Hey all! I am 3 weeks OP and down 18 pounds yay! I don't like how so many IP products contain soy and looking at alternatives. Can anyone tell me more about quest products? Also how are dehydrated potatoes OP? Its in the ingredients on Quest chips.

The13 If you read back through the alternative threads you will see a lot of information about the alternatives- especially Quest- those are a favorite of most. Do not have the answer about the dehydrated potatoes-sorry-I was 100% IP until about October, then I started "dabbling" Love the Quest powders

I would highly recommend reading through this thread and the "Part 6" thread as there is a ton of information on Quest. I personally use the Quest products and I love them.

I bought it. Jury is still out. I typically mix my shakes with spinach in the AM and the batch I have right now has a dirt taste to it. I find it's overpowering the cookies and cream flavor. I plan on trying it w/o spinach to get the full affect.

My favorite is still Salted Caramel blended with cold brewed coffee and spinach. That's my morning go-to.

I haven't found it yet. Stopped in a GNC and my local health food store, and they both had all the other flavors but not this one.

As long as a product fits protocol numerically (has the right number of carbs, protein, fat, calories), you don't have to worry about the ingredients.

Quest shakes & chips are unrestricted items. The bars, with the exception of the lemon flavor, no longer fit protocol (too high in fat). I believe the pastas are okay, although I haven't looked at the label on every package.

My No-Cow protein bars arrived today!.. I was so excited to finally get to try them... as I mentioned in a previous post, I ordered the Mint Cocao Chip & the Blueberry Cobbler... both are waaaaaaaayyyyyy yummy!!!.. I was a little hesitant to spend that much on them, but they're a good size & worth that little over $2 each, I think... I'd pay as much at the health food store for something neither quite as tasty nor nearly as on-protocol... thanks, jennydoodle, for suggesting them...

Thank you for the tips! Glad to hear they are Unrestricted. I just ordered 3 boxes of Quest chips to try out and then I'll start exploring the shakes/bars. My main goal is to stay OP, but avoid all the soy in the IP products.

I am so glad you like them! I thought they tasted fab too. I went to the Vitamin Shoppe today and they had individual bars for sale, so I bought the Mint Chip and the Raspberry Truffle to try. If I like them, I will order a box.

I bit the bullet and bought the Quest cookies and cream, it should be here on Mon (I LOVE Amazon prime!). I went shopping around today to see if I could buy an individual packet somewhere and no dice. So I just figured I would suck it up and buy it. I'll post some feedback after I try it.

Quest chips are the bomb-diggity. I eat one for a snack every day.

Thank you for the feedback. I was debating and trying to decipher if people use the quest chips early in their protocol or the last 10%
