I know! I'm so proud of both of us! Look at you....12.5 inches GONE! So great!

Btw, what kind of exercise are you doing?? It's my TOM, so I've been wiped out and have slept most of the week-end. I get sooo exhausted! Anyhow, I was thinking about going to my gym and walking. I want to start doing some weights so my skin stays tight, etc. Any thoughts?

So glad you loved it! I got the idea from a commercial on Food network that used bread crumbs in the recipe with whole chicken brsts... I figured melba toast would work fine, the garlic ones were in the cupboard so those became it and the larger crumbles were an accident/I was in a hurry and didnt feel like pulsing that processor anymore, LOL!! If I come up with anything else I think is good I promise to not hold out on anyone :0)

Loving all the chat tonight ladies... alot of food for thought... for some reason I have really been struggling with hunger and despite being 100% OP this past week I didn't lose anything, I recently upped my running time previously at 2 miles now up to 3 miles, 3 x a week as well so I'm guessing this might be why I didn't lose this week, I am starting to think another plan might work for me as well.... I noticed I began to struggle when I went from the beige menu to the green menu... there's something about that extra amt of protein I no longer get that leaves me hungry at the end of my meals. I did stop the enhancer as it was causing alot of heart palpitations pretty much all day long so that had to go but this was 1 1/2 mo. ago ... I was already stuggling with the above when I stopped the Cortitrim as well - mostly b/c I was tired of taking all the pills and needed a break. I am going to aim for 1-2 weeks of 100% OP, track everything I eat/drink and do in my journal and if I don't see a good drop, I am going to talk to the counselor about changing my plan... I am getting frustrated struggling along like this recently and am just unsure what's changed other than my gradually increasing running/exercise schedule. Have a great week everyone!

yeah id suggest waiting until ur done n then start slowly. me - right now I'm doing three days a week .. planning 2 increase up to 5 days {highly optimistic!} i do 5 min stretching/warm up/ ,45 min cardio and 10 min abs. According my center the hips/waist/abs are usually the slowest at inch loss so the ab workout will help with toning. I do situps , 2 sets of crunches (20 reps each) and also seated side twists (pretty effective). Have u tried aqua aerobics?? its fun plus no aches when ur actually working out. i used 2 do it before and its very good 4 toning the arms. the timings are inconvenient 4 me but im hoping 2 do them on weekends. leme knw wat ur doing.. were so gonna this fat !

Sorry all I keep misquoting myself...what I meant to say is that I switched from the Meta Slim not Meta Quick to the Meta Balance. I truly believe my mind is losing it!

Well everyone, I was super busy last night, cooking up a mad storm, we have all these apples and my husband wanted fried apple pies... Oh Lord... why??? I have got to come up with a plan friendly version of this. Apparently I was wrong, I'm not sure I can do all my holiday baking and stay OP... Plus, my daughter has entered a cake walk at school for their Fall Festival and is very inspired by Ace of cakes and Buddy from Cake Boss. She made a huge cake last year and won the cake walk and wants to keep her title this year... "I set the bar last year and now I have to try to do it again!!" - Direct quote from her Thank You very much. Whew... Do you know what this 12 yo wants to bake??? Mount Kilimanjaro (sp?) with an African Sahara scene in front of it.. holy cow!!! She is doing it on her own but I am helping her orchestrate the baking .... We're talking 9, 12 x 16 cakes that have to be baked in the next few days so they can be frozen and ready to carve by Friday and then she is making all her animal figures etc. out of fondant... I might have to tape my mouth shut with Duct tape to avoid those BLT's again... Pray for me :0)

OK, it's a new week, a new day and I can do this, 100% OP, I CAN DO THIS, I CAN DO THIS, I CAN DO THIS!!!

You can find the apple cider vinegar pills at the Atkins store over in Meridian Park. The store is behind Grisantis. I've been taking them for a few weeks, but haven't noticed any significant changes to speak of. Hope this helps.

Karen, you can do it!!! I know this is going to be a very trying time for us all with Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and News Years all bunched together!

