Skeeterrab: I find if I use about 1/2 to 1 oz more water and squeeze some lemon juice into the water before shaking and then set the pudding in the fridge for awhile so it gets really cold the lemon pudding is much tastier.

Thank you! I will try that as I think that I have another lemon pudding left.

I got my first "hey, have you lost weight? Because you look great!" comment today. I'm down around 12 pounds in just over 2 weeks. Feeling pretty good...

Hi all.

So this is officially my fourth day completely on plan. I love what the scale is saying so far...lolol. I just have a couple questions for some of you more experienced IP dieters.

I feel like I've lost my appetite. I'll eat because it's time but I don't feel hungry at all most of the time. Did anyone experience this as well? Which I guess is good because normally I'm ravenous always.

Also, my stomach hurts like it is hungry but I'm not. I haven't read anywhere that this was a side effect so I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with this as well.

I am starting tomorrow. I am doing it on my own based on my friend who did the diet at her doctors and food that I am purchasing online. I am a little concerned about being hungry. Any suggestions? Are you allowed to snack other than the snack after dinner? I figured it can't be terrible if I snack on some veggies that are on the list. I would like to lose 20 pounds. I also got the vitamins that she took. Calcium, potassium and a multi. Does that sound about right? Thanks!! And good luck to everyone!!

You can thank ketosis for the lack of hunger. Your hunger pains may just be your stomach getting used to going without food (we really do overfeed ourselves, don't we?)
But keep track of the pain. If it persists, I'd check with my doctor.

Hello:wave:
I found out about IP while working with a client if mine in Alaska that is a medical group. As soon as I returned home I found a Chiropractic office that offers IP. Love my coach and am starting on Saturday. I have 44 pounds to lose to get me to goal. One of my biggest challenges will be my travel schedule. My coach has promised to work with me and help me plan for staying OP while on the road. My biggest weakness is red wine, so cutting that out completely is going to be hard but this is what I need to do for ME. I really want to feel like a hottie again. LOL

I'm really excited to join the September group and look forward to cheering others on while I get some support!

Hi Everyone
So yesterday was bad I ate some cheese and olives which I know I wasnt supposed to. But it was hard not to since I had not eaten anything since lunch and I was starving. But on thr bright side I did not have the butter cookies wine or chocolate that was also available. So I made the better choice. Hope this doesnt push me back too much

Hi Docsaver I am like you with a heavy duty work schedule and a weakness for wine. We must keep ourselves motivated. I am happy to work with you. I need to loose about 25 lbs for my first goal. SO lets shake it off:carrot:

Great news! Just came back from my week 2 WI and I have now lost a total of 15 pounds! I'm so excited!

I will be traveling for the next two weeks for work with a winery trip in between. It will definitely be a challenge but I am ready for it!

I also have a new goal. My husband's company is sending everyone to Mexico for a vacation! So, I would really love to lose 30 more pounds before December 6, but I know that will be a challenge. I am going to try though!

Thank you everyone for your support on this board. It has helped me immensely! Make it a great Friday!

Today's the end of my second week, down 12.6 pounds :)

Last night was the first time I had gone 'out' anywhere since starting and BOY OH BOY was it tough. We had dinner with some friends in the neighbourhood, there were 8 of us all sitting around a table which had an assortment of 'snacks' … it was an end of the summer get-together. I made good choices, ate as per program but really spent a great deal of time breaking down the other foods and WANTING THEM! Missing conversation because I was looking at one or another of the items and knowing I was salivating imagining what it might taste like …. crazy ville!
I'm not going to mention what the foods were to save any of you 'sensitive' folks out there the anguish I experienced …. Suffice to say I did conquer the demon, quiet the monster and come home knowing that I CAN DO THIS :)

I also had a little insight thinking about which foods I 'would' have eaten (and didn't) and that's why I have been able to get to the heavy weight I was at! (insert light bulb)
In the past 2 weeks i've been seeing all the snacking, little bit of this and that … which I used to do and of course now don't do.
At my age, we really don't need very much food … the rest is all calories.

I am down 12.5 pounds since starting IP, this journey is remarkable, looking forward to week 3.

Way. To. Go!! Awesome job. My very first night of the program I had to go to a party with more food than I care to think about. I did my best to concentrate on why I was there, to see my friends. I socialized a ton and did my best to ignore the food. For too long, food has been too much of a focus in my life. No more!

Do you think that we could ask for a dancing celery or cucumber instead of a dancing carrot (more in keeping with IP)? :carrot:

Just saying hi to all,
Skeet

I agree about the lemon pudding - hated it. Also was not a fan (at all!) of the pina colada drink. Everything else is surprisingly good. Favorite so far is the capuchino drink - could have had three of those!

I have a technical question - if you're quoting someone else's comment, how can you pull just a portion of it, not the whole thing?
