Update...well my chocolate cakes with the Weight Loss Systems pudding was a fail. They are nothing like the ones I make with the IP chocolate drink mix. I am debating whether I finish the other 6 and pitch them and go get IP's. We get so few calories that they really should be maximized but at the same time, it kills me to have ordered them, baked them and just throw them out. Decisions...decisions...
The blueberry muffins with the Healthsmart pancake mix came out drier than I was expecting. There were 7 packets so it made 7 but by muffin pan only holds 6 so I made the 7th in my mini loaf pan. I'm not sure if that potentially dried it out more (it didn't with the Quest Peanut Butter powder). I will have a muffin tomorrow and then I"ll know. But, the net result is disappointing. I think the moral of the story is to stick to what works well.
I have the Weight Loss systems dark cocoa cream, and I am tempted to just pitch it after the dark chocolate pudding experience. Once again, the reviews on the Nashua site do not match my own experience. I can't believe the pudding would have been any better as a pudding vs cake - it is tasteless.
I happen to have some Ghirardelli Unsweetened Coacoa - one Tblsp has 20 calories, 1.5g Fat, 3g carbs, 2g fiber - and it has a great flavor. I bet one T added to your Weight Loss pudding would make a notable difference, and the effects look like they would be minor....
I got my tub of Quest Peanut Butter Powder in yesterday. I'm having trouble finding recipes for it. I checked out the Quest Cheat Clean cookbook, but it looks like most of those recipes would not fit IP protocol.
What recipe ideas have you come up with? Are they posted somewhere?

You can substitute the scoop or scoop and a half of Quest Protein powder for most any of the IP packets in the recipes -- make muffins, cookies, pancakes, bread like items -- go to the thread Fun with IP Packets, and the IP Recipes threads that are in the sticky posts at the top of the Ideal Protein subforum page. You can really use most any of those where a packet is called for.
The All Purpose Mix in Quest protein powder gives you the most variety of possiblitlities as you can flavor it with something sweet or something savory in the form of spices and flavorings, but vanilla is highly versatile too.

I make Quest PB into cookies, waffles or pancakes. All pretty much the same recipe (water & 1/2 t. baking powder). I love it that way.
Speaking of Quest, did you guys see that they came out with a new flavor - Cinnamon Cereal Crunch (or something like that)? I bought a few packets to try. It is similar to the cookies & cream in that it has the little crunchies in it. The only thing that annoys me is that again (like C&C), they are adding Erythritol to it. Not as much as C&C, but still 2g. Why? Their classic flavors (chocolate, vanilla, PB) have none.

Hey Jenny! I just tried the Cinnamon Cereal Crunch and made it into a cake in my mini loaf pan. It was very tasty. The Cinnamon flavor really comes through. Enjoy!
Nashua has free shipping for orders over $49 today- TODAY49 at checkout
Of course, I just got my order.
Thanks for sharing the Nashua deal on shipping -- and they run sales and shipping deals pretty regularly - you will get to take advantage another time! And you should be so glad you did not wait for a deal before getting your journey started - you are well on your way to completing week 1 -- some keto adaptation side effects, but usually a nice drop on the scale numbers -- had you waited for the sale, you would not be starting for a few more days.
For those hwo have tried it. Do you like the health smart proticcino or cappicino better from Nashua?
I don't think I have had the proticcino but I think I did have the cappuccino and liked it fine. The IP Cappuccino is a real fave of mine - I use it in my coffee as a 'lightener' as often as I use the vanilla drink mix.
i still love the quest chips!! they have made a new improved flavor, and even thought i loved them before, i have to say, they did improve and they are just so good and every time i eat a bag, i still have to turn it around and see those carb amounts because its so hard to believe a whole bag of chips for 4 carbs!!

I am a salty/chip person so I can eat all of them. If I had to rate them in order it would be sea salt, sour cream and onion, BBQ, cheddar and then salt and vinegar. I have used the sour cream and onion to make zucchini fritters. You crush up the chips and mix with grated/strained zucchini, add egg white and some seasonings and they are really good.
sea salt are my favorites. and i would order them exactly as jellie did below!!

i would order them exactly as you did!! but sea salt are my favorites. if you tried them before and didn't really care much for them, try the new improved ones, make sure your bag is marked NEW IMPROVED....as they are still making that transition. they are so crispy and salty and delicious.
