, she runs all of the centers in this area and she is so nice, very dedicated to everyone and truly cares about us, not just the sale!
I talked with Kasey a few minutes ago and they are still offering the 17 weeks for $79. just for today. So since you already have all the stuff you need that would not be too bad to re-join. Either way, you have all of us here!
I think the $79 is for 10 weeks though. The 17 weeks is more, but I'm not sure how much.
Debi..YES..talking about you! I've been reading your posts and you're so positive..trying to be more that way!
