I just got back from my second weigh in. I started pre-conditioning 8 days ago, and today ended my days 1-4 and I have lost 5 pounds total so far. I am thrilled to have lost 5, but also a *little* bummed that I didn't get a huge number. It seems like a lot of people lose double digits the first week. But still, I feel like I'm off to a good start. It's nice to have one or two more options for food, and I'm totally looking forward to getting a creamy once a day. I only have cappacino and hot chocolate, so I think I might swing by tomorrow and pick up a box of choc pudding. I'm supposed to do 4 oz of white meat for lunch the next 7 days, but does anyone think it would be the end of the world if I still did cottage cheese instead since I just bought a huge thing of it?

Last week I moved them to the trunk of my car, and I've asked one of my friends to go with me for moral support so that I can unload them. There's some good stuff in there--nothing great--but I think I feel wasteful for not using them up, if that makes sense. And, if I were being really honest with myself, I probably am worried on a subconscious level that I'll need them again. It's ridiculous, though. I wasn't happy when I wore those clothes, and I definitely don't have room for them.

I know what you mean - I got rid of clothes with the tags still on them - seasonal things I'd picked up on sale but ended up going right through the size before I ever got to wear them. The new wardrobe is part of my accountability now, though - since I refuse to get another new (bigger) wardrobe!

I'm in the boxing up stage. Some of my stuff is seriously out of style that I still can't wear. I am thinking all of that should go, too, because I will want to buy new clothes at a smaller size.

I should set a goal of getting my stuff to Goodwill before the end of the year for tax purposes. Maybe that way I will be able to let go.

I've been holding on to my 12's--almost like a security blanket. They are packed up and ready to go but I am finding it difficult to get rid of them. But I need to! My MRC may be having a clothing exchange in January and I'm going to wait to see if they do because I will take some over there.

Hey everyone. Thanks for all the welcomes and congrats on all the awesome successes I've missed in the last month.

I weighed in yesterday after just 2 days of pre-conditioning and was down 3 lbs already! WOOHOO! I'm very psyched to be back on plan again. Today I started the yellow menu (I think it's yellow) and it's just an orange, bread & 2 oz cheese for breakfast, 2 oz chees or 4oz cottage cheese and salad for lunch and then 4 oz white meat, salad, veggies and bread for dinner for 4 days! I really don't remember this from the beginning. I started my HNSs again today also. They said I'd need them so I didn't chew my arm off from starving on this 4 day diet! UGH! YAY YAY YAY!!

I wish it were not the weekend b/c that's going to be harder. It's difficult giving up my Starbuck's addiction again. I never fully gave up coffee to begin with but got into SB again. The vanilla skinny latte is no fat and only 90 calories, so even though it's totally not on plan I know it's not the worst thing if I splurge..I'll just have to wait a couple of months! Probably won't happen, but I'll try.

You're doing great. I gained 3 lbs during pre-conditioning, but I went cold turkey on caffeine, so it all worked out in my mind.

That is amazing!! Did you get a sheet from MRC about plateau's? Don't want to create a self-fulfilling prophecy, just plant a seed so if it happens, you'll be prepared. You usually hit your first plateau around the 7 - 10 day mark of being OP. Completely stay on plan and don't give in, IT WILL PASS and you'll start losing again pretty fast. That's the norm. Some people never plateau and just lose steadily. Most of our charts will look like a rollercoast even being 100% OP. The trick is to stay with it no matter what!! Great job again. You're only 89 lbs away from your 100 lb mark!! Off to an amazing start. :broc::broc:

I hit ONEderland today!! I'm so happy.

I just want to thank everyone on here. I feel that half my success is this wonderful community!

I wanted to let everyone know that King Soopers/City Market has their extracts all 40% off. I just bought banana, rum, orange, lemon, pepermint, and coconut extract for $1.31 each! So if any of you have a King Soopers/City Market or Kroger you can stock up! :)

Are you coming to Texas for the holidays? If so, maybe you could hold my hand so I actually go to Goodwill? I'm so ready to not have all this extra baggage...and yet, I still have it.

Great job Tina! You are iron strong!!

I went in for my maintenance apt today and just couldn't do it! I haven't been able to get the 10lb gain from vacation under control and my heart just wasn't in it. After a great heart to heart with one of the counselors who has lost a lot of weight and kept it off, we both decided that I need to go back OP and shave off 16 lbs. All the traveling during stabilization really messed me up. So, my sister in law is getting married next week in Vegas and that's my last trip for a while. I'm officially pre-conditioning now and will start back OP on the 26th of December.

What you say on the board really sticks - you never know who just may need to hear it. Thank you Finz! It was several months ago that you said the plan was easier for you the 2nd time around because you didn't fight it. You were just did what you were suppose to do. That's my attitude going back for the short last trip. I'm sure the 16 lbs will be gone well before my new contract is up on the 8th of March.

Great job!!!

We had ours on Friday (at lunch) and went to The Cheesecake Factory... I had Grilled Chicken on Spinach, with Tomato on the side and I got my husband a piece of cheesecake (he REALLY enjoyed that surprise). Everyone else had their cheesecake, and I didn't feel bad at all. We had a wonderful time (it's nice to just spend time together) and after one of my friends took me aside and just said how proud she was of me. It was lovely.

Congratulations to you! You should be proud of you!!!!
