So far so good, I've only done BL1 two times and BL3 one time. I still go to Contours 4 nights a week but I'm trying to do BL in the mornings on those days and on 2 of the 3 days I don't go to Contours I think I'm gonna do BL1 & 3!! I am one of those people who really enjoys exercise :strong: but I get lazy and slack off then I start eating like I'm still working out. This is the first time I've done a weight loss program and exercised. The other time I lost a lot of weight I just exercised my booty off and kept my diet the same (fast food etc...).

Julia- That is great! I wish I could make myself get on the glider in the afternoons for a while as well as my BL mornings. I need to work on that. |

BL #3 tonight. Dont know if I wasnt working as hard or if it was the extremely fast fan I was under but I didnt sweat much. Hopefully the scale shows a loss tomorrow!! Tomorrow isnt as long of a day so I am hoping to do BL boot camp and run at least 45 minutes.

I have a question to anyone that can answer. I've been doing Turbo Jam for over a month now. I love it! In the last couple days my right knee has been hurting me. TJ is high impact cardio. I did it yesterday, but opted for the low impact options to get through it. My knee is still bothering me today. My question is, should I just take a break from working out (which I don't want to do) or should I just find something low impact as an alternative until it stops hurting me? I don't want to make it worse and I'm afraid if I do keep it up, I'll have to stop working out all together because I'll really injure it. Half way into the workout yesterday it was feeling pretty good cuz it got warmed up, but then it got really stiff again and started hurting about an hour after I was done.
I have the BL dvd now. I haven't used it yet. Is this a good alternative? Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks, Diane |
I sometimes have a knee problem when I workout and my doctor told me to wear a knee brace...that helps immensely. You can pick up one of those neoprene knee braces that has the knee cut out at Walmart or almost anywhere.
The BL is wonderful, though! Maybe you can alternate the two. |
Thanks Tina! I was wondering about a knee brace too. I will definitely go out and get one of those. The last thing I want to do it to stop exercising! I'll be doing the BL workout for the first time today.
