WI tomorrow morning...should be down about 2 according to my scale at home - was up .5 Tuesday. I've been enjoying the hot cocoa hns at night now that it's chilly - it's like heaven!! I am so thankful for it! I'm wearing a pair of jeans today that I couldn't fit into in October and they are a little baggy...love the reminder that just a month ago I was a different person really! My mini goal is to hit 140 (at 152 now) by Thanksgiving...we'll see! Have a great weekend everyone!

TMI maybe but...

Since being on this diet, I have had THE WORST period symptoms. I usually have mild if no symptoms...and for the past couple of months, when the period comes, so does AWFUL cramps, pains, and aches.

Nothing else has changed besides my diet. I am on BC (Nuvaring) but I've been on that for a year now...

Anyone else having horrible periods OP?

I just got home from WI, I had been bumming all week because my scale hadn't been moving and I had gained a pound last time, I was feeling really discouraged and caved and ate a hot dog Wednesday. It has been a bad week, I had the best counsler today and she gave me some great tips, think I'm going to try the phentraine (sp?) next week when I get paid. Has anyone tried that? Do they suppress appetite? I was feeling better after talking to her and then she weighed me and lo and behold...DOWN 2 POUNDS! I totally did not expect it. I'm one pound away from hitting ten pounds...hoping to hit that monday when I weigh in. Hopefully I can be down 15 pounds total by my brothers wedding thanksgiving weekend!

Me too! I've been on Tri-Nessa (Orthotricyclene) for over 10 years now, and I usually never had cramping, bloating, etc. I used to alternate heavy one month, light the next, but now it's always heavy, crampy, and I'm extra tired and irritable.

I also have started having my period start on Wednesdays again. Back when I first started the pill (when I weighed about 178), that's the day of the week my period would start. It slowly got later and later in the week over the years (and pounds), until this year I started getting it on Friday afternoons. But since I started MRC, it's been on Wednesdays.

Weird.

Default Phentratrim Plus

I did take that and it does curb cravings , but I had to stop as the headache I received from it was horrible. I could not work with that type of headache,
but no cravings.

Default Weigh In and Meta Balance Diet

I weighed in and was discouraged. I lost .2.They told me I should have lost 2 pounds being on the Meta Quick for two days and I did not. I was told I was definately in a stall, and they wanted me to go to the blue menu again, and I told them I wanted to try the Meta Balance, as I have been on the blue menu 4 different times and it is not working on the stall. They did give me the Meta Balance
Diet, level 1, and was told they believe I will gain weight on it, as it is more calories, but I told them I wanted to try it until Tuesday, next weigh in and see what happens.

I will report at that time. Congrats to all that lost this week.

Yay for standing up for yourself, Patzi! I hope the Metabalance is exactly what you needed--but even if it isn't, at least you won't have to keep wondering.

Good luck!

Default Question on Metabalance

Thank you Teacherlady.

I can't recall who went on Metabalance, but I have one question.

I do not have any Nutra bars left. I only have the regular bars. Is there that much a difference between the two, as Level 1 calls for Nutra Bars as an option. I believe Cinnamon Raison is a Nutra Bar, but not sure. They are not needed, but they are an option vs. the HNS.

Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend.

I took the metabolic enhancer instead of the phentatrim (sp?). It worked great - no bad side effects. They also told me it was stronger than the all day weight loss. who knows?
I'm glad to hear about you good experience - it's always 2 steps forward, 1 back, isn't it?

My second weigh in was yesterday and I'm down 2.5lbs. Wooohoo! They started me on the green menu starting on Monday. Doesn't seem to bad, I just need to learn how to plan it out before I go to the store.

YES - I was just looking up reasons for it, lol. I am having "PMS" for the first time in years and years. There are some funky things going on in that department...glad it's not just me though I hope we get relief!
