Zepher, I see that you and I are similar in weight and goal …. I too just went bra shopping :)
What an ordeal …it's been a long time since i've done that but I finally felt like I wanted the 'girls' to be supported properly and to look cute under my t-shirts:o

It's fun to be a big LOOSER!:carrot:

I'm actually excited about going lingerie shopping for fun again. ;) I think I'll be "allowed" back into VS by Christmas!

The scale moved a pound yesterday finally. I am keeping my fingers crossed for a 2lbs loss this week. To make up for the +.8 and then not loosing anything for another week. When am I going to see the swoosh happen?

Perhaps we can have coffee sometime - I love that area!

Definitely. It would be awesome to meet for coffee.

WI last night was great. Down 3.4. I have had an awesome week and went into the appt just feeling on top of the world and I left looking forward to a repeat this coming week.

I am into my second week of stall. The only thing I am loosing is my hair and my mind. I decided to go workout today so hope that will help perhaps. I also have switched my dinner with my lunch to see if that helps.

Week three weigh in - down another 2.5 for a total of 9.8. Wanted to hit 10 pounds but I'm almost there.

Week 4 down 2.6!

In 4 weeks my total weight loss is just about 14 pounds!! Now that I've learned and gotten more comfortable with this program I feel really strong and good about the upcoming month! I am targeting the holidays for a significant loss and just maybe a new wardrobe....Merry Christmas to me. :D. People have warned me of the plateau though....i am bracing myself!

I hope it helps too! I just asked my counselor how to handle a plateau....she said it's normal and on this program there isn't much you can do except wait it out....i would still try something, though, like you are...dinner for breakfast/breakfast for dinner, change up or add to exercise....would love to hear your results...don't give up!!!!

I love coming to this site to read the various boards for inspiration … sometimes it feels to me like i'm alone on this journey … choosing the 'legal' foods to eat. Folks have started to notice my weight loss and want to know what i'm doing … and then others want to know if I can eat this or that … Food Pushers :(

I had a little 'cheat' yesterday and in the end was SO disappointed with myself because now i have to get back in Ketosis …. and it was all for nothing, just feeding an emotion, which didn't need food as much as it could have used a walk outside or a good book or even some retail therapy!
I'm trying to not be too hard on myself and at the same time, keeping in my mind how it feels so that the next time I go to that place in my head .. I stop before I pick up poison!

I really love this program, we are all getting ready for a trip to Hawaii (which we make every year) and the whole family is going for the first 10 days-2 weeks then just my husband and I. I am planning to stay on program as if I was at home here.
We are in a condo so i've got all the kitchen amenities as I do here … no reason to change things and I'm keeping in mind that I really want this as a lifestyle …
PLUS I want to be the BIGGEST LOOSER this year :)

Happy Thanksgiving to fellow Canadians … xoxo

If I were you I would start with forgiving myself for the cheat. You can't change the past, but you can affect the future. A week and a half ago I had some emotional stress and did a few days of cheats. I tried to channel my frustration with myself into preparing really well for the next week and it worked. Things really stunk for a few days until I got back into ketosis, but I am back on track and humming along. Maybe you can channel your frustration into preparing for staying on plan in Hawaii? By the way, I am totally jealous. I think that I should suggest a yearly trip to Hawaii to my husband.

Have a wonderful time :)

Go to the weekend chat thread.
The directions are in the first post (along with LOTS of other info)

wantanewme 10-13-2013 09:20 PM

Thank you! I guess I better post some more so I can get my ticker!

Ticker

I think I have mine:)

I tried a detour bar today - it was yummy but had 17g carbs which seem's to high? I also tried pure protein bar - yuk it was inedible. Has anyone tried a quest bar yet?