I have already starting baking a bundt cake I do every year and give out, pumpkin-pecan-chocolate chips, yummy! I have been baking this cake for 14 years and everyone expects me to deliver! I always bake the first one for the kids in September and did this last week...it is still in the fridge and I try with all my might to avoid it...however, I slice two small pieces everyday last week for the kids lunches! I just wanted to lick the knife! But haven't thus far. I have decided that when I get to 170, another 10 pounds, I will have one slice of this cake and have told my whole family so they won't get on my case. My kids are my plan "police". I did make your chicken strips yesterday and they were very good, I used the Sea Salt Melba Toast because that was all I had in the house. I only managed to put aside 3 servings to freeze for myself because my kids ate the rest...they keep saying it smells so good, etc...so I gave the rest to them. I normally cook on Sunday for my dinners and lunch then freeze the servings so I am not cooking two meals a night, I cook for the family and reheat mine...this has worked out great! I normally eat fish almost all week and have the best weight loss with fish. I also made the turkey sauage that Noah's Mama gave and it turned out wonderful...I had this for breakfast today, with a drop of sugar free syrup on it very filling!

Boy does that sound good - I love pumpkin, pecan and chocolate but have never tried it together- good thing you're not my neighbor!! I think a planned treat time is a good idea - I plan to treat myself to a fried apple pie in October after my 5k I just have to keep up the willpower to make it to Oct. I've got it today though, I'm on top of now! As for my baking, I make banana brd, pumpkin brd, a few cakes and pies and an assortment of cookies and if I have time candies but it's been several years since I've been able to do all this. As for my food plan, I pretty much stick with chicken 5/7 days, buffalo burger 1-2 times a week, beef about once a week. The truth is, I just love chicken. No one else in the family likes the fish, I love it but prefer to keep to making 1 meal for our dinner rather than a seperate one for me so I do not often make fish. When we dine out, I always get the blackened tilapia, I love it fresh and spicy!! Yumm...

i love your reward meals, hehe... i have a trip to mexico coming up mid-October and i'm going to try my absolute hardest to be at 175 (halfway point!!) by then, so maybe the trip will count as my reward? although i'm sure there will be a couple of naughty indulgences down there. lucky for me, i'm not a fan of margaritas. but ohhhh man, real mexican food? i'm gonna be in trouble. fajitas will be my saving grace, i wager.

i told my boyfriend already that when i reach my halfway point we will be going to the Oven (local indian restaurant) and i will be indulging in some rice with my chicken. mmmmmm. something to look forward to, anyway.

At WI on Friday I was back down to my pre-Australia weight (only took 1 week to loose it)!!! YAY!!

Unfortunately, I went to my grandmothers for the weekend to celebrate grandparents day and ate out at Jonny Carino's. I did pretty good with dinner but desert was an apple pie thing with ice cream. Loved it and jumped on the scale last night and it was back up. UGH! I should expect it but its still frusterating.

So, back OP and WI today, we'll see how I do. I am also striving to get back in the gym for good this week. I did the CP5K last year and got up to 2.5 miles then my knee started bugging me. I have the knee under control and 15 lbs lower has to make a difference. I am also going to get into yoga. The gym I go to has 4 classes a week that I can make then a combo Yoga, pilates class once a week... will power to me!!!

Wow, your daughter is ambitious to say the least. As a fellow cake decorator, I know what you will be going through. Hang in there and keep your focus and you will make it through. If you have the urge, brush your teeth, chew a piece of strong minty gum, sugar free of course. Nothing will taste good after that. You will have to post some pictures of her accomplishment.

I did indulge after my 5k in July. I had a small ice cream blizzard. Totally worth every last bite. I drank a lot of water to counter the problem and quite honestly, there was no problem on the scale. Right now my main craving is beer. Gosh, with football season in full swing, how do I not have a beer? LOL. I'm headed to Vegas in a couple of months and want to have my 'rockin' body by then, so that's what's keeping me on program! : )
