That is awesome! I am so happy for you. Isn't is amazing how much those things can make you feel better and help you to overcome a slump? I was feeling very negative last week and even had a little temper tantrum at the center but when I wieghed myself the next day I had dropped 2 or 3 on my scale and it made all the difference in my attitude.

Good morning all!!!

Sherral- I am so glad you enjoy my posts! I know I sure LOVE this thread. I get a ton of encouragement from you all too. It's a win win for me I've never heard of those workout flip flops but I would LOVE some! I hate finding socks and my tennis shoes everytime I want to hop on my treadmill, something to slip on and get going would be so much better!! How much do they normally run cost wise?

teacherlady- congrats on the two sizes DOWN!!! that is amazing!! I can't wait to go down a size! My jeans though are just now starting to get loose. So maybe in a month or less I can go jeans shopping too!

ladystarrider - you did such an amazing job staying op while gone!! That is so motivating! You made what they had available work and I bet you'll see a loss this week for all your hard work!

razorbackbritt- You could definitely still see a loss this week. Just get that water in, maybe get a little exercise in and that water retention you might have gained from that one meal will be gone in no time today is a brand new day!

machaela- I had a taco salad for dinner last night too! it was really good I have apple cider vinegar capsules but I haven't used them. Wasn't sure if they would help or not. I weigh in tomorrow as well, I wonder how many tuesday weighers we have on here, sounds like a few though

Well my week this week is gonna be pretty busy.. we have overtime finally again and I sure need it with the holiday's coming up. Two of my kids have bdays in december so between that and xmas it's tough! so even though the long hours wear me out I plan on getting it in along with a daily workout, just walking on my treadmill for 20 min a day this week on my lunch break. Anything to help this weightloss speed up. I was thinking before I went to bed last night that if it doesn't pick up I'm so afraid I won't be at goal by my 17 weeks and I absolutely don't want to re-up my contract or start stabilization at a higher weight or something so I need to start thinking long term to hit my goal by feb 14th.. so exercise is plan #1 for right now.. and we'll see how that helps. I just pray it doesn't stall me, but like my counselor said, I won't know until I try, so try I will

Well everyone, it's a brand new week, let's give it our all and have some great wi's this week!!!!

I ordered some things last week, but have no idea when to expect it. I'm hoping I get it before I leave for Orlando on Thursday...

Also, anyone know about how much the carb/fat blocker costs?

yes, I have only ordered a couple of times from there, but my orders came next day, if I recall right. I know they came way faster than I expected them to!

Couldn't wait to get them home, and try them, guess what, they all suck, they really don't even taste like food, funny texture, funny aftertaste. has anyone found something from Waldens that they like?

I finally found these and tried the creamy bacon salad dressing and thought it was wonderful! I really didn't even notice a difference between it and regular dressings.
Woops Sunshine. Yes, I agree that the creamy bacon dressing is very good, but as for many of the Walden Farm products, I don't think that ALL of them would be considered ON PLAN anyway, so just maybe the fact that they sucked is a good thing. So there's a good side to everything!

Has anyone used cider vinegar tablets in place of the mrc6? Thinking about adding that in...cant hurt!

machaela, I was on the beige menu at the beginning and in order to max on hns, I consumed 5 daily. Did the center tell you only 3 per day? Since I believe maxing on hns accelerates your loss, I just wanted to raise the question. All the best!

well, I think clothes have been my motivator. I love cute clothes and I realized I just still adore going clothes shopping. It is one indicator that truly shows us we are making progress. Remember that after you lose even more, that AFTER Christmas you can get all kinds of cute stuff much cheaper. Last year, after Christmas I had soooooooooooo much fun! At that point, I was no longer looking at 3X and size 24s, but was trying on 14s and 12s. and that happened in just 4 months! so much funnnnnnnnnnnnn! I know, it sounds kind of shallow, but what can I say!

That is such a great accomplishment.

And my favorite is the raiding the closet. I have been doing that from the beginning and it's so fun. I have on a "new" top today!

Joy2MeNu: They indicated 3-5 would be my daily allowance, should I max out?? I'm worried about my budget right now with needing to "drink" 5 supplements a day...But, if it accelerates my weight loss, then OKIE DOKIE! I will get 2 more in a day!I think I'm going to place a diet direct order so that I can save a little money, which should help ease my fears about that.

So, those who have done the beige menu, I just got home from lunch, and WHEW, SO MUCH FOOD. I seriously couldn't eat it all. 8 oz of raw veggies (salad and broccoli) 1 cup of watermelon and 6 oz of turkey. It looked like an entire buffet of food on several plates. Is it necessary to eat it all? Any suggestions for that? Please don't tell me I'm doing something wrong!! LOL.

Yes, it is a lot of food--and yes, you are doing it right!

I have trouble eating it all, sometimes. I have found it to be easier to eat 4 oz of cooked veggies (or a really heavy, dense raw veggie) rather than 8oz of salad. The bulk is a lot smaller, more manageable then.

When I do have salad, I can honestly say there has not been a single time I was able to finish my full 8oz.

When I rethought my lunch, I thought it would have been better to eat some cooked veggies, but I was working with a quick turn around for lunch and just didn't think. I'll do better next time. I also ran out of baked chicken (i usually bake up a weeks worth and then just reheat it for lunch) so the turkey was a whole lot more than I'm used to.

Thanks for the info teacherlady79

So machaela, I just say max hns if you possibly can. Do one right before you go to bed to keep your metabolism in high gear throughout the night. I believe after day 5, you can have 1 creamy per day (but not on days where you are doing shakes or bars). Yes, I believe your weight loss will go faster if you have everything you have coming to you, but I know it gets to be a little pricey sometimes.
